Elvera wasn't a fan of valentines day. The thought of love brought memories back to her that she really didn't want to face. She was glad that they hadn't had valentines dances when she had been at the school either as a student or as a professor before as that would have been even harder. now she was back and was on supervising duty. it was not her job to be happy or in love tonight. it was her job to keep an eye out for the students making sure some couples didn't get too much into the spirit of the night. or that someone didn't try and ruin the fun of the event like professor pandilon had caught someone doing at the Yule ball almost dragging her daughter into trouble. she wandered around the hall pausing at one of the snack tables to get some punch and a cupcake before continuing her patrol. she paused every now and then to wish someone a happy valentines day or ask someone how their evening was going. however, she didn't want to interrupt the students fun too much if she didn't need to. though she hoped that one of the other professors would be around to have a chat to.
