Avie had spent his christmas holidays at school. He had enjoyed the emptiness of this school during that time and the way in which it had just been pretty amazing to not have to worry about anything. He had gone swimming countless times, and had indeed found more and more rocks to add to his collection, though his collection was growing faster than he had intended and it did mean that he'd had to get rid of some of the older less nice rocks. Which had taken a good day to decide. For young Avie deciding which rocks were not worth keeping, was pretty hard. He thought that they were all incredible. In the end he had made the decision, and he'd taken the rocks he didn't like back into the lake. Of course following this, the boy mere days later had began his search for new rocks, as well as other wonders in that lake, and had brought back a few of those rocks that he had thrown out. It was a sunny day, when the rest of the school seemed to be appearing for the start of the new semester. It had been a nice short break, but he wasn't really going to stop there. Oh no. The boy rushed to get dressed and rushed outside. it was nicely warm, and the boy first went to the lake. Where he once again, just walked far enough in, and then started swimming again. He was mostly just trying to locate the glasses he had lost about two days before. Avie had another pair, and he'd already sent a letter telling his mother about the lost glasses, but he was trying to see if he could get them back. About an hour after the boy realised that his glasses were well and truly gone. There was little hope of him getting them back.

Getting out the water, Avery decided that the best way for him to dry off quickly would be to run around. And so, making sure he had everything, the boy set off, running as fast as he could through the grounds. He smiled happily, laughing as he felt the wind against his ears, the clothes weighing him down and the sheer elation from just being to run around without anyone telling him he had to stop. Eventually he ran into the hogwarts garden. A lovely place full of flowers, he loved them right now. The flowers looked so magical. Happily the boy continued running. He just went down all the pathways, and everything he could. There was little stopping him, he was even speeding up rather than slowing down. This would not bode well, since Avie was fairly clumsy. it was only a matter of time before something went wrong. What that turned out to be, was actually someone sitting on a bit of grass. Avie did not see and unfortunately tripped up over someone, he went flying to the ground. He tumbled as he fell, ending up lying in the mud with the flowers all around him. He was lying in the mud, the boy had flowers on his face and a slightly sore head. "I love flowers" Avie smiled and laughed. This was definitely a good day, he was really looking forward to the rest of it. Avie was just so happy to be at school. He loved hogwarts. He could not imagine any other place would be as good.

The christmas holidays where over, and Marcellus had spend his at Hogwarts. He wanted to know how it felt like, not being home for once, he had spend the holidays almost alone in the Hufflepuff common room or the Great Hall, which he did not mind at all. The castle was nice and quiet and he now had all the time to the stuff that he liked, like non-stop reading or eating as much as he could until he was full. Yep, Marcellus had a lot of fun being at Hogwarts for the holidays and knew he would now spend all the other christmas holidays here too. At some point, late in the morning he woke up after almost being awake for the whole night reading. Slowly he opened his eyes, with difficulty and began to stretch out, he still couldn't see properly and yawned, Marcellus got out of bed and put his clothes on. ''Time to get outside, boy.'' He thought, ''But first, breakfast.'' And with his thoughts at breakfast he walked towards the Great Hall.

After breakfast he went outside, and sat down on the nice and soft grass, Marcel took a book out of his bag and began to read the cover, ''One Thousand Magical Herbs and Fungi by Phyllida Spore, that's a mouth full..'' he opened the book and began to read a piece on Aconite, also known as wolfsbane or monkshood. Marcel sat in the exact same spot for another half hour reading about Wiggentrees, Mandrakes and Devil's Snare a weird plant that, if you didn't relax would strangle you. ''Well, you better stay away from that plant Marcel'' he thought to himself. Suddenly he felt his legs getting a punch, or whatever it was. He was shocked and jumped up, looking around for what had hit his legs. A little further Marcel saw a boy with his face in the mud and ran to him. He knelt by him and said in an anxious voice ''Dude? Are you ok?''

