This particular thread is for graduates and speakers to post in. Guests and spectators may post in "Graduation 2030: Spectators/Guests."

Even though Gabriel Lloyd hadn't truly gotten to know any of the seventh years in attendance today, he was proud of every one of them, from the most upstanding prefects to students who struggled for their Ps and As. These students all deserved to be here, no matter which path had brought them. A wise man had once told the headmaster that there was more than one way to climb up a hill. Graduation was such a hill- no doubt, it was only one of many they would encounter after they took their final ride on the Hogwarts Express.

Streamers of different colors dangled in thin air, celebrating each house in no particular order. After all, the soon-to-be-graduates were here as the class of 2029, together, not simply as badgers, lions, snakes, and ravens. The ceiling reflected a sky painted blue and stuck fast with glued-on, cotton-ball clouds. All the long tables had been removed in favor of chairs and a stage. Seventh years filled the front row of seats while their guests filled the back. The headmaster and his deputies had their own place on stage.

Gabe rose and made his way to the podium. The buzzes and murmurs of dozens of voices died down as he began to speak.

"I'd like to welcome all who've journeyed here on this fine May afternoon," he began, "whether you're a graduate, staff member, family, friend, or someone who just wandered in. We're here to commend the blood, sweat, tears, laughter, smiles, effort, perseverance, love, and dedication the class of 2030 has put into seven years at Hogwarts New Zealand." The dark-haired wizard smiled as his attention gravitated towards those at the front of the audience. They were the reason for today and for the school's very existence. "Class of 2030- when you do board the train for the last time, take with you what you can. Do what you will to leave your foot and handprints on this world, to leave it an even more beautiful, better place. Above all else," he paused, "be true to yourselves. Don't ever give up on what can be."

Holding the silence for just a second, the headmaster intoned, "Next, I'd like to give a few moments to our Head Girl, Kamaria Zhefarovich." Gabe waited for Kamaria to take the stage before returning to his seat.

This was simply too much for the Head Girl. Standing, all dolled up for graduation. Kamaria Hestia Zhefarovich hoped that she was not overdoing it. Silvery eyes gazed over her dress that reached her ankles, showing off some high heels the color of silver, to match her eyes. Her painted fingernails brushed the blonde hair from her face, as she stood with the others as they were the class of 2030. The ones that remained after sorting. This was the final task for them all. After sorting, exams, OWLs and finally the NEWTs, they had done it. They had reached their goal of graduating to go out into a colder world. Perhaps it was better in the end, but Kara had thought differently. She knew the dark people that lurked in the shadows, and those people that are doomed to fight until they died, fighting a never-ending battle of good versus evil. Kara forced herself to go back to thinking of better things. The moment that she was sorted. She could remember when the hat had touched her head, and it shouted out Ravenclaw. How proud she had been when she had been sorted into the proud house, the same as her father but different from her mother. Her older twin brother Leviathan had been sorted into Slytherin, and not been able to earn as many honors as she. She had forced herself to go through so many tasks, earning as much as it could to fill the emptiness that she held. Leviathan was lucky. He always had it easier. Even their mother cherished him over her. She inhaled and she remembered the year after that, when she had met the first man that she believed that she had fallen in love with, and then meeting with her future sister-in-law whom was in the crowd. Her second year was full of feelings that she believed that were somewhat childish. It was not until Danny graduated in her third year when her father somehow made him vanish from her life, turning her colder. Kara remembered the letter as it flew in through the window during breakfast, when she had picked up and held the Ravenclaw Prefect badge in her hand. She remembered how Axel claimed that he was so proud of her, and so was his wife. All these memories were flowing back to her. After the OWLs, Kara became more determined to prove that she was somewhat better than her brother. She had been named Keeper, and in her sixth year, second year of being prefect, she was Co-Captain of the Quidditch team. That meant a lot to her. She was teamed up with Jeremy Thorne, someone she did not have a chance to get to know unfortunately.

