Hufflepuff Quidditch Practice Y51 S1

Juniper flew close to Leena in case she needed support.

Not a bludger in sight. Susie shook her head, pressing on.

Leena eyed up Doyle, wondering if she could get past him. Glancing to Juniper, she wondered if the older girl was more likely to score, "Do you want it?" she offered, unsure if she could even throw it in the sky to be honest.

Doyle kept his eyes on the quaffle, waiting to see if the first year would pass the quaffle or not.

Juniper glanced at Leena in horror when she asked if Juni wanted the quaffle. Her first instinct was to scream NO, but something got lost between her brain and mouth as the words came out. "Sure!" That was no good. Juni let go of her broom, ready to take the quaffle if the first year threw it.

Leena looked between Juniper and Doyle, at least if she missed, Juniper could grab it back. She was about to score when Juniper shouted for the Quaffle, and Leena was caught with the ball raised in the air, unsure of which direction to toss it. The first year looked from left to right, caught in the middle of her own predicament. At the last moment she threw it at the older girl, hoping she'd score.

Sofi appeared to be saving her snitch catch for the game against Ravenclaw.

Susie swung at a bludger, hissing through her teeth as the impact sent pain through her wrist. She needed to work on her technique. The bludger flew off uselessly.

Juniper took the Quaffle as it flew to her and went for the hoops, throwing it at them and the Keeper who effectively blocked her shot. Lowering her head in shame Juni glanced at the younger Chaser. "Sorry..." she said over the wind.

"That's okay," Leena smiled at Juni, not wanting her to feel bad. "It's good practice, right!" Leena darted forward, grabbing the ball once it was thrown out again.

Doyle felt a bit bad when he was able to grab the quaffle again. "You're doing great!" he offered but wasn't sure how welcome his encouragement actually was.

Juniper gave a soft smile to Leena, "Yeah I guess so." She said, still feeling like she'd failed but a little less bad. Looking at the keeper she gave him a small smile too, thinking he was being very nice as she continued to fly alongside Leena for support.

Mary Paige kept her eye out for the snitch. It had to be someone around here.

Approaching the hoops again, Leena was doing her best to fly around the Keeper and threw the Quaffle as straight as she could. Unfortunately Doyle seemed to be very good in his position since it didn't go in.

Nox didn't find any bludgers to hit.

Sofi searched near the hoops, keeping out of the way of the chasers.

Tarquin was chasing bludgers and tuning the rest of the world out.

Doyle caught the quaffle before tossing it back into the game with an encouraging look.

Tarquin swang his bat about a bit, not connecting with bludgers.

Something gold caught Sofi's eye and she speed up fast in chase of it.

Tarquin hit a bludger after the seeker, but it went nowhere near.

Henri flew in next to the young chaser as she caught the ball after it was thrown back out.