Falling down in to the mud was something that Avie did a little more often that he really meant to. The boy was constantly not correctly tying his laces, or tripping up over twigs or people. He just had a knack for falling over. This mostly occurred when he was running around, and Avie spent a lot more time running around than he knew he should really admit to. He was still young, he figured he was alright to do so. It was just the question of if any of the other first year students ran around as much as him. He was smiling as rolled on to his back, staring up at the sky above him. He laughed, and stretched slightly. He was went, and he'd probably need to go back into that lake later to get rid of all the mud that was now on him, but that was an issue for later. Right now the boy was just happy to be in with the flowers. The boy loved flowers, though he could never understand why they never lasted that long. Why they always died generally quite soon after he'd gotten them. The boy didn't even here when someone approached him, though he was also not startled by the voice. He just looked to where a shadow had appeared at his side. He nodded to the question. Sure his head was a little sore, and he was sure that he'd scrapped his hands and knees, but the boy was fine. he was happy. It was the simple little things that really brought true joy to Avie. He was happy whenever, he was doing something he enjoyed. Really, the young slytherin spent all his time doing things he enjoyed.

Sitting up on his elbows, the boy smiled at the other person in front of him. "I'm alright dude" He smiled at the boy, his tone joyful, and as if he hadn't just fallen into the mud. "I must've tripped up over you man, I'm sorry. I was running because I was swimming in the lake, and needed to get dry" He answered, saying perhaps a little more than was truly necessary, not that it really mattered to Avie. he enjoyed being around others. Pulling himself up, just so that he was only sat in the mud, the boy extended, what was now, a slightly muddy hand to the other. "I'm Avie" He introduced. Avie knew the boy from his classes, and realised that he was not a slytherin. "I'm a slytherin, but I go outside a lot, so I'm not grumpy like the rest of them. They get grumpy from the lack of light." He explained to the boy, just so that he realised that Avie was a nice slytherin and he wasn't grumpy or easily annoyed. He figured his method of explaining this would work fine with this boy. Although Avie didn't really think that all slytherin's were grumpy, he definitely thought it was from the lack of daylight and fun that those people had. Avie kept smiling at the other boy, maybe they could be friends, it would be fun to be friends. The young Slytherin, really loved making all the friends that he could. It would be people to hang out with, now that most of the school was back, and he could actually hang out with others and not just on his own, as much as he did enjoy that.

With his heart in his mouth, Marcellus smiled towards the boy. ''Holy.. You scared the crap out of me.'' It was hard for him to talk but he managed do to it anyway. Marcel swallowed his throat and ran his hand through his hair, he did not like to get shocked. Marcel sat down next to the boy and glanced at him ''I'm glad that you're fine'' He smiled again, he spoke a little bit easier than before and his anxious tone had left his vocal cords. Marcel listened to what the boy said and thought about it, it was kind of a odd way to dry yourself. ''You were running because you needed to get dry?'' He looked confused. ''Anyway, I won't ask you any weird questions about that.'' Marcellus scratched the back of his head and picked up his book that he had dropped, he blew some dirt from the book, Marcel was still listening to what the boy said. When the young boy had introduced himself as Avie he nodded towards him. ''I'm Marcellus, nice to meet you, Av.'' Marcellus had seen this boy roaming around the castle a few times before. He had to laugh about what Avie said about the other Slytherin students ''Is it wrong to say that you're right? Oh and by the way I'm in Hufflepuff and not really that patient at all.'' Marcellus liked this boy, he had known Avie for only a few seconds and he immediately made Marcellus laugh, they would be good friends, he could feel it.

