This had to be a good idea, Renata thought, wiping her brow as she looked over the tables one last time. Everyone liked food. Plus, it was a chance to dress up, which she was sure Gwen would be pleased about, it didn't involve the boys which meant less chance for something going wrong, and overall would just be something kind of nice. There were a few tables set up that were decorated fairly simply with plain tablecloths and some flowers. Each place setting had a name card, and sisters were seated together in order to make the pairings. There were simple sandwiches and cupcakes mostly, with tea and juice for everyone. Perhaps it wasn't the most grand high tea that had ever been put on, but Renata thought it would just be a nice afternoon for the girls - food, chat, and no study.

Checking her dress again to ensure she hadn't gotten coated in dust from the setup (even with magic, it was a risk) she watched as people began to arrive, greeting them and guiding them to seats. She wasn't going to really bother with any speeches or anything this time. It was as informal as a formal afternoon tea could be.

OOCOut of Character:
Feel free to godmod re seating, the only stipulation I have is that big and little sisters are together! If you'd like to share what your character's wearing I'd love to see but of course, no pressure! Thanks for being part of Heta Omega this year!

As much as Aurora welcomed a break from her studying, she could admit she wasn't too pleased to do this now. She was getting close to the end of the semester and trying to really focus on her studies, passing these exams would decide which NEWTs she would be allowed to take and she had to be good at them. The Gryffindor however had been dragged out of the dorm by her sister and was just going along with it, knowing it was easier than fighting her sister on it. She was wearing a summer dress, and found her spot at one of the tables, next to her little sister and thankfully still next to her actual sister. When her informal sister sat down she greeted her. "Hi, hows your semester going?"

Rosie had thought that an afternoon tea would be the perfect way to spend their time, so of course she had dragged her sister out of the darkness of the dorm and to the gardens for it. Rosie had picked their dresses and everything, going for something a little more formal but still light and fun. She glanced at how things were set up and thought they were super cute. She was excited to see her sister and smiled warmly at them as they sat. "Hi,"

Savannah wasn't sure she saw the merit of an afternoon drinking tea in the gardens, but she was still trying to be a bit inolved, so she had found herself at it. The fact that she'd have to spend the time with her appointed little sister wasn't something she was particularly eager for, but she also had brought a book with her. Not a school book, but something fun to read, so the leader couldn't exactly be annoyed with her for it.

Friday was always content to be distracted from work she didn't want to do, so she was very happy when some club events started happening again. She noted as she arrived that people were sitting in the big sister, little sister pairings, and Friday wasn't so enthralled by that. She found her seat and just began helping herself to tea, leaving it up to her 'sister' to be the one to do the talking.

Apolline was happy to go to another club even and was eager to see the gardens again. The weather was turning and she didn't go outside nearly as often as she wanted to. Apolline had put on a nice dress, but felt quite casual next to some of the other girls. She found her name and sat down and noticed the name next to hers was her 'big sister'. She didn't mind this, but Molly was the head girl, Apolline didn't want to say the wrong thing.

The gardens were pretty nice, Aroha thought. She wasn't sure about dressing up - she just put on her somewhat ill-fitting maroon dress she'd worn to the Yule ball and hoped that'd do. She had had no idea what high tea was, so she was surprised when she saw it wasn't just tea - there were cupcakes and sandwiches too. Aroha dug in straightaway, taking a sandwich and enjoying it immensely. It was pretty good. She waited for her big sisters, wondering how they were getting on. She hadn't really made friends with them yet, which she thought was a shame, and hoped they didn't find her annoying or something. Which would be stupid, because Aroha was cool. She happily munched away, filling her cup with some tea as well to wash it all down.

Margo had loved the idea of a tea party for the next Heta event the moment Renata suggested it. She thought it sounded like the perfect way to spend an afternoon. It helped that the school’s garden was one of her favorite places. She’d been dealing with a mix of emotions the past few weeks and she figured throwing herself into planning the event would help keep her sane. So far it was working but now the day had come and she felt proud of what they had put together. She walked around one last time as the girls started to arrive to make sure everything was going smoothly before finding her seat. Isadora wasn’t there yet but she found her little sister at their assigned table enjoying the food. “Hello! There you are.” Margo said warmly as she sat down next to the younger girl. “I hope the food is good. What do you think?” she asked curiously. @Aroha Blenheim

Aroha smiled widely as the older student joined her. "The food's great! You should try some," Aroha said enthusiastically. "I've never been to a high tea before, it's pretty cool. Want any tea?" Aroha offered. She was in a good mood; food tended to do that to her, but her also enjoyed a nice cup of tea every now and then. Something she'd picked up from her parents. "Can't believe the year's nearly over," Aroha continued. "Not long now before it's break again." Not that Aroha wasn't looking forward to that; she'd get to see her family again. But Hogwarts was pretty cool, and she knew she'd miss it too.

Leah wasn't very excited for the day's Heta event. She liked tea but parties like this just reminded her of a hundred other boring afternoons she had spent with her mother in a scratchy dress that made her uncomfortable. At least being at school had freed her from a lot of those kinds of parties now that she was older. But it was still hard to shake the invisible presence of her mother telling her to sit up straight and only take one sandwich at a time. As if to shake the feeling she loaded up her plate and added an extra spoonful of sugar in her cup. She had been in a bit of a mood when she had arrived and hadn't even bothered to greet her little sister. Now she looked up and tried to find the other girl.

Margo smiled warmly at the younger girl when she seemed to approve of the food and offered to pour her some tea. "Yes please, I would love some." she said politely before grabbing a sandwich for herself at the same time. "I've never been to a high tea either." she admitted. Renata and Gwen had taken lead as the president and social chair so she was mostly in charge of making sure the things they needed got done. She nodded in agreement when Aroha mentioned how quickly the year was going. "I guess so." she said in agreement. "It goes by so fast when you keep busy." she added distractedly before looking to the younger girl. "Do you have plans for when you're home?" she asked before taking a bite. @Aroha Blenheim
