Mark was woken up in the morning by sun light streaming in through the bedroom window. He was not used to this any more seeing as he had black out curtains in his own room but he could not complain much, after sharing a room with Amy Mark was feeling quite happy and ready to face the day. It had been a while since he had actually been with a girl that he liked, the last girl had been Alana but he had not seen her in months so this was really something nice for him.

Standing up out of the bed Mark shivered slightly, coming out of the warmth of the bed and out in to the chilly room was a big temperature change for him so he quickly walked out of the room and headed for his. Everything was quiet so he guessed that everyone was still asleep. He snuck in to his bedroom, careful not to wake Logan and as quietly as he could he got dressed. Once done Mark walked back to the room where Amy was so he could wait for her to wake up

Amy had had a really nice time with Mark. They had chatted for a while, and it was nice to chill out with a friend. But Amy had started to view Mark in a way slightly stronger than friendship though. Wondering if he felt the same, she decided to wait until he said something before mentioning it and making a fool out of herself if it was only her. She had slept well that night in the comfy bed, relaxed and not hearing the strange sounds that came from different places in a hotel. The whirring of the machinery, the clicking of the lift etc...

Stretching out, she smiled up at the ceiling as she remembered where she was. She was wearing pyjama shorts and a t-shirt. Sitting up, she ran a hand through her hair, removing it from her eyes. The sun was shining outside and it looked to be a nice day. Looking around the room sleepily, she yawned and caught sight of Mark sitting in the room. "Morning." She said with a sleepy smile, her eyes shining brightly and her beauty still radiating even though she was tired. The sunlight caught off her face and showed the tanned, smooth skin. Her eyes sparkling and her hair arranged in random curls around her face.

As like any other time when he had just woken up all Mark wanted to do was get back in to his comfy bed and go back to sleep but he was not the lazy sort to do that and if he had been alone he would have gone out for a jog or just done some working out, a pass time which he often did to keep very much in good shape. Since he depression a while back he had found exercise such a good solution to getting rid of stress and not he made sure to work out everyday to some extent to stop himself from getting too stressed about things.

Running his hand through his hair mark set on sorting it out properly, he needed a shower this morning before he did anything. As he heard Amy's voice greeting him the teenager looked down at her with a smile. "Morning sleepy head. Sleep well?" He asked quietly. As he had just woken up his voice had not quite worked itself out yet and he would need a few more sentences before he was back to normal once more.

Amy smiled and nodded. Closing her eyes a few times, she smiled again. "Yeh. Its was great thanks. Oh, i was wondering, is there a shower round here?" She asked, laughing slightly at the randomness of the situation. She felt weird if she didn't have a shower in the mornings, but didn't want to be so rude in asking earlier the night before as an extra shower. Getting out of the bed, she stood up for a moment, trying not to get a head rush of blood that she normally got when she got up too quickly. Lifting her head again, she ran her hand through her hair and smiled at him. "How did you sleep?" She asked, only half paying attention to the going conversation.

Mark marvelled at her beauty, even when she had just woken up she was amazing but he wasn't seeing her veela side, seeing as he too was part veela he didn't tend to notice such things when he looked at her. Even if she was normal he would find her pretty. "yeah its to the left of this door and at the very end of the hall. If you leave it running when you get out because il have one while your sorting yourself out in here." He said watching her get out of bed. He stood up and walked out of the door, picking up a towel which was over the banister and walking back in to the room. "Here you go. I slept fine as well thanks." He said to her in answer to her question

Amy smiled again and took the towel. Mentally repeating the instructions to herself she walked down the hall, grabbing her bag as she went. She smiled at him quickly and threw a random wink in as she left the room. Opening the door cautiously to check she had the right room, she smiled and walked in. Locking the door behind her, she placed her bag down and chose her outfit for the day. Deciding on a simple black top and her designer jeans, she quickly slipped out of her pyjamas and turned the shower on. The warm water poured down her back and she methodically washed her long dark hair.