Avie squinted slightly at the boy, he'd scared him, that as strange, he'd just tripped that was perfectly normal. "I'm sorry man, didn't mean to scare you. I also didn't mean to fall, but I'm a little clumsy sometimes." He shrugged at him, reaching out and patting the other boy on the shoulder, a small apolegtic pat, as much as Avie could do. he didn't really understand that he'd scared the boy, Avie had done much worse, he fell all of the time. "yeah, me too!" He exclaimed brightly, looking down at himself, he had some small scraps and stuff, but mostly he was just muddy and wet. It wasn't a good combination, but he felt like it was alright. He was good. He wasn't dry and he'd need to get wet again before he headed back into the school, but that didn't altogether matter. It wasn't the first time he'd done something of the sort. "I fall all the time, but it's always nice to fall against something kinda soft." The boy patted the ground as if to make his point clear, that grass and mud was soft, though it really wasn't unless the ground itself was wet, and since it was just summer, it wasn't that wet, and therefore wasn't that soft. It wasn't like Avie really cared. He just dealt with things when and if they happened. He wasn't too fussed about getting hurt, they are in a magic school in his mind, he'll always be fine.

"I assure you that it works!" Avie nodded at him, hearing the confusion. "it's like a hairdryer, you know that really loud thing that blows hot hair, that thing girls use. It's like that. I run, and the air drys me! I'll admit that, even when I do that, it takes a while to dry." He scratched his head. "I don't mind talking about it. I think it's the way of the future. Forget magic and hair dryer stuff. Running" As Avie spoke it was clear that he was mostly joking. He laughed lightly when he finished. He really didn't mind talking about it, but it wasn't the primary issue you really, when they boy had said he was a hufflepuff Avie smiled brightly at him, from his experiences of hufflepuffs they were pretty nice. They got a lot of sh1t from people who were in Avie's head just super mean. The boy mentioned not being like them, and Avie laughed along with him. "Nah, I know I'm right Marcel. Slytherins are just super grumpy." He just said in agreement. "One of my dorm-mates is already super grumpy and he's first year like us man. I was showing him my amazing rock collection and didn't seem that excited. Rock are amazing. Anyone who doesn't like rocks has to be super grumpy. I mean, the dude's alright, but he needs like so much sunlight. Just to stop being so grumpy." Avie was talking pretty rapidly, he had thought the boy had been interested in his rock collection, but he was not sure the opposite was true. He admittedly didn't know about Hufflepuffs, and being patient. Avie wasn't sure what that really meant. He knew that he wasn't that patient. "It's a good thing I'm not Hufflepuff. I'm not that patient at all. You seem alright though man. I like hufflepuffs, all the ones I've met have been really nice. Must be the yellow, works in the opposite way of those dungeons. Yellow must make people friendly." The boy concluded, nodding his head, before laughing lightly.

After a while he calmed down, his heart rhythm had become peaceful and Marcellus had fully regained his voice. He rolled up his left pant leg and saw a red spot, ''It could've been worse, right?'' Marcel smiled towards Avie, he had put his pant leg back down and slowly straightened up. ''Don't worry about it, I'll be fine.'' Marcellus laughed softly ''A little clumsy ey?'' He grinned at Avie, he hoped that the boy wouldn't see it as an insult, Marcel sucked at making jokes all the time, back in Blenheim- a few older boys chased him very oftenly because he made really bad jokes that the boys didn't like that much so Marcellus had decided not to make jokes at his time in Hogwarts. He smiled when the boy patted him on his shoulder, and knew it was sort of an apology. Marcellus was pleased to see that Avie was not like the rest of the Slytherin crowd, mean and bad, it was a little rude to say since he had never met another Slytherin student but he heard the stories from his mother and knew well enough not the mess with them if he didn't want to get in trouble. This kid was nice and friendly and would probably have more friends than the other Slytherin students, that's what he thought at least. Marcellus looked a bit confused when Avie said that it was always nice to fall against something soft, ''Falling isn't really.. Great, even if you fall against something soft as grass, it could still hurt you pretty badly.''

