If Lizzie thought too much about the fact that this was going to be one of her last times on the Hogwarts quidditch pitch, she knew she would cry. This pitch had become her home over the last seven years, and the idea that she was about to really, genuinely leave it behind forever was unthinkable. There were professional teams she had her eyes on, but never playing in Gryffindor colours again made her heart ache. And never playing alongside the teammates she had come to consider family was even worse. The Gryffindor team were some of Lizzie's favourite people in the world, and no part of her was ready to say goodbye to them.
But that day was drawing closer and closer, and Lizzie's heart sunk into her stomach every time she thought of it. Her graduation was so soon, and she wanted to make the most of every moment she had left at school. Even if they were long finished playing for the rest of the year, Lizzie wanted to keep her team sharp for next year, and a more casual, relaxed practice would also be a good way to take to the sky for the last time with the team who meant so much to her. So she had put the word out, summoning her teammates to the pitch, and once the small group had assembled Lizzie addressed them, trying to keep her sadness at saying goodbye to them out of her voice. "Hey guys!" She said brightly, smiling just a little too much. "I know we're all done for the year, but while I'm still your captain, I wanna keep you guys sharp for next year. You've got a cup to win, and nobody's getting rusty on my watch." She said with a grin, looking around at the people assembled in front of her. "Just run drills today... practice anything you think you need to work on, and if you've been on the team a while keep an eye on newer players, see if there's anything you can help them with. Remember we win or lose as a team, we've got to keep each other strong." She said firmly, a smile still on her face. Lizzie had considered saying something about her graduation, but she knew if she brought up the topic of leaving school she would wind up crying, and that wasn't the note she wanted to start practice off on. Picking up her broom, she blew a whistle around her neck, grinning. "Alright, let's start off with a few laps!" She said brightly before kicking off hard, soaring into the sky with the expectation that her team would follow after her.

Out of Character:
- I know it's a busy time of year both IC and OOC so I didn't want to do anything high-stress, but I did want some kind of second semester event for the team, so I've settled on a more relaxed practice than usual. Feel free to RP your characters practicing whatever Quidditch skills you like, and/or chatting amongst one another. There's no pressure or stress to do anything in particular in this thread, if you're too busy that's totally fine
This is just a little place for the team to touch base one last time before the year ends.
