It had been a rather dull day for Kale, he wasn't sure where Bruin or Blake may be hiding which resulted to him having to entertain himself on his own. Tormenting first years had been his activity of choice that day, it was a natural talent to him and Kale couldn't put it to waste. Armed with a bucket of filled water balloons, thanks to his brother Roger, Kale deviously crept out of the boys bathroom. To Kale's advantage, the first corridor was empty, which wasn't much of a surprise. That was one of the least populated locations of campus due to no classrooms were in use one that floor. Kale walked over to one of the windows and with little struggle he forced it open. He looked over the sill and searched for his prey. "Hufflepuffs..." Kale snickered to himself before grabbing one of the filled grenades with care. He noticed a group of Hufflepuffs standing around and conversing animatedly, he thew one of the baseball sized bombs down at the small group. "Heads up!" Kale bellowed while the balloon went soaring down and covering one of the girls with water. He laughed obnoxiously waiting for the girl to look up with a reaction he was craving for.

Violet had been wandering around the school between classes, and had just been talking to a couple of Hufflepuff friends when she felt something land in her hair, covering her with what she hoped was water. She shrieked. Instinctively, her hands flew to her hair, desperately hoping that it wasn't anything worse than water. "What the...?" she gasped, spinning around to see what had caused her to be drenched. She spied an older Slytherin boy, and blushed with a mixture embarassment and humiliation.

No longer able to stand the stuffy area that was her dorm room, Estrella decided to go for a walk, having nothing else to really do. In short, it was an incredibly dull day for her. She didn't want to read, and she had caught up on all of her homework. Her only obligation was dinner, and that was quite a few hours off.

She didn't have an excuse to stride down to the first floor corridor but she embraced the opportunity to stretch her legs anyway, quite glad for the open windows on this lower level, allowing fresh air to filter through her lungs without actually having to step outside. She would resent this fact while going to Potions in winter but for right now she was content.

As she paced down the corridor she stopped, her shoes clacking against the stone floor and suddenly cut off by her abrupt halt. She watched Kale, arm extended, holding a brightly colored water balloon and prepared to vault it. She leaned against the wall, hoping that he wouldn't notice her just yet, smirking as she watched his arm launch back, the balloon disappearing from his hand. She heard a gasp and then Kale's laughter, something she had not heard in a long time. He seemed to be thoroughly enjoying himself. She observed a Hufflepuff girl, she had no idea what her name was, drenched with water, or what she hoped was water.

Smirking, she moved out of the shadows, her voice oiled with sarcasm that was not prevalent to last year's Estrella. At least, it was not sarcasm of malicious intent; she simply found it humorous. Placed in an incredibly good mood today and figuring that she wasn't going to use her prefecture to bust him, she approached him, inquiring, "Bored?"

Zazuka placed a hand on her cheek as she came down the corrior. She ran to Violet though she was holding in a small laugh. Friend or not a water ballon to the head was classic. "Are you Ok Vi?" She asked. Zazuka knew that Vi was more vornable to emberessment than she was. Zazuka looked though her bag. "I know I have something to help dry you off." She said hurryedly.

Kale laughed even harder when the girl shrieked, felt her hair and looked up at him. When a girl her age came to the Hufflepuffs aid, he held his midsection and gasped for air before grabbing two more balloons and throwing them down, hoping that he would hit one or more of the standing targets. The girl he hit first his main target. He found complete joy in getting attention, especially from people he didn't know. Kale looked below and waited to see if the girls were intelligent to move from where they were.

Zazuka was smart but she also had a slight vengful streek in her. She also had practiced taking out her wand quickly enough. "Depulso!" She cryed to banish the water ballon coming close to her. She also made sure to try and make it go back to where it came from.

Despite Violet's humiliation, she couldn't help but laugh herself. "I'm okay, Z..." she began, but shrieked again when more water balloons were thrown towards her, one of them hitting her on the shoulder. She gave the boy a defiant glare, wishing she had weapons of her own to retaliate with, and stepped backwards.