He looked even more confused at them boy when he said something about a hairdryer and that it blows hot air, Marcel knew he was a Half-blood wizard, but his father had never told him about a hairdryer or something like that. Anyways, he liked the thought of running yourself dry a lot because Marcellus would've grabbed a towel and dried himself with that. Marcel nodded a few times, while Avie was talking ''You really think running is going to be the next big thing to dry yourself, instead of using a towel or some sort of charm?'' He looked questioningly at the boy before him. He had given it a thought, what if? What if it could be the next thing to dry yourself? Running instead of using magic. It wouldn't be easy for everyone, and it would take a lot of time to dry, but for some people it could be a thing. The boy came out of his mind when Avie began to speak. ''Well, I don't think they're super grumpy though, but it comes very close to it.'' He grinned shortly. ''Err-- Ok, nevermind.. If a first year is already that grumpy, don't mention the older students.'' Marcellus heard Avie saying something about his stone collection and looked surprised ''You collect rocks?'' He had hoped not to sound judgemental, if Avie liked collecting rocks, so be it, sure it was new to him but if that's what Avie liked to do, then he had to accept that and not making fun of it. ''Uhh, by the way you don't seem mean or bad to me, so why are you in Slytherin? If I may ask of course.'' Marcellus smiled again ''And is it really the yellow that makes us nice?''

Glancing as the other boy showed his own little injury, now Avie felt a little bad, he glanced up at the boy as he spoke. "Did I do that?" He asked carefully, then from within his pocket pulled out an incredibly wet hankerchief. It was something his mother had given to him just before he'd left for school. Generally Avie used it to clean off his glasses, but he held it out to the boy. "I didn't mean to hurt you" He kept his gaze on Marcel as he spoke, holding it out for him. This was despite the little scraps that he himself had. He wasn't too bothered by those. They did not factor in as much as causing harm to another. He smiled however, and laughed along with this boy when he made a small joke. "Like bambi on ice." He was unsure as to if he would be able say such a thing and for the other boy to have understood what he meant, but it didn't really matter. His family was not muggle, but it did keep some of the same traditions. Which was nice, Avie thought. It made things a lot easier for him. He shook his head when Marcel disagreed about falling. "Falling can hurt, but not on soft grass, or mud." He stopped himself from continuing. "Well it can hurt, but that doesn't really matter, it's all part of the fun. And at least it wasn't concrete. That would be sore. You know." He patted the ground beneath them, and then just smiled at the other boy. Avie was never really overly concerned about his own safety it wasn't something he spent too much time considering. With all the things he ended up doing, it was sort of something that would take away from any and all the fun that Avie might be trying to have.

Avie did not notice the confused look which passed across Marcel's face. Avie didn't really think about many things the entire way through, he could be speaking to someone who had next to no experience with muggle contraptions. He listened to what the boy had to say but shrugged. "But, what if you have neither a towel nor a wand" He said, though his theory was falling apart. He didn't really care, the boy really just loved running around. He loved jumping up and down and being active. If doing this also dried his clothes then he was perfectly happy with that being something that happened. He did it so often that to him, it was the only method by which he really dried. other than just changing clothes. "You do have a valid point Marcel. I'll work on it." Avie added with a smile. Avie wondered how much contact Marcel had come into with other Slytherins. Avie knew what he was talking about. They were grumpy people that much was certain. He was sure that no matter how much he tried to find others like him, there would just be too many grumpy ones. When the boy asked if he collected rocks, Avie nodded happily. "I do! They are just so much fun." He went into his pocket and pulled out a few rocks that he still had left. "I played with them at home, and hogwarts has so many to collect." He smiled from his rocks to the boy, just as Marcel asked a question that Avie just shrugged at. He didn't really know why he was slytherin. "I don't know. I didn't fit anywhere else. I'm not smart, I can barely read. I'm not hard working, I get bored and give up. I'm not brave. Which leaves Slytherin" He gave a shrug. "Even though they all seem pretty grumpy I like Slytherin." Avie had never thought about why he'd been placed in Slytherin, he had his issues with it, but that didn't matter really. "How come your Hufflepuff?" He asked with a grin. "Well, I think so. Yellow is the colour of the sun, which is warm and makes me happy. Yellow flowers are really nice. Yellow is a nice colour, so it must make the other hufflepuffs nice."