Her mother was sent to Azkaban, and there was the change of her life. At the end of her sixth year, she ended up meeting with a darker man, someone that knew what happened to Emerald, and she ended up sleeping with him. Kara never knew what happened to that man. And now, at the beginning of her final year, she had earned the title of Head Girl, and abandoned everything except Quidditch to focus on that. The Quidditch game itself had been dramatic. There was a werewolf in the school, one that even she believed infected that second year from what the gossip article had claimed. Kara had so many things happening to her, that she was no longer that first year that walked the halls, believing that all were equals but now she was a colder woman, one that despised anything to do with Aurors, and wanted to get rid of them all for revenge for her sick mother. From the joys of winning the match to the losses of love, she had been through it all. She could feel her heart racing in her mind when Professor Lloyd, their headmaster, go to the stage, and start the graduating ceremony. If only it was longer. He soon asked for her to come up to the stage. Kara had thought of the speech that she was going to make to the class of 2030, and she knew that it was going to be cliche. She would have to make it as unique as possible. She wasn't going to rip off her dress or anything, but she wanted to make it somewhat sweet, and somewhat short. She rose, her tall form making to the stage with ease as she looked down at the crowd. Somehow, she had grabbed onto her bravery, and she started her speech. "We have been through a lot together, to start it out. Some of us have transferred from other schools, yet managed to fit in with our large family. For those that have been here for all seven years, we can surely remember when we were first years, and the only thing that we had to worry about at the time were the older kids, and the Sorting Hat. Now look at us, we survived the NEWTs, and are ready to face the world with an iron fist." Kara paused for a moment, looking over the crowd as a smile curled across her features. "Allow me to say that we have been through a lot together regardless. We survived what we did not think we could survive, but do not be discouraged of the world outside of this school, outside of a place that we have known as home for a long time now. The world may have some teeth that it will bite us with, when it throws us hardships, but we have been prepared by our great professors.

"Fellow graduates, we are ready to go out there. Through the shouts, the screams, the tears, and the love, our memories are what made us to be strong. Cherish the friendships that you have made. Adore the love that you have made here, never let it go. Not everyone here will keep in touch. Looking back, we never would have guessed who would have won what Quidditch match, never would have guessed who made Prefect and who did not,"
her silvery eyes landed on her brother for a moment before she turned back to the crowd, "and lastly, half the time, we did not know who the professor was going to be when we entered the classroom. Once you are out in the real world, you won't have a professor by your side to hold your hand and say 'That's okay, try again'. There are a lot of obstacles out there to overcome, despite of that, we were prepared. After many long years, we can finally say that we graduated. I would like to thank everyone for the memories that were made here, the good and the bad, and would like to thank the professors that stuck with us, even after the detentions and the fights. To wrap this up because I know some of you are dying to get out of here, and to celebrate with parents and friends, congratulations class of 2030! The memories were fantastic, and remember to cherish them! I may see you all out in the real world, and good luck to everyone. You all deserve it." She concluded with a smile before she looked over to Professor Lloyd, and she nodded her head. She then went off of the stage. As Head Girl, she had been the fourth Ravenclaw Head Girl to have graduated from Hogwarts New Zealand. It was a good feeling, and she would keep it with her forever. She went back to the other graduates, and she hoped that some would be around her later on, but she doubted it. She looked to her twin before she shook her head and turned her head up to see the Head Boy, Justin Cliffeton, to make his speech. She wondered if it would be any good. This Head Girl may not have liked many, but she did not know what to think of that one after he had dated her uncle's ex-girlfriend, as weird as that sounds. She held her hands by her side before ultimately folding them across her chest. She was very remorseful, and her silvery eyes reflected that. She was leaving her home. No one could have said anything to change what she was feeling right now. Kamaria Hestia Zhefarovich was no longer going to be Head Girl, Prefect or a student. Yet, she still smiled.

There was so much Justin would have to remember for today. It was going to be the biggest day of his life to date, and he would have to give a speech in front of the whole entire Seventh Year student body, along with all of their guests. Not to mention Dannii and Nadia. What had he been thinking at the time when he had invited Dannii of all people? Why would she turn up? After all, she had run out on him when he had told her that he loved her, and it wasn't something that you got over. But maybe, just maybe, she had run away because she loved Justin but she just hadn't been able to process those feelings or hadn't been ready to admit them to him. There were really so many things that it could be, and so little time for Justin to think them all over. Justin didn't really feel a lot like himself today, he had asked for help from Nadia to make himself look semi-presentable so that he didn't look like a huge fool in front of everyone, and especially in front of Dannii. The hardest part of being human was knowing that at some point in your life you're pretty much going to get heartbroken and there won't be anyone else for you to talk to about it or to make life better. That was the hardest part about the whole situation with Dannii and Trinity, but he was better now and that would make him better in the long run. He remembered everything that had happened these last few years at this school, and he had had good memories and bad memories, but they all made him who we was today and he wouldn't swap any of them for the world.