5 minutes later, she stepped out of the shower and wrapped her towel around her. Quickly drying, she removed the towel and used it to put up her hair in a turban. She dressed, taking extra time to see what she looked like and decide on how her top fitted her. Her slender figure seemed to radiate from her top and she smiled at the effect. Looking around, she towel dried her hair and hoped that Riley's wife owned a hairdryer or someone could do a spell to dry it quickly. Smirking at the stupidity of it all, she realised that because she spent so long at muggle hotels, she was just used to using a hairdryer. Perhaps one day, she would learn or makeup a spell to do it easily...

10 minutes after she had entered the shower room, Amy left the room. She smiled at Mark in the corridor and returned to her room to replace her bag. Putting it down on the bed, she went over to the window and looked out of it, surveying the view. Waiting for Mark, she let random thoughts about everything go into her mind and then leave it again.

Mark couldn't help but smirk slightly when Amy winked at him, it made her look hot well more than she already looked normally. As she walked out of the room and in to the bathroom Mark sighed at the quietness of the room. Taking a seat back on the edge of the bed he laid back and closed his eyes again. He wondered if he should ask her out or something. He did like her and he knew as well as anyone that part veela's never really stayed single for long and he did not want to waste too much time in case he missed out on her.

When Amy left the bathroom Mark stood up and headed in to the hallway so he could go in and catch a quick shower. Giving her a smile he took out a dry towel from the cupboard and walked in to the bathroom and switched on the shower. After around ten minute he turned the shower off and dried himself and put on his clothes again and headed back to the room. Towel drying his hair as he walked in to the bedroom he sat back on the bed and put the damp towel on the floor and looked at Amy. "So any plans for today?" He asked wondering if she had anything in mind as far as today's activities were concerned

Amy smiled at Mark as he returned. Thinking for a moment, she smiled. "Well, i don't mind. Its up to you, you're the tour guide after all. But did you mention a waterfall or something?" She asked with a smile on her face. As she spoke, she wondered what she meant to Mark. From the sound of the conversation the other night, it sounded as if he had recently broken up with his girlfriend, and she wondered how many other girlfriends he had had. Whether she was just another one or whether she meant something to him. Thinking back to her previous relationships, she hoped that she wouldn't be just another girl. Something seemed to have clicked between the two of them and she smiled inwardly, hoping that her instinct was correct on this occasion.

it took mark a second to think about what amy was talking about. as he had just woken up he was still a little slow on the intake and would need another hour before he was fully awake once more. "Oh yeah its about a fifteen, twenty minute walk through the forest. its pretty nice to look at." he said returning her smile as he thought about where it was that he would be taking her now. he hoped that she liked it, he certainly did that was for sure. standing up and stretching he looked at the girl sharing his room and began to talk. "if you want i can make us something to eat. i dont know about you but im totally in the mood for a bacon and sausage sandwich right now." he remarked with a big grin on his face as he spoke about food.

Mark smiling made Amy smile. Now, it was uncontrollable and she felt like laughing at the randomness of it all. It was pretty early and she was surprised at how awake she was even though she was tired. Wondering about the waterfall still, she nodded. "Yeh, that sounds great." She said, her mouth instantly watering as the reflex action when someone mentioned food. She looked up at Mark and saw that he was grinning. It was a nice smile though, for Amy found that it was incredibly hard for veelas to make a smile look strange. Smiling again at his smile, she wondered what had gotten into her. She felt different, different around Mark. Perhaps it was the house, having not stayed in another guy's house before in those circumstances. Perhaps it was the kindness of the whole family. But Amy knew that however great these things were, it was something more than that. And now, she was starting to get the feeling that it was Mark....

