Gryffindor quidditch practice S1Y51

Tess was relieved when Ivy failed to score because at least she wasn't the only one missing shots. She swooped in to take the quaffle as it was thrown back out.

Felix weaved in and out of the path of the Chasers, grinning at them as he past by.

[[ooc: I am so sorry. i have had such a busy week. and have meant to be more active. but i am glad that you are all participating. if i ever AWOL again feel free to 2a steal the quaffle from me.]]

Ivy flew up the pitch and could see Myles tailing her she was almost tempted to pass just to give miles the chance to intercept it. maybe she would next time. but this time she reached the half way point turned and made her way back to the hoop slowing down as she approached to focus. and hope to give Daviana the chance to save it. she threw the ball. and wtched it go in.

Felix was busy watching the Chasers although he was starting to lose track as to where the Quaffle was. He wasn't paying attention and didn't see the bludger coming straight for him, slamming into his stomach.

Daviana once again failed to block a shot and watched as it sailed through the left hoop. She grabbed the quaffle and tossed it back out.

Felix wasn't sure if he was going to make it to the end of the practice without keeling over, but with one hand he'd wrapped it over his stomach as he continued to search for the snitch.

Even though Felix was groaning as he travelled through the air, the snitch eventually showed itself beside his head. He reached out with his free hand, balancing on the broom with just his legs and wrapped his fingers around the snitch for the second time that practice. He was securing a victory for the red team for sure, and he waved it in the air for Ivy to see.

Tess could see that Felix was struggling after the bludger hit. She almost asked if he was okay before he caught the snitch again. Surely this meant that he was fine. As Daviana threw the quaffle back out, Tess dived down to collect it and tucked it under her arm as she flew back in the opposite direction.

Felix let go of the snitch, watching it fly freely once more. With both hands back on his broom, Fifi tried to focus and wait until they were finished before worrying about getting bruised.

Tess was determined to score this time. As she made her way back to the hoops, she didn't hesitate once she was close enough. She threw the quaffle directly through the middle hoop. "Yes!" she exclaimed, glad she had scored successfully.

Felix was slightly aware that someone had scored a goal but he darent risk looking over to see.

Thinking he saw another flicker, Felix headed in the direction of what he hoped was the snitch.

Felix had to peer around the pitch to check that the others were still playing.

Daviana watched as Tess came towards her with the quaffle. Thinking the girl was going to go through one of the side hoops, she flinched to the right, leaving the center hoop open for Tess to score. She go the quaffle and tossed it back into play, feeling a little down.

Daviana was convinced that the next quaffle thrown her way would not get through the hoops. She just had to focus and be prepared.

Miles was annoyed to see the other chasers having so much success, he felt determined to try and score himself. So he swooped in to grab the quaffle for himself once he was thrown back out. He was going to score this time.

Felix felt as though his fingers were tingling. Maybe it was his Fifisenses, suggesting the snitch was nearby.

Daviana saw Miles grab the quaffle and prepared to block him when he tried to score.

It was not close enough however. Fifi continued to search.

Daviana focused on the chaser coming towards her, feeling extra ready this time.

Felix was also very ready to catch the snitch again, but it was being elusive. He would just have to become and even better player, so that in a real match if he were chosen to play again, he'd be ready.

Miles faked a shot to the left hoop, but swerved to the right at the last second, grinning as the quaffle went straight through the hoop.

Felix saw in the corner of his eye as one of the Chasers managed to score a goal, and it spurred him on to push himself, too.