Kamaria took the stage and began her speech after the Headmaster began the proceedings and addressed he and her. It was an amazing speech, and that of someone who had spent hours perfecting it. Maybe she had, and maybe she hadn't. He couldn't be sure, he didn't really know her that well. He had mixed feelings when it came to the Head Girl. He would have liked to know her a little better then he did, but he couldn't see that happening now. He smiled as she finished her speech, and it was his turn to take the stage. He was looking to make this speech memorable. "Memories can be a powerful part of us in the long run of our lives. All of you will leave this school with fond memories of your friends, maybe even hateful memories of people who picked on you, told you you weren't good enough, or if you just didn't like the look of their faces. I may not have been here for as long as all of you, but I remember most of the people who now sit in front of me today, and I'm proud to say that I know you all. There are two of you who sit in front of me today that stand out the most, though." Justin said, having just then found Nadia and Dannii. "I remember a while ago when I had been out with a friend of mine, and I had told her I'd never wanted to be Head Boy, and she had told me she could see it happening, even back then. Is that not proof enough that we aren't in complete control of our lives? And that if something is meant to happen, it will happen. So don't live your lives in fear of what could happen. Don't let what should have been, become what could have been. There are so many amazing opportunities in life for every single one of us. From the good students to the not-so-good, to the people who just couldn't care less. Every one of you have a chance to make your lives amazing, and lead them in the directions that you want your lives to take. Love, live, laugh, smile. Those are the four most important things that I ask of you today. Just enjoy your lives and live them to the best of your abilities. Nobody cann choose your life but you. Good luck to all of you in the world outside, and I hope you all lead amazing lives. Because absolutely every one of you deserves that opportunity." Justin finished his speech, and took one last glance at Dannii before he left the stage and took his seat again. He was proud of himself to have made it this far, and he was looking forward to going further again. He was going to be an Auror, he knew it.

When the Head Girl and Boy had completed their speeches, Cyndi rose from her seat and clapped enthusiastically as she approached the podium to say a few words herself. "Thank you for those great speeches" she said as they returned to their seats.

Turning to the entire graduating class, Cyndi spoke once more."I wish you all nothing but the best of luck and a warm congratulations for your accomplishment. I hope that you have learned something useful here that will help you achieve your goals...whatever they might be." The deputy headmistress smiled brightly at the graduates and then told the students to listen for their names. This was it: their big moment, and she knew that it would be an event they would remember for years to come. She didn't know what the future held for them, but she wished them all good luck as they came on stage, shook hands with her and received their diplomas.

It's time Graduates, you can now RP your character coming on stage, getting his or her diploma and then sitting back down until the end of the ceremony.

Damian Metzger had been both looking forward to this moment and dreading it. He looked at the other seventh years, that were going to be Alumni here in a few moments. Damian had spent a lot of time here. From moving in with Dietrich to finding out that he was Part-Veela, to going into the Glam Squad, to joining Quidditch, to becoming Prefect and then Captain. There were a lot of things that were running through his mind. Then there was the highlight of his life right now, Ostensia Romanes. She was in the crowds, and she was here for him. She was the love of his life, and he felt extremely bad that she was going to be here without him. For two whole years. Damian wondered how he was going to live without her. He had been so used to being here with him, it was just amazing. Since he was a fourth year, he had been around her, calling her his girlfriend, showing her off to others. He had been in a fight while he was in school, and he had seen Leviathan kind of act jealous over someone that he thought that he had broken up with. Damian let out a sigh and he listened to the Head Girl and Head Boy's speeches, finding them both good to listen to. He clapped accordingly, though he could have sworn that he thought that Justin wanted to be the Head Boy, and didn't turn out like the one that Damian thought. Damian believed that the best one that he had seen were Azerail and Aries. He would have liked Theodore, but he was a little on the scary side. Once he heard his name called out, he walked up to Professor Kingsley before he smiled at his Head of House, taking his diploma into his hand. He went off of the stage, and went to stand with the other graduates, but he looked over at Ostensia and Dietrich before he beamed proudly. He did it!