Smiling shortly he nodded towards the boy, he appreciated the boys concern for him. ''Yep, you did that.'' Marcellus rolled up his left pant leg again ''Okay, it stings a little bit, but it is probably nothing to worry about.'' He said, smiling to the Slytherin boy. ''I know you didn't meant to, you are way too nice for that'' Once again he hoped that the joke turned out to be a good one, a grin appeard on his face and took the handkerchief from Avie. He had laid the handkerchief on the red spot and patted it a few times to make sure that he had placed it well. The boy glanced back up again, he thought he understood this joke and nodded. ''Bambi, that little deer.. Right?'' His father had shown him a few old films, really old films in his opinion but that did not matter much to his father. The boy kept listening to Avie, had this boy not felt any pain when he fell? Ok he fell on soft grass and mud and it would probably don't hurt as much as falling on concrete or stone, but still it could hurt him a little. ''Where is the fun of falling?'' He asked confused and not to sound rude or anything. ''But you're right, at least it wasn't concrete. That would have been very badly.'' Marcel turned around the handkerchief and smiled towards Avie.

This was fun, Marcel had finally found himself a friend which whom he could talk to, or play with or even do homework with together at least, he hoped so. The only other friend that he had were girls, he liked them, the girls but he needed a male friend as well. Marcellus nodded in agreement. ''You have a point, waiting to get dry takes much more time and running would speed everything up a little bit.'' He looked thoughfully at the boy and scratched his head. Avie had given Marcel something to think of during lessons or while he was waiting to fall asleep at night, what is the best way to dry yourself? Grab a towel or using a wand, or running. This was one of those problems that was going to stuck in his thoughts, but he did not mind that. Marcel thought about the way someone could play with stones; Letting them bounce on the water, or see who could throw the farthest, or even let your imagination go wild and let them talk to each other. ''If it's not to rude to ask. How do you play with rocks? And that true, plenty enough rocks at Hogwarts'' Marcel smiled towards Avie. He himself found some pretty rocks during a vacation and had brought a few of them to Hogwarts, maybe some point later he could show them to this boy. I do not believe that you don't fit in anywhere else, I mean you do not look like a big bad Slytherin student who's going to bully anyone.'' Or at least, that is what he thought. Marcellus grinned too. ''I see what you did there.'' He schrugged his shoulders ''Well, I ain't patient that's for sure. I guess that I'm loyal then'' He grinned. ''And again, you're right, yellow is a nice colour.'' The boy nodded fast ''So, do you like being at Hogwarts?''

Watching carefully as the other boy tended to his small wound, Avie felt a little bad. While he didn't entire care about his own safety for the most part, he didn't like when others got hurt because of him. It helped and changed nothing really. Avie glanced around at their surroundings as the boy in front of him said that he was way too nice to have intended to do such a thing. Avie nodded along. Thinking that yes, he was kind and therefore would not have it in him to do such a thing. Unless of course they were playing something that meant that they were supposed to harm one another. That would be the only reason for it. He smiled at the other boy who seemed to be getting the joke, at least in part. "Yeah, he's really terrible on the ice, slipping and falling all over the place. Like me" He practically bounced towards the end of his sentence. Now, while Avie was brought up by wizarding folk, he had always enjoyed those incredibly old muggle movies. With a small tale. He liked the colours and the way the images moved. He liked the stories, and the music. Avie found them fairly easy to follow. He then didn't really understand how this boy didn't really see the fun in falling. "It's like the earth's way of telling you to slow down." He said, "It's not actually that fun, but, I like have fun, so everything that happens is fun!" Although he did agree that falling on hard concrete would not be fun at all. It would be sore, and he would not be as happy in this moment to have fallen on hard ground than he was over just falling on grass and mud. Which both help to cushion his fall.

