Given thanksgiving was celebrated on what-is-now Canadian soil first.... I'd say you're a month late. ;)

Month late month early, happy thanksgiving everyone :D Hope everyone was stuff till you were close to exploding <_< hee hee and gave thanks to whatever they are thankful for in their lives :)

It is almost over but Happy Thanksgiving! The family was all civil and the family's bigfoot wasn't there to eat all the food so we are extremely thankful for that! :D

Nick: Florida (1565) Newfoundland (1578) :p

"there is some evidence for an earlier harvest celebration by Spanish explorers in Florida during 1565"
"There was a Thanksgiving of sorts in Newfoundland, modern-day Canada in 1578 but it was to celebrate a homecoming instead of the harvest."

One is concrete, one is possible.
Until you prove Florida was earlier and actually occurred - I'm right. ;)