The Head Girl was glad that her speech was over, and she was going to ensure that she would be able to go across the stage and receive her diploma, ending her years here in the school. She loved the school, no doubt, but she did not want to have to deal with another idiot here. She had become less tolerant of most of the students nowadays. She helped only when asked, and she did have control over the prefects, but overall, she was good with her years in the school. Her silvery eyes washed over her father that was in the crowd, and Athena. She smiled warmly at the two of them, before she turned forward, and waited for her name to be called. If they were going in order, it would be a while until they reached the Z's. Even if she thought that they were the best in the school, and had the purest blood. Well, her mother's side was inbred but no one knew about that. Kara looked up at Professor Kingsley before she heard that her name was called. Finally and at last. She was glad that she was approaching the steps, and she took the diploma in her hand before she gazed at Professor Kingsley. Her hand clinched the diploma before she averted her eyes, and went back down off of the stage. She went to be next to her brother before she looked over in the crowd to see that Ariah Rowan had actually came. She had invited her, and Kara was just glad that she was able to make it. Though she could definitely tell that there was something different about her. Something that she would relate with. She looked over at Leviathan and she rolled her eyes. "For Merlin's sake, Levi!" hissed Kara as she nudged him painfully in the side. She hoped that her older twin brother would be able to make amends with his future wife while she was here, if he would wake up enough to spot her in the crowd.

Mikayla Blade could not believe it. She had actually made it to Graduation and she was still in shock. She had waited so long for this, but now. She was actually alittle scared. Now she would have to go out in the world and not have her safe little haven to come back to every year. She had only been at the school for two years, but in that time she had grown to love it. True, she had not managed to make any friends, but that was through her own wish and not through anyone elses. Though she had managed to make friends with many people outside of school, and she was sad that Chase could not be here to see her Graduate, but she knew that he would have been here, if he could. Anyway, it wasn't like she didn't have people here. She had Speedy and her father after all. She had sucked up her courage and decided to invite him. Why not, he was her father after all. She had to have some-one there, though she probably would have been better off inviting Alex. It wouldn't be likely that she would yell at her father, but there was the chance. No, not today, she was going to put all past grievences behind her and was going to talk to her father. It would all work out. She was sure of it.

When Mikki heard her name, her head shot up. She couldn't believe it was actually time. So many memories shot to mind, though none were surrounded in friends. Most consisted of her spending time writing letters to Speed. She smiled and went to collect her diploma and smiling brightly, her own diploma was in her hands, she could hardly believe it, the smile that had randomly grown on her face was staying, it was too hard to remove, no thought could destroy her happiness. She nodded slightly, mostly to herself and went off of the stage slowly, making sure she did not fall from excitment, she stood quietly with the other graduates, still smiling. Though not at them, she didn't really know them, but at Speed and maybe a little at her father. She had done it, she had won, she was happy.

Sitting in graduation would have to be the worst thing in the world. He had invited his dad and Theodore Snow, one of Leviathan Zhefarovich's good friends that had a child on the way, and was already a father. Someone that could relate to him in his situation with an arranged marriage. His was to keep the blood pure, while Theodore's with Aleyha's marriage was about aligning up two good families together that were not pure-blood, though later on, as it turned out, the Snows and the Zhefarovichs mixed blood anyhow with Nataliia and Alphonse, and then with Noah. However they had pure-blood children so it was just fine. Levi sat through the speeches, but in the middle of them, he managed to slip into a state where he was asleep, looking down at the floor and dozing off. He was not exactly the best at keeping an attention span when it came down to ceremonies. He couldn't deal with it too often, but he managed to wake up when he felt someone hiss in his ear, and nudge him. Apparently the speeches were over, and his name had been called up to get his diploma. He walked up on the stage, wiping his eyes before he reached out and took the diploma from the professor's hands. He was not paying attention to who was doing the whole thing, but he figured that he wouldn't really be bothered with it either. He went back to join his sister, before he would leave at the first chance he got to go back to sleep. He hated things like this. To him, his future looked pretty damn grim because the one that was going to end up married to him hated his guts. Ah, and then they'd have to have a kid. What a bright future.