(OOC: So many smiles :p )

(mark smiled in a smiling fashion. the best smile which he had ever smiled before) xD thats a lot of smiling :r

mark was happy to hear that she approved of his breakfast plans. then again he did not know anyone who would turn down such an offer of food, he knew he certainly would not in a million years. just like his cousin Mark had a monster appetite and could eat for new zealand. "Well thats breakfast and plan of action part one sorted out. im happy with that so far. we can just make the rest up as we go along i think, it is the best way after all." he said as he opened the door and hung the damp towel over the top so that it could dry better instead of it being screwed up in a ball on the floor. "shall we head down stairs then. before riley wakes up and scrans all of the food." he joked with a chuckle as his eyes shone when he looked at her, happy to be in her company. he was certainly glad he had met her, he was starting to feel like how he had for alana but stronger he had a better feeling about amy. that she would not hurt him like his past love interests had done.

(OOC: haha :p you win :D )

Amy smiled ( :p ) and nodded, following Mark out of the room. Hanging her towel next to his, she checked her wand was in her back pocket before continuing where they were going. Unsure of what else to say until anything else happened, she just nodded quickly and smiled again as his eyes shone. There was something about half-veela boys, everyone knew that the females had the charm and the men only had good looks, but something about the way they acted made Amy smile. They treated everyone with respect from what she knew, and also seemed to appreciate that however good they looked, guys should only have one girl at a time. It was almost as if other, normal guys, seemed to feel the need to have more than one girlfriend to prove their 'good looks.' Smirking at the idea, she reminded herself that she wasn't Mark's girlfriend. Yet.

As the teenager walked out of the room and through the hall he stole a glance at Amy. Even tough he was Veela it didn't make her seem any less amazing to him, she was still beautiful in his eyes even if she didn't not have the trait. "You wanting a tea or anything? I think we could have Butterbeer in the fridge if you want some more of that." He said as he reached the stairs and slowly walked down them with her. He still found her reaction to butterbeer yesterday was pretty funny. He had never known anyone act like that towards a drink they liked although in her favour it had been her first taste of the drink and it was pretty nice stuff

Amy didn't catch the glance that was sent her way, but if she had of done, she would have been very pleased. Still walking, they reached some stairs and she began her descent with Mark, both of them walking slowly to chat as they went. The house seemed a little like that as well, everyone going slowly and relaxed to enjoy the time spent doing things. When she had been at home with her family, it had always been a mad rush to get out somewhere to meet someone. It had made Amy a rushed person, someone who felt the need to make sure she was finished and ready to leave before someone had a go at her. So, as she walked down the stairs with the nice guy she had met, she smiled again, pleased at the pace of this house in which she now found herself. Only catching the second half of his question, she smiled and nodded. "Yes please. The butterbeer sounds lovely." She said, her eyes lighting up and dancing in the morning light. Remembering her encounter with the drink, just the last night, she smiled again, eager to continue the experience.

Things were running smoothly, not how he would have expected them to go seeing as he had only met this girl yesterday and had just now shared a room with her. They seemed to have clicked on a different level to which he was used to, he was thinking of different ways to ask her out in his mind. He may as well get it over with seeing as he liked her and he would not loose anything if she didn't want to date him they could just forget that it happened and move on. Simple. "Okay Butterbeer it is but it will cost you something." He said with a half smile as they reached the bottom of the stairs. He turned to face her as he waited for her answer. He wondered if the way he was planning to do it would work or if it would just put her off completely. He hoped not seeing as it was nothing major or anything like that.

Amy stopped walking as they reached the bottom of the stairs and Mark also stopped. She was standing a step above him but was still only slightly smaller than him. She found that on most occasions her small height made guys feel superior to her and sometimes this helped, other times it didn't. Ignoring this fact now, she raised her eyebrows at the question/request. This was a new one for her, and she had an idea where it was going but she couldn't be sure. "Yes, and what is zis somezing?" She asked, her French accent back for a reason she couldn't explain. Boys had asked things of her before, and to be honest, she was vaguely embarrassed with how far she had gone with a certain few within 24 hours of meeting them. But Mark didn't seem like that sort of 'one-night stand' guy, so she felt a growing trust for him begin. For now though, she could only wait and see what the 'something' was.