As the Ravenclaw girl performed a charm, it repelled the water grenade to bounce back up towards Kale in the window, he was in the process of grabbing a couple of other balloons until he felt something smack him across the face. He laughed, as the water splashing at his face and all over his Slytherin hoodie. The water to the face resulted to him dropping the other two balloons that were in his hands and onto the floor near Estrella's feet. He hadn't heard her greeting through his fit of laughter and looking down at the other girls. Kale turned around and with a surprised expression looked at Estrella, she looked different. Not as cold and angry as she looked the previous year, she appeared to be amused. "Oh, uhh, hey." Kale said with a smirk before looking down at the girls for a quick second, the Hufflepuff was smart enough to back up. "Ah, bugger. Can't get her anymore." he said to himself before turning toward Estrella, "Wanna try?" Kale inquired to Estrella, holding a fairly large water balloon in his left hand.

Estrella was quite taken aback by Kale's reception to her greeting; she had expected a bit of coldness at least. They hadn't exactly gotten off on the right foot last year, especially with Kaela being his girlfriend and all. She was even more surprised by his offer to let her join in the fun. "Why Kale, how ever could you suggest such a thing?" she started with an evil grin, raising her voice so that the other girls in the corridor could hear her, "Me being a prefect and all." With a slight wink in his direction she held her wand close to her body so that it could not be easily seen, flicking a swelling balloon in the girl's direction.

Violet felt somewhat relieved when an older girl seemed to be accosting the boy, and not wishing to participate. She was almost about to say something - she didn't know what, but something - when she saw a balloon fly towards her. The boy and girl hadn't moved, so one of them must have charmed it or something. Gasping and spluttering, she moved quickly to the wall to avoid being hit. Luckily for her, the balloon missed.

Kale couldn't help but let a small smile creep onto the corners of his mouth. He watched at the balloon flung out of his hands and went barreling out of the first floor window. Kale looked to see if it hit anyone, with a sigh he moved his eyes back to Estrella, "Missed." he said with a laugh while putting the bucked of water bombs on the stone floor. Kale would wait to throw any other over the edge until new unsuspecting victims were standing in the wrong place at the wrong time. Kale turned to Estrella after placing the balloons on the stone ground with care. "What brings you up here?" he asked her with a hint of curiosity in his voice. At the end of the previous year he hadn't seen Estrella around school much, he was happy to see that she didn't look like she had before or like she wanted to punch him. It was different to see her that way, refreshing. He offered her a small smile, standing and still peering out the window occasionally.

Estrella's dark eyes fell on Kale, a glint of amusement present in her pupils. Her expression seemed lighter, much happier than the scrunched up one of anger and contemplation that she had harbored last year. She watched as the balloon missed, breaking with a spatter of water onto a wall below them. Her mood absolutely elated, having expected a hostile reaction from Kale, she replied, "Boredom. You know. There's not much to do today. Figured I'd go for a walk to the gardens or something." She smirked, not sure what else to say.

"Ah, you and me both." Kale said with a smile while looking out from the window again. He snickered when he saw another first year standing around, not even an ounce of suspicion showing with the puddles of water around her. Kale looked at Estrella before grabbing for another balloon. "Wanna drench the innocent, little first year down below?" he gestured with a devious smile, holding two water bombs in his hands so they could both make an attack at the same moment. Kale found it cool that he and Estrella didn't seem to be butting heads like they had been a couple of months before.

Estrella's smile twisted into a small frown- she knew that this was something that she should not be doing as a prefect. But a little voice in her mind egged at her to loosen up; no one would be getting hurt, a little startled was all. And if a Professor ran into them- well, she would cross that bridge when she got to it. Considering the number of staff in the school it was highly unlikely that they would get caught, but there was always the chance.

Ah, screw it, she thought to herself as she snagged a luminscent balloon in her hand, clutching it and squishing it a bit, feeling the water sloshing inside. With a sly grin towards Kale she chucked it towards the first year, quickly leaning against the wall so that anyone looking up to the window wouldn't be able to see her. She at least couldn't hurt her reputation as a prefect with the students. Hopefully a Professor wouldn't be coming down this hallway anytime soon.

Her expression brightened as she observed the smile on his face, quite glad that she had seemed for once to say or do something right. Fourth year had been intensely cloudy and oppressive for her; but now was the beginning of a new era. "I agree, being bored is the ultimate suck. Did you have a good summer?" she inquired with a grin, picking up yet another balloon, taking a quick glance to see if she had gotten the first year.