Avie was really beginning to warm up to Marcel. The other boy was fun, and he appeared quite interested in what Avie had to say, which was always a bonus. Avie smiled at the boy in front of him. Glad he'd run into someone like this, and not someone grumpy or boring. He was glad that Marcel seemed to be a little more inclined to talk about how Avie was right about the running thing. Or at least a little more open to talk about it. Although, Avie's mind had really already moved on from it. He would stand with what he claimed but he realised it would be difficult to sway others to his line of thought. When the other boy asked how you played with rocks, Avie was practically bursting with excitement. "Rocks are so much fun." He said, "You can skim stones on water. You can use them as throwing rocks at animals or other objects. Rock are good little figurines. I mean they can be anything. You can use them to build little house. Endless fun." He shrugged when he finished. Of course he understood that not all people were interested in rocks, but he thought that everyone should be interested in them as he was. It was pretty interesting. He just really enjoyed rocks. He was glad that he thought he was not a big bad slytherin bully. He liked that. He nodded along with what Marcel said. "I don't want to be a bully" he said with a smile and a strong nod. He didn't know if the boy was patient or not, he had only just met him, but if that was what he claimed then so be it. "Yellow is a nice colour!" He said in agreement, with the next question, the boy paused somewhat, "I do like it. I don't really like the classes, they're really hard. I'm not smart, I get lost a lot. But aside from that, this school is amazing. Do you like it?"

The boy smiled when Avie nodded in agreement, Marcellus hoped that Avie didn't began to feel guilty as it could happen to anyone and he did not mind it because he had Avie as a friend now. The pain was almost gone and he took the handkerchief of the wound. The red spot had become a little lighter, his glance slid towards Avie. ''It doesn't hurt as much.'' Marcel folded the handkerchief and placed it on his lap. He was glad that he was right about the deer and listend to the Slytherin boy to explain the rest. ''So you're also terrible on ice?'' He grinned slightly ''You always fall?'' The boy had a painful expression on his face ''Sounds terrible to me'' On this moment Marcel felt kind of sorry for the kid. ''Painful way of the earth to tell you, yes.''

He kept listening to Avie, rocks could be fun indeed, he'd always like to let them bounce on water but throwing rocks at animals? That wasn't fun, not at all! ''Throwing rocks at animals?'' He said, with a suprised expression on his face. ''You really think that's fun? or am I wrong?'' Marcellus looked confused at the boy, not sure if he would smile or not. He still liked Avie but it give him a weird feeling about the boy. ''Oh- ehh, I'm glad that you don't want to be a bully'' Marcellus smiled a bit. He nodded again ''Yes, yellow is.'' He laughed when Avie said that he didn't like the classes. ''I fully understand you, Av. I don't like them either and yes, I really like this school a lot, I've found a few secrets, like a room filled with Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans, I went back a day later and everything was poof, gone.''

OOCOut of Character:
Sorry for this, it's really really bad.

It was good thing, when Avie noticed that the red spot on the boy in front of him was fading. He felt bad, but was in part reassured that it didn't hurt that much, when Marcel told him so. He smiled slightly at the boy, he really hadn't been paying attention. Though Avie hardly ever was. Some things just skipped his mind, and he just didn't pay attention to all things. He had not seen the boy, nor even realised there had been anyone close to him until the boy had first spoken. When it seemed that Marcel had understood his reference Avie smiled slightly more. Nodding as he agreed that he was terrible on ice. Well, it wasn't actually strictly true. "I'm actually really good on ice, as long as I've got the proper gear." Ice skating wasn't something he could do at hogwarts. He couldn't wait to get home after the year was over and go ice skating with his buddy. As Marcel kept talking, Avie shrugged. While it did hurt to fall, he didn't really care. He loved running around and every so often he tripped, that was life. "I don't really mind. I love running around, and playing, so if I fall, it's all in the name of fun" Avie didn't really understand why Marcel seemed so reluctant at that. Was fun not what every boy their age did. He couldn't understand. Was Avie alone in his fun ways. maybe it was just that most didn't actually enjoy falling as much as he did. Or live with the risk as much he did.