Brown eyes scanned the crowd, searching for any other hint of nerves, uneasiness, any form of anxiety from another student, anything to reassure the eighteen year old, soon to be Hogwarts new Zealand graduate, he wasn't the only one boiling with nerves. Even the sight of tapping fingers would be enough of a reassurance for Samuel, his eyes found no other signs of tension among his seventh year peers. Either they were all faking confidence, or his anxiety was matched so closely by the other students, it was invisible to him. It was ironic, how he actually made the effort to look at the other graduating students then, and only during the graduation ceremony, as opposed to during the year, where the part-veela chose to keep a safe, antisocial distance from everyone else, apart from the students he couldn't manage to dodge within the stone walls. Those students were regrettably at the graduation ceremony that day. Jaden, of course was also graduating and was seated to the eighteen year old's left. Samuel and Jaden shared an unusual friendship; they hated each other, yet alternately hung around together. Hardly a love/hate relationship, but basically frenemies, and the only friend the Slytherin had made in his year long attendance at Hogwarts New Zealand, if he could call Jaden a friend. Samuel knew he could call her an equal, as he turned to face her, scrunching up his face as the head girl, Kamaria Zhefarovich, made her speech. Intelligent and beautiful, Samuel thought Kamaria a fine head girl, although he knew nothing about her, something which probably wouldn't change. Samuel found himself rolling his eyes at the speech made by the head boy, Justin Cliffeton. His speech seemed half assed, and self-indulgent, yet the eighteen year old didn't bother complaining, did he have the right to? Certainly not.

Now was the time when all the names were called, and each student was required to walk across the stage and receive their diploma. Samuel knew he would be named in the middle, his last name told him so. Thus meaning he didn't have to be the shaking first called student, worried they'll slip up while being the first person on stage, the eyes of everybody on them. Neither did the artist have to be the last called student, walking across the stage in front of sleeping spectators, or even students for that matter. Samuel was placed in a safe medium between both extremes, all because of his last name. He had always been proud to be gifted with his last name, spite the fact his family weren't as well known as the Zhefarovich's, especially since his mother and father's death a few short months ago. He was to blame for that, a burnt down house caused by a cigarette left burning, the cigarette he had left. The total destruction of his home did not just mean the death of his loved ones, but also the death of his bedroom, his sanctuary, and the death of all his artwork. Everything was gone, all burnt into nothing. Somebody optimistic would have told him that counting his losses were too many, and prodded him in the direction of looking on the bright side of things. How was Samuel supposed to be positive when everything he once had, everything he once worked for, was mercilessly turned to ash? In the will, he had gotten his inheritance, as well as the property now burnt down. So the soon to be graduate's next plans were to ditch New Zealand once and for all, to move to France, and get a fresh start, away from his troubled past, something graduation contributed to. The only thing Samuel really had left was his younger brother, who had been spared of such a fiery and painful death.

Samuel shook his head, only then realising he had gotten lost in his thoughts, along with all the other seventh years. Graduation seemed to be a time of reflection, for Samuel definitely, but when wasn't he reflecting? He was deep, and an artist, those things go hand in hand. His own name rung in his ears, it was time. Samuel ran a hand through his dyed brown hair, biting a lip as he ascended the steps, to finally get his diploma and be out of Wizarding School once and for all. He shook hands with Professor Kingsley, his polite smile widening as the kind professor wished him luck; he needed it that was for sure. As he descended the steps on the other end of the stage, Samuel quickly glanced into the crowd of guests, sitting behind the graduating class, his eyes quickly meeting the eyes of his best friend, James. He averted his eyes once they met Aimee's, the other person he invited. They weren't on good terms, they never were, but he had invited her purely so she could talk to Elspeth, giving him leeway to avoid her. He had broken up with Elspeth the previous day, finally, and if she was going to graduation, she had her sl*t of a best friend Aimee to distract her. Breaking up with Elspeth, another contribution to his fresh start in France. The part-veela still had yet to announce his plans to James, or anybody, they remained locked behind his lips, hidden away completely until further notice. Samuel approached the rest of his graduated peers, crowding together like they still depended on each other. It was almost cute in a way, how his fellow witches and wizards stood together, putting aside their differences, it showed how much all the students had matured over their years. He, however, stood away from the others, not too far away, but far away enough, loosening his irritating tie while waiting for Jaden to be called.

Now was the time for Justin to recieve the proof of his graduation from HNZ. Justin had actually been excited when he had been delivering his speech, it had been the highlight of all of his days at the school, and the little smile he had earned off Nadia for including her in his speech had made him smile and feel a lot more comfortable about everything, really. He wondered if everyone had liked his speech, and whether or not he had actually done a good job when it came to it. He didn't think it was all that good, but it wasn't his opinion that mattered to him when it came to things that he had written and performed, it was the opinion of everyone else that mattered on those things. But it was time for him to get his diploma, and wasn't that the whole point of today? Justin walked onto the stage when his name was called, once again glancing at Dannii as he walked across, and smiling at Nadia. He would have to catch them both once he was done in here. He needed to talk to Dannii, after all. Justin once again took his seat as he waited for the proceedings to come to an end.

