Zura walked slowly out onto the pitch to see a rabble of students already there. With her firebolt in hand she wandered over to them and sighed when she saw who the captain of the team was. She didn't look anywhere else and could seriously careless who else was on the pitch at that moment, she just wanted her shot at a team placement.
When no one else stood up to take their turn, Zura wrote her name down and clarified with the captain what she wanted before straddling her broom and kicking off. The wind was in her favour for the first length of the pitch so she was able to go at break neck speed to the other end of the pitch, in and out of the hoops she swerved, turning with grace and speed. Being a seeker on her last team had given her an edge where speed was concerned. She was fast and she knew it. Belting back up the pitch, Zura kept herself focused but wondered briefly why there weren't any obstacles to bar their way. A rogue bludger would have been great altogether, she preferred to work against the odds. At the other end she swerved neatly around the hoops there as well before zigzagging down the column of the hoop as if wanting to show off a little.
Amzurah was well aware her time would be good and felt she had plenty to do the odd trick, the least the sodden captain could do was roll her eyes and tell her to ease up on the theatrics in future, or so she hoped anyhow. Landing easily she dismounted from her broom and walked over with a knowing grin on her face to see her time. Her smile faltered just a little, she should have done better than that but she certainly wasn't going to let Andromeda know that.
