Open History Club Second Ever Meeting!

Emmanuel had sent a note to the few people who were a part of the club, inviting them to come join him. The first real meeting of the year, and he was sure it would be a good one. He had a few more people in the club, and they would certainly have a more interesting discussion. The club was still a little tricky to settle on, but he knew that it would still be good fun for them to do. He had everything out, which wasn't much. Just a table with some of the same book for them to discuss and read. He had noted clubs did events close to what they were about, something fun, but history was itself fun. People had fun learning about history. He was sure Aine would show and hoped the new girl would too. He was sure, too, that Kyon would come to this meeting, but he would let anyone come and join them if they wanted to.

Unofficial history club's first meeting of the semester and second ever meeting! Anyone can come along!

Aine knew it was perhaps a bit cheeky to bring her Ancient Runes work to the history club meeting, but it was kind of a history assignment in a way. Plus, she was interested in hearing the perspective of someone who grew up in the magical world. Emmanuel was a smart boy, and Aine appreciated hearing his thoughts and understandings. He wasn't judgemental about her non-magical background, which was a plus. It just meant they could take different approaches and get a more broad understanding. She had some books of Norse mythology with her, but she put them to the side as she sat at the table, giving a smile. "Hi, Emmanuel," she greeted, giving a half wave and having a look at the book before them. "How's it gping?"

If you'd told Kyon before school he'd be joining a History club, he'd have laughed at you. But, well, he was loyal, and he would follow Emmanuel anywhere. He wasn't even all that late when he rushed in, breathless, smiling at the others as he snagged the seat by Emmanuel. "Hey guys, what did I miss?" He asked, looking around at the other two and what they were doing, trying to get a gauge on what was going on.

Emmanuel was a little worried that no one would turn up, that Aine had found something better to do, but she was the first to appear. He stood up as she greeted him giving a little wave back before sitting back down. "It is good to see you Aine," and there was a deep sincerity in his tone. "Well! I'm hopeful that we'll have a riveting discussion about history. I think we've got four members now including us, so it'll hopefully get interesting. You?" his reply had focused a lot on the club and what they would do but it was how things were going. They weren't waiting long when Kyon joined them, breathlessly. he laughed lightly at the boy, "Nothing yet, we're only just getting started, sit please," he motioned to another chair for Kyon. "Kyon, this is Aine, the other founding member of this club. Aine, this is Kyon," he introduced the pair to the other. ​