Jaden West sat motionless and stiffed, given no proper respects to the speeches given that day. She had zone out of her scenery to a much rather better placed in her mind. This school has not given her anything but hell, so why should she listen? If it was up to Jaden she would have ended this graduation in a much more hair raising approach. Since it wasn't, Jaden did not care to listen. She did not like anyone here, she did not respect anyone here, everything this school stand for matter nothing to her. She flicked her eyes a few times while she had been zone out. It was Samuel who had brought her back to reality when he moved to get up and retrieve his diploma. Samuel who may have misunderstood how Jaden felt about him walked to the stage and got his diploma. She hated him the most, he was a queer straight boy who lived by having the best of both world. His veela charm got him some, but Jaden. Jaden rolled her eyes at him.

Soon enough her name was called, Jaden unfolded her arm and gather up to her feet. She walked across the stage staring coolly right at Professor Kingsley. She did not thank her for the diploma, rather much just snatched it from her hand and walked off. From the stage in the brief moment that she had presented herself Jaden spotted Eliza. Her great aunt had made sure to have come today, Eliza was her only living relative besides her sloot sister Leslie and Clinton if he counted at all. A tiny part her was glad to see her, Jaden walked off and joined the rest of the graduates. She was happy to be done here, if there was a day she'd say she was ever happy it was today. Jaden would never have to see anyone from here. Tonight she would be leaving to Pittsburgh, Maine. Alone yes, though she was happy to have her parents old home. Leslie would stay here with Eliza, Jaden will not come back to New Zealand unless she had too. There was a sudden sense where she had joined reality and her life will be better off once she left this whole big mess behind.

Briar and her skank self would be a thing of the past. So will Dederick and everyone else she encounter. Jaden will be at a fresh start and there was no one else who could take that away from her. She was living by that and was sure to seek it through. Jaden looked down at her father's watched, it ticked away at a normal rate showing her the correct time. It was a muggel watch, one he wore all the time. She wore today since there was hardly anything else passed down to her. she touched the glass of the watch, running a finger passed the glass. Did she miss any of them? Somehow, Jaden sort of did. They were gone but they had always been still her parents and brother.

Clarice Herrington remembered thinking about this day what seemed like a million years ago but what was really only seven years ago. Even as a first year she Clara often wondered what it would be like on her Graduation day. Part of her had always hoped that she would be standing up on that stage as Head Girl but things hadn’t gone her way and she was alright with that. She hated to admit it but a lot of things hadn’t gone her way. Her grades weren’t adequate enough for her and she knew that it was all because of Josh. What could she say, she was a young woman and in love for the first time, he was all she thought about most of the time and unfortunately her grades and her friends had to take the fall because of it; although she had tried to saved her one and only friendship with Ben but he just seemed distant lately and even though it killed her she knew that she couldn’t fix it. She hated knowing that she wasn’t top if her class and her grades weren’t great but she only had one dream and that was to become an Auror but she knew her parents would never allow it and she knew she couldn’t fulfil her dreams so a part of her didn’t mind so much that her grades weren’t great because she had no other plans after graduation. She wondered what had happened the bright eyed and bushy haired girl in first year that was so eager to learn and made excellent grades. Oh well she thought as she sat in the crowd listening to Kamaria and Justin make their speeches. She didn’t have any other plans after the Auror one so she didn’t mind maybe just taking sometime to herself, helping her mother out in her stores, she was good at administrative work, and maybe spending some quality time with Josh now that she didn’t have to restrict herself to just Brightstone weekends when he was off also and holidays.

When Justin finished giving his speech Clara sat up and began to pay more attention as it was time for the graduates to go and collect their diplomas. Her nerves had her shaking slightly but not enough to hinder walking up in anyway and when he was name was called out she made her way to the stage and collected her diploma. Looking down into the crowd she saw a glance of her guest, Josh and her cousin, Nora who was really the only person she was close too in the school after Ben stopped talking to her. She wished that she could have invited Josh’s sister, Jasmin, who was almost like a sister to Clara now as they just got on so well and hung out every time they got a chance. She probably should have invited her parents but they were too busy with their own lives and had already been to two graduations before so another one would be no big thing to miss. Taking her seat again she waited until the ceremony was over so she could go see her guests and start the rest of her life and whatever that might entail for her.
