Ilvermorny Quidditch Practice Y40 S2

Micha paused and nervously ran his fingers through his hair. This was not going well.
 
Mykaela was honestly surprised by how good Felicity was during this practice, she just tried to cheer for every her hit while trying to hit someone too.
 
Sticking with Jia, Felicity felt her spirits boosted by Mykaela's support, glad that of the other girls on the team, she was partnered with her as her fellow beater.
 
Spotting a bludger headed towards Jia, Felicity moved to intercept it, knocking it cleanly into @Yoo Hyun Ki.

Micha kept looking for the snitch.
 
Feeling confident, Felicity dodged away from Jia to intercept a bludger that probably would have passed them by. Her swing was aimed poorly however and the bludger swerved right back into @Jia Warren, making Felicity wince. "Ooh, my bad, that's the exact opposite of what I meant to do!"

Jia winced as she saw Yoo git hit, and before she knew what was happening another bludger hit her. She hissed in a breath, stopping to try and catch her wind again. "No, it's okay, it happens," She tried to reassure the other girl with a shaky smile.
 
Trying to get more into the game, Lucas shot forward and caught the quaffle as it was thrown back out, starting to circle around again.
 
Micha's mood was growing uncharacteristically sour as his search continued.
 
Felicity was glad Jia had taken the hit well, she wouldn't be nearly as gracious after taking a bludger herself. "I'll keep the other ones away, promise," she assured her.
 
Micha still kept looking and tried not to feel too helpless about this taking so long.
 
Micha sighed for what felt like the hundredth time. The snitch seemed to have disappeared completely.
 
Lucas made his way back around and threw the Quaffle through the hoops, smiling slightly at the success. It still felt hollow, but it was a success all the same.
 
Jia continued her search.
 
Micha had stopped to wipe his face with his hand in frustration. But when he dropped his hand he noticed the snitch hovering a few feet in front of him. He blinked a few times before reaching for it and starting a chase that thankfully didn't last too long before he finally grabbed the snitch and held it up triumphantly.
 
Jia continued her search.
 
Sticking with Jia, Felicity turned when she saw someone shooting across the pitch, cheering and clapping whens he realized it was Micha and he'd managed to snag the snitch. "Your turn next, then?" She said brightly to Jia, twirling her bat in her hand.
 
Micha was relieved to catch the snitch at least once but it had taken forever. Hopefully his next catch would be a bit quicker.
 
Felicity kept her eyes peeled, tempted to try and follow a passing bludger but not wanting to be the reason Jia took another hit.
 
Hyun grinned when he saw the first catch of practice. "Nice one!" He made sure to compliment, grabbing the quaffle for himself as it was thrown back out after Lucas made his goal.
 
Spotting an incoming bludger, Felicity manevered herself between it and Jia, hitting it away cleanly. She'd been more focused on clearing the bludger than aiming however and winced as it smacked into @Lucas Ames. Not her best work, but a hit was a hit.

Flick was feeling a bit antsy, she'd had mixed success protecting Jia and seeing the bludgers zip around while she waited for them was distracting. She gave Jia a little wave before separating, deciding to try going on the offensive for a bit instead.