Mark was very aware that they were close to each other, him being in front of the step which she was stood on. Taking in to account the number of girls he had gotten in his life time Mark was not too good with them any more. When he had been in Durmstrang he had been a total toy boy who had had every girl worth having but after his depression he had seriously lost his touch but he had a slight feeling that Amy may like him. Or at least he was praying to Merlin that she did or else this was going to go seriously wrong. "A kiss." He said trying to sound confident like he had done this a million times, he was however unsure of how confident he had sounded but hopefully that would not natter much to her, or at least again he was hoping it would not. He shifted his weight on to his left leg as he waited for her answer to his request.

Amy smiled at the question. Mark was a nice guy and she didn't think him too forward. No, some people had been way different to that. Pausing for a second as if to think about her response she smiled. "Of course you can have that request sir." She said with another smile. But, Amy wouldn't kiss him, no, that was the guys first move. Wondering what this question actually was asking, she just smiled and waited. Would it be a short kiss? Would it be a passionate long kiss? Unsure of what to expect, she waited for the surprise of the final result. Laughing slightly at the formality of it all but the 'sweetness' of the way he had asked, she smiled a veela smile, her face glowing with elegance. Mark sounded confident to Amy and she wondered how many other girls he had kissed. Perhaps she was just another one... but something inside screamed out that she didn't want to be 'just another girl'. No, she wanted to be 'the girl'.

A feeling of self satisfaction over took his body as she agreed to his request of a kiss. It showed that she must have liked him enough to say yes, otherwise she would have turned him down. It was a good sign to him. Good enough to be able to try and push his luck today and see how far she would go with him, whether this would be a one off or if they would be kissing more as the day went on. The teenager knew which one he liked the sound of best. As she was stood on a step above him he was just about the same height as her, taking a step forward he place his hand on her cheek and leaned in to kiss her. Closing his eyes as he sunk in to the kiss. If this could be their last one then he was going to make it last and be worth while. He had been told by other girls that he was a good kisser so he would make sure to do this right. It felt good to be kissing a girl after so long of not being able to. It always made him feel good about himself knowing that he was wanted by another person.

After a minute or so went by Mark pulled away, hoping he had impressed her with his kissing skills. He had to catch his breath before talking again. "So breakfast." He said with a light laugh. He had been put in a good mood now, well a better mood anyway seeing as he had already been in a good mood to start off with this morning. Heading to the kitchen once more Mark busied himself with getting all the pans out and such which eh would need when cooking for the two of them

Amy stood there, watching Mark as he moved forward and kissed her. She smiled and kissed him as he kissed her, relaxing into the sensation. As they broke apart she felt her heart beating in a strange way - one unlike she had ever felt before. Confused by the feeling, she didn't say anything, just smiled and watched as he went to the kitchen. Finishing her last few steps of the stairs, she walked into the kitchen after him, feeling in a trance. Smiling at him, she leaned against the counter of the kitchen and watched as he got out all the cooking equipment. Still dazed by the kiss, she tried to work out what had been different and why she felt different. It was almost as if everything she had ever worried about was just lifted off her and thrown away. Breathing deeply to herself and calming her irregular heart pattern, she smiled and finally answered his comment. "That would be lovely." She whispered, her face calm and her smile bright but soft.

The cooking did not take him long, it was only a simple fry up so everything took only a few minute to cook. Mark cooking skills were not that bad but he liked to stick to simple things just in case he over estimated himself. He did not want to make Amy sick before he had gotten a leg in the door. Right now he was up to his foot and hopefully he could get a lot further during the day but he was not going to rush things. His past relationships had been rushed and they had not ended well, he did not want this potential one to go the same way. Unless she was okay with it he would not do anything.