As Avie talked about his rocks, he didn't expect the reaction that he got from Marcel. He nodded at the question, although he did so more slowly. He had never been given into trouble for throwing rocks at animals, was that actually wrong? "Yeah, it's fun. I mean you don't want them to get too hurt, or die, you got to be careful. It's fun to watch them run or fly away. Hear them scream out if it hits particularly well" Avie said a little more carefully. His cousins had always used Avie as target practice because he could move so well, and only when there were no animals near by. "Is it wrong to through rocks at animals?" He asked the other boy, unsure as to who was in the wrong, and who was in the right. Surely it was okay, because animals were animals they got over it. And it wasn't like he'd killed anything, or was least he was sure that he hadn't killed any thing. He was glad at least when Marcel seemed to agree with him about classes. They were hard, and there was a lot more fun to be had. When the other boy spoke of a vanishing room, he felt his eyes open widely. That was incredible. "No way." He said, "This really happened? You aren't just making this sh1t up? Where?" He asked, almost playfully demanding. "That sounds incredible. Ah man, I'd eat as many as I could and carry as many as I could. Did they taste good?"

''Proper gear?'' The boy frowned at Avie. ''What do you mean with proper gear?'' Even though he lived with his parents in the muggle world, Marcellus didn't knew much about them or their activities. Marcel always got irritated by the fact that he didn't knew much of them and the things he knew, he learned from his father. The Hufflepuffer laughed shortly and ran his hand through his hair. ''I don't always like running and playing around, but it can be a lot of fun.'' Marcellus had to admit that even though he didn't always liked running and playing around -and would rather spend the time reading a book or doing homework- it can be fun to run around like crazy people and playing games like hide and seek or tag.

The boy rubbed under his nose and nodded softly, he agreed with Avie on not wanting to harm the animals and that it indeed was fun to watch them fly or run away but hearing the animals scream wasn't fun at all. ''No, no it isn't wrong to throw at them, as long as you don't hit the animals you know.'' Marcellus hoped that the boy understood what he was saying. He looked to the handkerchief on his lap. ''Thanks for letting me use this Av.'' He said, smiling brightly towards the Slytherin boy. His smile grew bigger when hearing Avie's reaction. ''Dude, I am not making this sh1t up.'' Marcel shook his head while speaking. ''Found the room somewhere between the second and third floor but like I said, when I went to go back the next day, the whole freaking room was replaced by tables and chairs. The boy sighted deep. ''Unfortunately not, I was in a hurry and got lost. Didn't had the time to taste one.''

While ice skating was one of the things that Avie had always been good at, he often forgot that people at Hogwarts didn't know what it was. "Ice skates" He said brightly, "Ice skates make it easier to be on the ice. It's funny, cause I have terrible balance, but when I use those shoes on the ice, I'm like a ballerina." He laughed slightly, knowing that it was true, but the boy might not believe him, because Avie was truly very clumsy. He knew that most didn't ever really go ice skating, and Avie only went because his friend went, and it turned out Avie was good at it. "I go sometimes to the ice rink with my cousins, we play ice hockey. Two of them against me" He told Marcel, "I lose a lot, and ice is sore, but I love it." He chuckled at this. He loved going ice skating with both his friends and his cousins. It was always so much fun to him. At what the boy said next, Avie leaned back slightly, and frowned at him. Scrunching up his face in disbelief. Running around and playing was the best fun always. He wondered if this boy like reading and stuff. Some people found that fun, "Do you like reading, or something?" He asked, not wanting to be rude, but he didn't really get why someone his age wouldn't love running around all the time. Avie knew it wasn't for everyone, but surely most loved it. It was strange, this boy in front of him was odd. The slytherin liked it.

