The house of boxes was anything but orderly. Cardboard tiled the floors and hid the furniture. In every room there were towers, in danger of toppling at the briefest touch. Estrella's only choice was to order her children outside for the day, accompanied by Abby. The widowed witch doubted she'd be able to function without a nanny. Over the past few months, Abby had been absolutely wonderful, and all four kids loved her. They'd adopted her as a member of the family without question. When Estrella decided to move, she hadn't needed to drop to her knees and beg Abby to follow.

Planting roots somewhere else had become a priority for Estrella. She'd had to accept long ago that her husband was in the ground, never to punch out of his casket and crawl to the surface. The old place was littered with memories that suffocated the witch and left her in limbo. While she was far from being healed, her new dwelling would be a bandage of sorts.

The cottage with four bedrooms and a fenced-in yard was perfect for the family of six- at least, it'd be perfect once Estrella found a home for all the rubbish she owned. This was an all-weekend endeavor. Estrella was clearing her daughters' bedroom now, determined to give them a place to sleep tonight. Toys and clothes poured out of containers and streamed through the air, banished whichever way by the ash, essence of raven feather. One thing Estrella could be proud of was her wandwork. She might not remember Merlin's middle name or how to brew the Forgetfulness Potion, but Estrella's proficiency with charms was unmatched- well, in this household.

Deciding she was more than due for a break, Estrella left her daughters' belongings to hover. Magic was might when it came to chores. The woman descended the short staircase and entered the kitchen. This room too was a mess, but there was a pathway to the refrigerator. There was no sense in denying mouths and stomachs. Summoning a pitcher of lemonade, glasses, and a tray, Estrella made her way outside.

The mad-crawlers Slade and Seth were tearing through the front yard, never wandering too far from Abby. Olivia and Lydia were playing who-knew-what with their toys. The older was waving a fake wand while the younger clutched a stuffed hippogriff. They were too close to the garden for their mother's tastes. She didn't think the previous owner had left any dangerous plants, but hadn't had time to do a thorough search. Herbology had been Jaken's forte, not hers.

"Anyone thirsty?"

Abby knew, the day she had met the Styx kids that she was going to have her work cut out for her. But she'd never expected it to be some much fun. Slade and Seth were like little balls of Plasma, racing around and full of energy. The two girls, were quite a bit more mellow, but that didn't mean that they didn't have their moments. All kids did after all. It was only natural. It was Abby's job to keep the kids out of Estrella's hair. She had been working their for a few months and had just gotten settled when Estrella had decided to move.

Of course Abby had followed along with nothing holding her back. She was like a part of the family. She loved the kids and the kids loved her. Why wouldn't they, she was awesome. Ofcourse she never said it out loud. She only ever said that she loved playing with the kids and keeping them company. She really learned alot from them.

The move is what brought her to the lovely new cottage Estrella had picked. It had reminded her so much of her own home. So she felt right at home when they had all gotten there.

"Oh, I'd love some, thankyou." Abby called grinning as she walked over to where Estrella was standing holding the tray of lemonade. It really was nice lemonade, and very refreshing after a few hours outside with energy filled pre-pubescent children.

"Mmmm, lovely as always. Very refreshing" She sighed as she handed some to the kids. "How goes everything?"
