Irritating, Annoying Rose

Raymond Mandy was not happy to be delivering this rose. He and Archie Renner did not get along, especially after Raymond almost blinded the guy. He did not feel bad for that. But, the situation was still awkward. He jogged up to Archie in the hallway and passively held out the pink rose to him. "Some idiot decided you were worth the effort." he stated sourly. He was still looking for the note in his pocket.

Archie was making his way in between rose deliveries as a familiar face interrupted him. It was surprising to be approached by the guy that nearly blinded him out of everyone else in the school so Archie's defenses were immediately up. He wanted to frown, tell the guy to go away but he simultaneously wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt and chose that over being rude. He was glad he did when a pink rose was handed to him. It brought a smile to his face. "Thank you." He said, continuing to smile as he waited for the guy to also hand him his note, anticipating what it would say and who could have sent it.​

Raymond found the note. He held it in his hand for a moment before he ripped the folded piece of parchment in half. He let the two miserable pieces float to the ground. Raymond chose not to say anything. He was satisfied with himself. The note had only been ripped in two, so if Archie was smart enough, he'd be able to put two and two together and get his message.