Avie continued to frown at the boy, when he said that he shouldn't hit the animals. But, that was half the fun. Half the fun was hitting them. "But, that's half the fun" He shook his head slightly, wondering who he could ask about this dilema he found himself in. He loved throwing rocks, and if they hit animals then that was good too. "You're strange Marcel" Avie smiled at him, taking back the handkerchief back from Marcel and shoving it into his bag. He found clean it later, when he got the chance. He was happy to help his new friend. Although all the talk of the bean room. Avie couldn't help but get giddy with excitement with just the thought of it. He loved sweets. He loved most food, but he loved things that at home he wasn't really allowed. He listened as the other boy explained where it was, and what had happen. Avie was utterly fascinated by this mysterious room, and all he wanted was to find it. "Aaah" He let out a long yell, "That sounds AMAZING" He couldn't believe that sort of room existed somewhere in this school. "We have to look for it. Come on Marcel! We need to find this room again, so we can be bean rich!" He definitely couldn't withhold the excitement from his voice. He loved the idea and loved the fact he might be able to see it. "This school is so incredible." Avie continued to laugh, thinking just of the room. "I wonder what else we could find in this place" Avie laughed again, "Marcel, you and I should go exploring sometime in the future!"

Marcellus looked away for a few seconds, frowning, and then looked back. ''So ice skates are some sort of shoes?'' He was a little bit confused and didn't really know what to say, what was so different about ice skates? Couldn't you just stand on ice with a normal pair of shoes? Or was that too hard to do? ''So those 'ice skates' make you really good on ice? That is.. Kind of interesting actually, please do tell me more about ice skates. Marcellus smiled towards Avie. ''Wait, what? Ice hockey? .. Have I been living in a cave?'' The Hufflepuffer was only more confused by this, he scratched the back of his head and looked back at Avie to answer his question. ''Yeh, I-.. I like reading.'' Marcellus nodded while he spoke.

''Strange? But in a good way, right?'' Marcellus smiled brightly, he liked this kid. Of course they had different opinions about stuff but who hasn't? The feeling of them being friends grew by the minute. ''Ssshhht'' Marcel put his finger on his mouth. ''If you go all nutjob everybody will know it, and whe don't want to have that.'' He looked around him. ''This is going to be our secret, ok?'' The boy looked around again. ''Wait-.. You want to go now?'' Marcellus had a questioning look on his face. ''If you want to go right now, then let's do this- And indeed Av, we should go exploring in the future.'' The smile of the boy grew bigger and bigger.

Avie had never really encountered anyone who had not heard of ice skating. It was funny to him, and a novelty of sorts that he was for once explaining something and not having someone explain it to him. It was funny, "Yeah, they have blades on them, so it's easy to skate. They are like roller blades but for ice, and instead of wheels blades. But essentially the same." He wasn't sure if he was very good at this explaining thing, but Avie was giving it his best shot. He laughed slightly, "Ice hockey, yeah it's like hockey, but on ice. It's a sport!" He added. He honestly had no idea how this person didn't know about ice hockey, but considering he'd just learned that throwing rocks was apparently bad, if it was for targeting at animals. So, maybe it was just one of those things, but in reverse. "I don't think so. I went to muggle school first, that how I learned. Have you been living in a cave? Because I really think that's something you should know?" He said to the boy with a shrug. Before looking at him as he said that he liked reading. Avie could forgive him for that. He knew that some people preferred reading to playing. He had just hoped that this boy would be more like him. Which he maybe wasn't as much. Fun though.

"Definitely in a good way, Marcel" He exclaimed brightly. Of course it was good. He really was happy to have met this boy. When he told him to sshh, Avie, put his hand over his mouth, noise still managing to make it's way through. He could barely contain his excitement. That much was pretty clear. "I'm sorry, but I love sweets. Like so much." He said to him. With his hand still over his mouth. He nodded, but it didn't seem like the right time to tell Marcel that he wasn't very good at keeping secrets. He would later, maybe. He then realised the boy was offering to leave now. Avie, got to his feet instantly. He wanted to re-find this room right at that very moment. "Come on, exploring late, room NOW" He said excitedly as he jumped up and down repeated, "Come on" He grabbed the boys hand and then tugged him until he followed him as he began running towards the castle. Avie was laughing as he ran, glancing back to his new friend as he did so.. "Hurry up" He called, continuing to laugh loudly, he was just so happy.
