Avie was not scared of anything, or well, that was what he told himself incredibly often. It was a fact that was for the most part, false. Avie was scared of a number of things. He just didn't really realise that he was scared of it really. He didn't like when people were mean to him, but he rarely realised when people were being mean to him. So, in a way, the boy was hardly scared of things. He enjoyed having fun, and he liked taking risk a lot. He just didn't see the point of not doing things because they were a little bit dangerous. Which was a principal that he added to things that he knew that might scare a little more. He had for this reason not yet gone into the forest, but now was his chance. He was both nervous and excited for it. It wasn't really like he was going at a tricky time. He'd just been in the Great Hall, and he'd taken a few things for breakfast and his feet had carried him outside. He had then walked till he stood in front of the forest. He had everything he was need for a fun packed day, and he wasn't afraid of the forest really, well that was what he told himself. In his backpack was also his trusty wand that he really could do very little with, but felt like he needed and the strange newsletter thing, which had his picture in it. Rumour has it, or something. He had taken it just because he'd been curious to read it later and find out what had really been said about him. Well ask someone else to read it to him. He wasn't too fussed, but he wondered why he'd been singled out. He was sure that he hadn't done anything that was really note worthy. He was sure.
After just standing staring at the forest for a good few moments, the boy just decided, f##k it, it's the end of term, what is the worst that could happen. So, he steeled himself and then walked into the forest. He broke into a run after a few steps. He had however somehow completely forgotten that the forest was actually forbidden. Not that it would've really stopped the boy. He ducked and avoided all that he could as he made his way deeper and deeper. Soon, he could barely see the way he'd came. After losing his breath pretty quickly, he came to a slow stop, tripping over his own shoes and tumbling to the ground. He laughed to himself loudly, before remembering where he was and putting a hand over his mouth to stop much more sound. He sat up and glanced around him. He wondered, was this even a good idea. But, as he turned around, the boy could not honestly tell which way he'd come from. So, he decided to go the way his mind and his instinct were telling him. Which was also the wrong way, but he trusted them. So, now at a much slower pace he continued his walk. He had to admit nothing was particularly scary about the forest, but every little sound he felt like he could hear more clearly, and he had to admit his heart was racing. He was jumping at small sounds he knew was nothing. The forest just heightened everything. Being in the forest he was sure he'd be alone. He kept his gaze moving all around him. Not wanting to miss anything, he was keeping an eye out for rocks, but he was also just making sure he knew what was surrounding him. Avie was a little bit scared but he was incredibly happy with his decision to come to the forest.
