Walking into the gardens was something unexpected for the young Ravenclaw girl. Elysia Styx sat on the ground, with one book in her hand, and a journal next to her, while she was writing in it with her mixture of Bulgarian and Russian, so that no one could possibly read it. There was no reason to be paranoid, but only Lestat and her family could possibly make sense of what she was writing. Then again, not a lot of her family even knew Russian. Elysia did not want to be disturbed, which was why she was tucked into the bushes. One could find her if they looked hard enough, but this was perfect, despite not wanting to be outside. Her silvery green eyes looked over the book she was reading. She was studying, while letting out her inner frustrations about the idiots within the school in her journal. Be damned her father for sending her to this waste of space. Lestat wanted to in a way because of how easy some people were. The Ravenclaw heard some footsteps, and stopped reading. Her eyes peered up to see if someone managed to actually find her spot, hidden back here. She hoped that it was no one that could make her angry. Her hand could only take so much writing. 'Just don't talk to me, and everyone will be fine,' thought Elysia.

Aethlinde Arlett was stuck. There was no other way to describe her situation at the moment but that. She had to wonder what sort of crazy idea entered her mind the moment she even planned to practice climbing trees. Ever since the little situation she had gotten herself into last semester, the young part-veela had been thinking of improving her physical capabilities even by just a fraction. Why tree climbing? It seemed like a good idea at the time. Though right now, she was sorely regretting it. Climbing up the first few branches had been relatively easy compared to the first time she had done it now that she had dressed herself in sweats (that she didn't even know she had until a week ago) and a long-sleeved top. What made it difficult was that now that she was higher up, she would frequently get herself tangled up in a lot of branches and she had difficulty in reaching the sturdier ones that could actually handle her weight. The problem she currently faced, she was a number of feet up in the air, surrounded by branches, and the next branch that could handle her weight was higher up and she would have to reach out and really pull herself up. And she couldn't look down either without getting entangled on the branches either to actually bring herself down from the tree. And she couldn't hug the bark either to just koala-climb her way down. Deciding that she had enough for today and it was probably easier to risk going down than up, the Hufflepuff began her slow descent, frequently entangling her hair and clothes on twigs and leaves and gaining a few minor and scratches. About halfway though, she had lost her footing and with a squeak of surprise, held on to the branch as she dangled up from the tree, though even her hold was slipping. She was still high up and she had no clue what to do. Without any more time to think of the ground, the bushes or the other branches, her hold had slipped and she fell.
