Ilvermorny,Practice

Hyun couldn't believe that his time on the Ilvermorny team was going to be soon coming to a close, but he was thankful he had one more match. One more game to play before he really had to say goodbye to the team and to the school for good. "Hey guys, gather around," he offered softly as everyone arrived for their planned practice. "I just want to say, it's been great getting to co-captain you guys, and I am sure Lucas shares my sentiments." He smiled, offering a look towards his friend and co-captain. He knew Lucas had been having it tough this year, but he appreciated the other boy for not just giving up on Quidditch. "Okay, I don't want to get too sappy so let's get on with things," he tried a laugh, straightening his grip around his broom, "We have our match with Hogwarts coming up and we need to practice hard if we don't want a repeat of last year." Anything but a repeat of last year. "I know we can win this one and prove that Ilvermorny is just as good as Hogwarts when it comes to Quidditch. So let's get up there and let's have a good practice!"

This was it. His final practice with the team. Lucas couldn't believe how far he'd come since school. His brothers were gone. Einar had come into his life, changed his world, and then left Lucas behind. And now, the last constant in his life was ending. He just hoped they could go out on a good note. He smiled softly at Hyun, and softly at the team. "I know this team doesn't always see eye to eye on everything, but you guys have been like a family to me." Even when Adam was around like an obnoxious older brother that would sell you for a grape, and Abigail sometimes seemed like a cranky little sister that would push you into a mud puddle just so she didn't get her shoes dirty. "Let's show those guys what a real team looks like, yeah?" He took off into the air with the others, giving the others a chance to grab the quaffle.

Yoo made his way to the hoops to stop the balls from going in.

Micha wasn't convinced that the game against Beauxbatons wasn't a dream. It didn't feel real and yet they had a very real game against Hogwarts that was fast approaching. He hardly paid attention to Hyun's speech before practice started and he took to the air to look for the snitch.

Felicity had been surprised to find she enjoyed Quidditch as much as she did, and doubly so after winning against Beauxbatons. She leant on her broom as the captains addressed the team, feeling emotional at their speeches despite only knowing them a short while. As the team was dismissed, she shot into the air, wondering who'd be their captain next year; hopefully Mykaela, Flick thought, moving to start tracking down the bludgers.

Micha kept looking for the snitch. Practice just started so he wasn't too worried about finding it yet.

Felicity knew she hadn't played quite as well as Mykaela during their game so she was determined to put in a little more effort today, tucking close to her broom as she chased down a bludger.

Micha kept looking for the snitch.

Flick took a swing, nearly swinging herself around and off her broom as her bat failed to connect. Righting herself, she blew a lock of her hair out of her face, trying to laugh off the move.

Micha tried to stay relaxed as he looked for the snitch. There was no need to get stressed out yet.

Shaking off her last attempt to hit, Felicity decided to spend some time tailing Micha, giving him a happy wave hello as she caught up to him.

Lucas grabbed the quaffle and started for the hoops.

Micha smiled as Felicity waved at him. He was glad she was on the team but he kept flying and looking for the snitch.

Felicity beams when Micha smiled at her, knocking away a bludger without really looking where it was headed.

Yoo was carefully watching where the quaffle was going, hoping to better defend his hoops.

Felicity belatedly checked over her shoulder, realizing she'd been busy watching Micha and completely lost track of the bludgers for the moment.

Lucas made his way to the hoops, but his head wasn't in it as he threw the ball. He blinked, smiling a bit as Yoo caught the ball. "Good catch!" He called out.

Jia showed up for practice with the others, and took off into the air to begin her search.

Felicity drifted away from Micha a bit when she spotted Jia, trying to hit a bludger towards the other seeker and missing handily. She tried not to pout as she lowered her bat, turning to stick back with Micha.

The snitch was doing a good job at hiding but Micha kept looking.

Felicity wasn't having much luck with the bludgers while tailing after Micha. It felt good to act like she was protecting him, but she wanted more practicing actually hitting something.

Mykaela was all excited after the game, first, Mykaela and Felicity both took out the seeker and then Micha caught the quaffle. It was exciting for Mykaela, even after how sappy their captains were. Well, it was sweet but Mykaela was just impatient to finally play, so when she was allowed to, she easily took the air, looking for a bludger.

Feeling fidgety, Flick gave Micha a quick wave again before peeling off to try an hunt down a bludger on her own.

Micha hardly noticed as Felicity flew off. He was focused on finding the snitch.

Still looking for bludgers, Felicity was briefly distracted as the wind blew her hair in her face, slowing her broom to try and brush her bangs from her face.