Zazuka put her hands to her lips in a silent laugh when she saw that waterballon had pop but then steped back when more ballons came thier way. She was lucky enough to be able to doge with only wet shoes. Then again she really liked her bright orange convers the had been waring that day. She looked back in her back and took out a muti-colored ball. "I knew I had it. This is a wizarding take on a Muggle contraption." She said then thought about it. "Well that phrase would really depend on who invented it first. It could be the other way around you know..." She said then casually taped the ball with her wand. With a pop it expanded into a large beach towl. Zazuka carryed it around with her just in case she felt like taking a swim at the lake but this situation would do as well. "Here you can use it." She said then made to drape the towle over Violet's sholders.

It was hard to surpass a laugh when Estrella was rebelling against her Prefect duties. She should have punished Kale the moment he saw the water balloon being thrown out the first floor window. Kale smirked at Estrella, "Almost..." he said after peering out of the window. It didn't seem like she was having much luck with hitting the kids. "I think you would have more of a chance if you looked for you actual target." Kale laughed before stepping away from the window. It seemed like other kids were finding out about their devious tricks so it was time to switch windows, maybe even floors.

"Meh, just like all the other summers." he told her simply with a shrug, not really feeling much of a need to go into complete detail. Estrella didn't really care anyway, right? "Morgan asked about you." Kale said while aimlessly swinging the bucket of filled water bombs over his head. He started to walk down the corridor, looking for a new window where his next innocent target may be.

Kale sat on the sill of one of the windows before cracking it open, the hinges on the window making a stressful sound, "How was yours?" he inquired with sincere interest. He really did hope that she did have any crazy run ins with her father or grandfather, knowing that she did have a rather eccentric history with past summers.

Estrella smirked as she pressed herself against the wall, reveling in the feeling of cold stone against her cheek. Her eyes bright, she replied, "Well, my aim may be crud but I've still got to be cautious, you know?" She grinned, knowing that she could get herself into some serious trouble if she was caught not reprimanding Kale for slugging first year's with balloons. It was a rather harmless prank, but you could never underestimate what extremes professors would go to in this school.

"That's good," she stated, shrugging a bit as she followed Kale to another window, still trailing against the wall. "Yeah? What did she ask?" She smiled, feeling a bit guilty that she had not written a letter to Morgan in a long time.

She halted for a moment as he asked her how her summer was, biting her lip. How much should she really tell him? Not that Sophia had left, of course. She knew that he probably already knew she was gone but she didn't exactly want to recollect the circumstances. "It was- alright," she stated slowly, "Nothing exciting really." Yeah, except Sophia and I losing our abilities. "Not much to do when you're stuck at home with a grandfather who's working the majority of the time."

Andromeda came back from the quidditch pitch with a huge smile on her face. She had just saved six out of seven goals that morning in a practise session and was walking on cloud 7,8,9 and a couple of more. There was no one who could get her down today, no meeting with Brian, no homework assignment that she couldn't handle. This was a really good day, the sun was shining and if she listened hard enough there were birds singing. She smiled and began to hum a crazy tune she had heard when she was a kid, an old muggle Disney classic 'whistle while you work', she threw her broom over her shoulder and walked with a spring in her step back to the castle.

Their were plenty out and about on the lawn and gardens it was such a lovely day. Andromeda thought it was like some kind of movie, everything was perfect. So absolutely perfect. All she needed was for her mother to finally write to her. Deciding to keep to the path that wound its way around the front of the school instead of walking across the grass as she usually did, she continued smiling and humming to herself. Stopping for a moment when she head a strange creaking sound Andromeda looked about and then upwards. A small window up ahead had just been opened. Well on a warm day like this, it was amazing that all the windows hadn't been opened.

Upon opening the window, Kale peeked his head out when he had heard a feminine whistle from down below, he didn't recognize the tune but the girl did sound at ease; and he was prepared to ruin it for his own personal entertainment. When he looked down to see who it was, he recognized the girl, he remembered seeing her on the quidditch pitch on a few different occasions. Even though she was far from an acquaintance of his, not knowing or remembering her name if they formerly met. Kale turned toward Estrella, with a somewhat giddy expression, "Our next target is right under us...would you like to take the honor?" he inquired gesturing to the filled bucket on the stone floor, momentarily holding their current conversation at a stand still.

Estrella noticed that their conversation had been cut, peering around the wall and seeing the girl that Kale had pointed out. A sense of responsibility was attempting to tie her down at this very moment, but her wild side dominated, resolving that she needed to let loose every once in a while if she was ever going to retain good relationships. Grinning wickedly, she nodded to Kale, kneeling down and clutching a balloon in her hand. The act was entirely immature, but quickly hiding again she chucked the balloon to the ground floor, attempting to pelt the girl with it. She heard it explode upon impact, not sure if it had hit the girl or if she had failed miserably again.

