Gryffindor Quidditch Practice Y46/S1

Raawhiti was pulling away and Milo was still struggling to catch up. It would have been aggravating if Milo didn't see the snitch shoot between him and Raawhiti first. With the other seeker's back to them, Milo had a huge head start, even with the pain from the two bludgers, and it was more than enough. Milo didn't think about Raawhiti, just zeroed in as he shot after the snitch, dodging past one of the chasers before looping down, heading the snitch off as it took a steep dive before grasping it tightly. "Woohoo!! Got it! Bludgers got nothing on me!" He said, hoisting the snitch above his head in victory.

Miro was too focused on finding another bludger to notice one of the seekers had caught the snitch. He was intent on chasing the next bludger he spotted, flying after it and reaching to hit it. He smiled when it hit on the mark he had been aiming for, one of the team's keepers.

@Teddy Pirrip

Rāwhiti knew it was a good sign that his alternate at least could catch the snitch, so he bit back on his frustration and nodded in acknowledgement to Milo. "Good catch."

Milo had been hoping for a little more accolades before returning to the hunch but at least he got to see Teddy take a bludger. Milo reluctantly let the snitch go, taking a short breather before getting back into it.

Josh held back a little again to try and let other chasers have ago, he decided to fly around the pitch for a bit while waiting for one of the other chasers to grab hold of the quaffle.

Rāwhiti circled higher as he carried on looking for the snitch, letting the wind in his face soothe him.

Miro looked for another bludger, and managed to follow one that flew past him. He wasn't able to hit it.

Milo took a sudden dive before gaining height again quickly, hoping to shake off any potential bludgers.

Rāwhiti flew higher as he searched for the snitch, eyes scouring the skies.

Milo and Raawhiti were even in catches now and Milo knew to make an impact he needed to do better than just even. He kept a close eye on Raawhiti as he flew about the pitch, ready to make a move if the other seeker seemed like he was onto something.

I mean, when Teddy played as Seeker, he must have caught the snitch like, five times, by now. But sure Milo managed to get it after six pages of training. Impressive stuff, mate. Teddy was so fixated on watching Milo's seeker skills that he totally spaced out on keeping an eye out for bludgers. That was until one slammed into his side, almost knocking him off his broom. Teddy had almost forgotten how painful they were as he struggled to catch his breath and regain his composure,

Milo was sure he saw some kind of movement further down the pitch, turning away from Raawhiti and the beaters (and any non-believer keepers) for a moment to try and track.

When it looked like no one else was going for the quaffle, Josh decided to grab a hold of the quaffle and flew towards one of the hoops

Rāwhiti did his best to tune out the rest of the team for a while, focusing on finding the snitch again quickly, hoping to prove again that he deserved his spot.

Milo put on a burst of speed, swooping after the glimmer of movement he was sure he saw. Pulling out of his dive however, he'd lost the trail, groaning and punching the air in frustration as he checked over his shoulder a few times just in case.

When Josh was close enough towards the hoops, he threw the quaffle towards the left hoop, happy that it managed to sail right through the hoop

Rāwhiti pulled around quickly when he saw Milo picking up speed, but he slowed down when the younger boy veered away, turning back onto his original trajectory and carrying on.

Josh kept back and waited for other chasers to have a go at the quaffle.

Rāwhiti dipped lower as he flew on, searching closer to the stands.

Veronica stayed in position waiting for one of the chasers to try and score past her.

Fraser grabbed the quaffle after Joshua's success at scoring.

Milo saw Raawhiti making a move out of the corner of his eye, speeding up and slumping a bit in disappointment when Raawhiti seemed to lose interest.

Aurora didn't hit anything.

Fraser approached the hoops quickly and tossed the quaffle precisely, and was really glad he managed to score.
