Lyra Potter pushed through the crowd, trying to find her family. She knew she should feel happy, but it was just too much for her right now. Most days, she really was doing better. It hurt less. However, today was not the average day. It was a special day. A day her mom should have been there to see. She imagined it would be this way for her on every special occasion from now on. Happiness and sadness all mashed up together. Lyra's green eyes scanned the crowd, not able to see anything. Frustrated, the graduate stood up in the nearest chair, looking over the heads of other people.

It had been a long time coming, but attending graduation was something Felix had wished he could have done, as a graduate and not as a guest. He'd made an anger-fuelled decision and had regretted it the moment he had left the castle. Or rather, decided not to return, it hadn't been easy. He'd missed Falon and James, he'd missed Silus even, his stupid dumb face, believe it or not. He didn't trust the guy as far as he could throw him. He looked around for Falon and was surprised when he saw a familiar brunette head pop up above the crowd. He headed over, tentatively, and reached up to tug on her arm. "Hey, Lyra."

Lyra felt a tug on her arm, and she looked down, expecting to see Link or one of her family members, but found Felix instead. She jumped down out of the chair, taking a step back from Felix. This would not be like the last time. She shouldn’t be surprised to see him here, but she was. “Felix. Hi.” she said, uncomfortably.