She grinned upon turning to Kale. "You know, this school could really use a poltergeist or something." Her brow furrowed a bit as she added, "And we should move every once in a while- a Professor's apt to catch on eventually." She knew that she did not want to be around while that happened, no matter how much fun she was having. She did not want to be the prefect caught in a state of mere childishness.

Andromeda stopped momentarily to remove her sweater and tie it around her waist. It all seemed to happen in seconds, one minute she was tying her sweater around her waist the next something heavy had hit her head and water seemed to gush every where. Her only gut reaction first was to stand with her mouth hanging open as the cold water soaked down her hair and into her shirt. Eventually again merely seconds passing, she had the sense to look up the same time as her free hand instinctively went to her head to peel what resembled a burst balloon from her hair.

"Hey up there!" she shouted to the open window, so much for the idea that someone was feeling the heat, well she certainly wasn't anymore and she really wasn't under any illusion that whoever it was would actually answer her. Well belly up went her great day, dripping wet and her good mood vanishing slightly she decided to investigate.

Probably a bunch of first years having their fun, she really couldn't imagine anyone else doing it. Typical that she hadn't learnt any drying spells yet or heat spells.

Estrella snickered as she heard the girl's yell, her face flushing as she looked to Kale. "Time to go?" she stated, noticing that this would not look good considering a Professor could be here at any moment. She felt pretty bad, the girl looked like she had been having a rather good day and now she had ruined it. She started to inch towards the end of the corridor, wondering if Kale would follow suit. She didn't care if he stayed but she would rather she had company, and she would feel quite bad if he got caught. The girl looked like she was coming to investigate anyways.

Kale couldn't hold back an obnoxious laugh when he peered out the window after investigating where the balloon had fallen. The Gryffindor was standing, soaking wet from the balloon Estrella had thrown. "Good throw." he mused, offering Estrella a wink. "Hey, you down there! Maybe you should watch where you're walking next time." Kale bellowed, it took all that he had to keep his expression serious.

When Estrella began to drift toward the end of the corridor, Kale followed a few steps behind, leaving the bucket of balloons where they were so he wouldn't look suspicious. "What was I saying before?" he inquired to her slapping his forehead, he lost track of his thoughts in the middle of their attack.

Estrella grinned as Kale's laughter met her ears; she hadn't heard him laugh like that in a long time. Not even when he was with Kaela. A smile broke out of her face, her dark eyes glinting with amusement as she watched him make his statement, bellowing out the window. She was quite amazed that he could keep a straight face during all of that. "Yeah, I suppose it was a good throw-" she stated quietly, her voice trailing off as she followed Kale. It was smart of him to leave the buckets behind; at least then he wouldn't look entirely suspicious should they run into a Professor. And, her being a prefect would help the situation if they were to run into any investigators.

She grinned slyly as she looked back to him, falling into his stride, which was hard to do considering he was so much taller than her, and her legs were quite shorter. "Well, it was something about the summer. And I told you about mine." She shrugged, not caring much anyways- she was glad to be on speaking terms with Kale, let alone joking.

Kale turned to Estrella, he was relieved that it seemed like they were enjoying each others company. He did feel bad about the previous year and all that happened. Kale always did care about her, how couldn't he? He knew her for too long not to. He continued to walk side by side with Estrella down the corridor, Kale remembered how he towered over her before; Kale did even more now. He smiled at Estrella before scratching his head, looking to be deep in thought. "Ohhh, Morgan!" he said with a finger pointing up in the air. "Yeah, she basically asked how you were doing and she said something about wanting to hang out with you. It sounded like she was going to write to you or something.." Kale shrugged. With all honesty, he never listened to his older sister close enough to get what she was saying. Everything went in one ear and out the other, same with his mother...in some situations.

With a hand running through his ashy blond hair, Kale continued to walk with Estrella. Their footsteps echoed through the vacant corridor as they headed down the staircase that led toward the lawn. He kept in mind that taking the route where he was just dropping the water bombs was not a good idea. Just in case one of the girls recognized them. "So, you excited for quidditch this year?" he asked with a light tone, his expression carefree and content.
