This is open to anyone on the Thundelarra Thunderers. No need to ask just hop on in!

Honestly, Derrick didn't know what he was doing. Well no, he knew exactly what he was doing. But still, he didn't know. Maybe moving halfway across the globe to try and see the kids he had practically abandoned years ago was not a good idea. He was sure his Ex would agree with him on that one. So it was lucky that she didn't know he was here. Not that her knowing would change anything. Derrick was pretty damn determined to have a better relationship with his offspring and try and make up for all the lost time. Which there was an awful lot of.

At least he had an excuse other than his kids to be here. After retiring from playing, it kind of made sense to move into a coaching role and luckily enough there was one open. Sure, he had failed to mention he had never actually coached before. And while he was sure he was not going to be the coach of the year anytime soon, he was going to try and give it a shot. How hard could it be? He knew the game, he had played it professionally for over a decade. All he had to do now was stand there and yell at people to play it better than they were. Easy enough. But as he stood there in front of the Thundelarra Thunderers, arms crossed over his chest and the semi-permanent scowl on his face, he did have to wonder again what he was actually doing here. "Right." Might as well start simple with an introduction. "I'm Derrick Elliott and I'm your new coach for the foreseeable future. Yes, I am English. Yes, I did use to play at a professional level. Any other dumb questions before we move on?"

Liam had been enjoying the years of playing quidditch professionaly so far. At Hogwarts it wasn't so seriously until the last game he played there he saw the fame in it. He was good at it and it was nice hitting people with the bludger often. He enjoyed the life that came with it and some of the attention. Especially from girls. He had been on the time now for some time and didn't thought of changing or doing sometimes else. Also it was fun to play with his cousin Gabriel, who grown out to be his best friend and roommate. Although he wondered how long that last would take. But that didn't mattered too much. He was enjoying his own life. Seeing himself as an superstart obviously.

As he and Gabriel made his way to the training he wondered how their new coach would be. He only heard the man played himself. And he figured that was the only thing important. Someone with no experiance had nothing to do at that position to his taste. They entered the field and were the first to join. As they were complete he listened as the man spoke. He was English, so that was one thing in common. They could understand eachother perfectly that was nice. He put his arms over eachother as the man spoke. He wanted to be funny so he looked at Gabriel and it was nice to try and see what kind of man he was. '' Nice girlfriend?'' He than asked with an grin.

Gabriel was pleased with his life. Different family members of his like Sofia and Giselle had different opinions about his career but he saw it differently and tried to show that to his youngest sister as well. He saw the beauty in quidditch and enjoyed it a lot. He played for some while now and it had been fun with Liam. It was an shame that they didn't hanged out so much as they did now when they were at Hogwarts. But they were in different houses and years so it was fine the way it turned out to be their friendship. He enjoyed being with Sophie also, and was proud of what she all did for the Hogwarts Monthly. They both had their careers and he was wondering what the future would bring.

As he joined Liam in their way to the training he watched the new coach. Gabriel was all fine with anything if the man would be good and help them in victorys he didn't mind who was in front of him. He had to have an winners mentality because losing was still not Gabriel's best behavior. He hated it. As the man spoke he listened and before the man finished and said the last part he already knew Liam was gonna open his mouth. Gabriel couldn't help but grin for an moment and was wondering what the man would say. If he could shut his cousins mouth or would roll with it. '' Where did you played coach?'' He than figured making an better conversation.

Maybe he should have thought up some kind of script for this sort of thing. Maybe it would have made it a little easier. But it was too little too late for that, he decided to just go with the first thing that popped into his head, and here he was. Instantly his lips pressed into an even harder scowl at the first response, though failed in trying to show that the question didn't bother him as much as it did. As much as it probably shouldn't have. "No." Was the rather short and clipped response, dark eyes only staring at the Beater for a second. He'd of course bothered to flick through the faces and names so he knew who was who, but he hadn't bothered to look any further than that.

Then one of the chasers asked a more sensible question and Derrick let out a huff. "Was with the Arrows for most of my career." There was a little more to it than that, he'd played for the Ballycastle Bats and the Chudley Canons as well, but that was only for a couple of seasons so he decided it wasn't even worth mentioning. "Anything else, or can we move on from my life story now?"

Liam had found his question to be funny. And wondrered how the coach would react. He could than tell if the man could take an joke or was an grumpy man. The man did answer the question so that was good and didn't told him to shut up or anything. He didn't had an girlfriend it seemed so. '' Neither have I. But there are plenty of fishes in the sea coach.'' Liam said with an grin. He looked at his cousin and smiled. '' He has one.'' Liam than said, not that he and Sophie were the best match. He had seen her often and enjoyed irritating the girl once in a while. He could add to it, that she was not nice. But he figured he wanted to keep Gabriel without getting an punch, since he was easily mad. Liam than heard the man explaining where he had played and than and Liam figured the man had been some time in England where he grew up. '' Mate I'm from England too. Nice club to have played at'' Liam said in the most british way possible. He needed the coach at his side so figured to add that.

Gabriel sometimes wanted to hit Liam. He enjoyed the company of his cousin and they always had an good time when drinking at the bar. But the way he spoke of possible womans/girls made him roll his eyes. He hoped that one day Liam would find an girl and not continue to the next, but stay there. How many times when they still lived together there was an girl knocking on the door crying or angry and he had to tell that Liam wasn't home. Now that he lived with Sophie for some time he hadn't had to deal with that stuff anymore. He gave Liam an push as he told he had an girlfriend. That was not important now. But he was happy with her ofcourse. '' Cool. What position you are most experianced with?'' He asked the man. He was just curious at that and than was done with talking and wanted to train.
