Eugene had thought it would be an amazing idea to spread love and kindness with roses. His last school had never done anything like this, and he felt like ti was such a good idea, how better to celebrate this sort of day with those acts of kindness and appreciation. He knew his mother would've loved a day like this, so there had been no question about him signing, about him sending all the roses he could. The one problem he was now facing was that he didn't know many people. He was in the great hall, and someone had said the person he was looking for was a ravenclaw, "Delilah Thorne?" he was asking to people as he made his way up the ravenclaw table, under his breath with every person he asked, he was humming the old song.

Somehow coming to the great hall was starting to feel like a mistake after being cornered again and again for roses. Delilah found her first spare moment and started to eat quickly before she had to leave again. But it felt like no time had past until she heard her name being called yet again. With one hand covering her mouth, she raised the other in an attempt to flag down who was looking for her.

Eugene noticed the hand go up and so he bounded over to the girl, "hey there Delilah," he resisted the urge to continue knowing he would almost definitely sing and he had to assume she was tired of hear that. "I have a rose for you!" he took out the yellow rose and the note and held them both out to her.

Happy Valentine's Day,
Have a good day!

Ivy

Delilah smiled warmly as the younger boy greeted her and she wondered if he was a first year like her brother. "Thank you!" she said once she finally swallowed her bit of food. She took the note and read it quickly and grinned when she noticed Ivy had written her more than the minimum happy valentine's message. "Good luck with your deliveries."
