HNZ Photo Challenge

Hey all!

I spied this game on an image board of sorts that I frequent and there seemed to be some interest for trying it on HNZ: so here it goes!

• Photo challenge parameters are announced - the challenge must be reasonable (ie not "post a photo of Obama flying a jetpack to Mars"). More like "Your cat with a PS3 controller on it's head", or "A photo of the busiest street in your city", or "Someone wearing a helmet in a grocery store"
• The first person to post a photo (UNSHOPPED OR MODIFIED) that reasonably matches the challenge parameters gets to announce the next challenge. -It should also be a photo you've taken. Google images is great, but also spoils some of the fun times to be had.
• Repeat!

With that out of the way, the first challenge is:

A phone wrapped in some sort of paper- I just realized this may require that you take the picture with something other than your phone. I crack myself up sometimes​

The first person to post a photo matching this challenge decides the next one.

I wasn't sure what counted as "odd" so I got the strangest socks I could find, but am also wearing 3 socks. (Technically odd. )

Alright, everybody - let's make something clear: Using Google images to meet a challenge defeats the point of it being a challenge.
Mia actually wrapped a phone in paper.
Donna and I actually put odd socks on our feet.
Cyndi actually saw an ice cream truck.
I actually went to a sign I knew had errors on it to take a picture.[note]This is not an exhaustive list of people who actually took pictures. I know other people in this topic didn't cheat. I know other people in this topic did as well, though.[note]

Images which turn up on the first page of Google images? Cheating.
Images which have the text "printable-coupon" in their title (a strange thing to name a picture you've allegedly taken)? Also cheating.

That said, challenges should be challenging but not impossible. Would most people be able to find a "fluffy white rabbit"? I'm not sure. Most people don't have phones wrapped in paper, either, but they can make it happen to meet the challenge. I don't put three mismatched socks on my feet as a matter of habit, either: but (once again) I made it happen for the challenge (that I was, unfortunately, late for).

So the current challenge of "A photo of something that reminds you of HNZ" can remain - but continued fun spoiling will have consequences. (This isn't a forum game where you have to post and keep the game going. It should be something that goes as people are able to legitimately meet the challenges - as quickly, or not quickly, as that may be.)