Placing the food on a plate then passing it to her he smiled. "Here you go, enjoy." He said opening a draw which had the knives and folks in. Mark began on his own breakfast, enjoying the taste of a hot meal in the morning. He had just been having cereal recently so had gotten used to that, it was a welcome change for him to have a fry up. Just like cooking it, eating it did not take long for the teenager to do he was soon finished and putting his empty plate in the sink. "Well i feel a lot better after that. Its been a while since i last had a hot breakfast." He said pouring himself a glass of orange juice. "Want a glass?" He asked hinting at the orange juice to see if she wanted a drink too

Watching as the cooking was done efficiently, Amy sat down at the table and took the offered plate. Smiling her thanks, she ate her food, watching his plate so not to be too quick or too slow - a habit that she had fallen in to recently. When he had finished, she also emptied her plate, swallowing the last morsels of food down and putting her plate with his in the sink. Running her tongue over her perfectly white teeth to check that she didn't have any food left in them, she smiled and nodded at the offer of a drink. "That would be lovely." She smiled, beginning to feel like a broken radio that could only say the same sentence over and over again. Laughing inwardly at how quiet she was being today, she drunk the orange juice and smiled. But, although the smile continued to play on her pink lips, a cloud of frown descended upon her mind, reminding her that she no longer had the taste of the kiss on her lips, but now only had orange juice. And however nice that was, the former taste had been so much nicer. Wondering whether she would be allowed the pleasure of another kiss, she looked around the room, caught Mark's eyes and smiled.

With a smile Mark poured Amy a glass of orange juice, handing it to her before putting the carton back in to the fridge. He was well awake now and ready to get on with the day, they which he was going to be shaping around what Amy wanted to do. She was the guest after all and not to mention the reason why Mark's heart was beating out of tune, in a good way. "So what do you want to do today. I would suggest getting out of the house before everyone wakes up, its like a zombie house this time in the morning." He joked, letting out a slight laugh as he did so. Mark was only this awake because of her, usually he would be just like everyone else in the morning. Maybe it was just a guy thing because Adele was never as bad as the rest of them were. Even Lowan got up sometimes in such a bad mood. Out of all the guys though Logan was probably the best in the morning and Riley was most certainly the worst, never saying as much as a hello until he got his usual morning coffee.

Distracted slightly by the taste on her lips, she shook her head, trying to catch up with the conversation that had just passed. "I don't mind. You mentioned a waterfall?" She asked, tilting her head to the side slightly as she tried to remember what else he had said. The last day had gone in a happy blur for Amy, her enjoying spending every moment with Mark. Looking around the kitchen, she only just noticed that the house was vacant apart from upstairs where everyone else was sleeping. Nodding at the comment of zombies, she smiled at Mark's laugh, finding it pleasant and appealing. She had never had much trouble getting up in the mornings, unless she had stayed especially late up the night before. This was probably to do with the fact that whether she was at school or travelling, she always took it easy and never spent a lot of time doing things, enjoying the rest and peace that taking things slowly brought. Standing up, she picked up her bag and hovered, unsure of what to do next. Staying in someone's house was always lovely, but it did get slightly awkward when she didn't know what to do or where things were.

Mark nodded his head at her comment about him mentioning a waterfall. He had forgotten all about that until now, he guessed he should be thanking her. He did, in his head though. "Yeah i did. I just a fifteen, twenty minute walk through the forest around the back of the house." He said as he watched her pick up her bag then stand in the middle of the room, evidently awkward. He did not acknowledged this and just carried on, not wanting to add to her feeling. "Well il just write a note to tell Riley and then we will be off." He said before quickly grabbing a pen and paper and scribbling down a note to tell Riley where he was going. Pouring some water in to a bottle for later he then turned back to Amy with a smile then walked to the door. "I think your going to love it, it really is beautiful to look at. Then again i will have two beautiful things to look at now." He said with a wink as he opened the front door and held it open for her. "Ladies first." He said waiting to follow her outside and lead the way through the forest
