At first Lilith hadn't intended to go home and see her family during the break and it wasn't because she didn't want to but frankly everything was just too complicated. Her parents choosing life in a muggle community rather than magical made everything more difficult, you'd have to literally do everything the muggle way, traveling included. However when granny Alice had sent her a letter saying her family would be visiting them in the UK and offered her a quick trip there she hadn't been able to refuse, so she'd agreed for a few days. The Ravenclaw missed her siblings after all.

Having wanted to keep it a secret granny Alice was the only one with her as she stepped into the house of her grandparents, there was a huge smile on her face as she started to look around for her siblings. Though she'd grown up around grandma Meeri and her house, this one wasn't an exact stranger either. Listening to the trail of Leo's voice the third year snuck from the hallway into the living area where she saw her siblings back to her, her brother showing something in a bird book? To their sister. Creeping closer Lilith rushed forward tackling them from over the back and squeezing her face between theirs with a wide smile, one arm around each siblings shoulders. "Hi little ones, missed you! You thought I really wouldn't come see you?" There was a glint of genuine happiness in her tone as she spoke, having thought she wouldn't be able to see them at first had been a bit devastating.

Leena was one more explanation about how the Chaffinch tried to impress ladies with its red underpants away from accidentally stabbing her brother. Leena had been trying to simultaneously read the instruction booklet that had come with her craft kit and was now threading her needle, all the while Leo kept thrusting his bird in her face for her to listen to. It had been a tense holiday so far, so much so Leena was actually looking forward to going back to school just for the chance to breath, gain a little space away from her family.

Despite her frustrations, the blonde had been very good at keep up her manners, and she wasn't about to let them slip now despite her imagination running wild the moment her brother was back in her peripherals. It probably wasn't for the best that she was encouraging his behaviour, but she'd supposed there were worse things he could be passionate about, "Is it always red?" she was asking between somewhat gritted teeth. Before their conversation could continue its decent down the rocky slope of desperation, Leena was promptly grappled from behind, the shock of which had her frozen to the spot as she tried to decipher who was trying to send her to early grave. She turned her head and for a moment she thought mum was playing a prank on them, but her eyes lit up when she realised their sister had come to visit. "You said you weren't coming!" Leena carefully moved the equipment from her lap to the arm of the couch, before turning to kneel toward Lilith. It was a little surreal to see her older sister in the room at that moment, and in some ways she looked even older than she did last time she'd seen them, which was practically impossible. Nevertheless, perhaps their was hope Leena's afternoon would be saved yet.

Leo had spent enough time in the forest behind their grandparents house in the past week to know that there was a family of swans residing in the lake about fifty-five-meters from the house. No he hadn't used a measuring tape, he was just that smart and good. Not that he was keeping a score of the things he knew and did that made him smart or anything. However after lunch he'd taken to the couch and to his favourite hobby yet. Bothering his younger, now that part was very important YOUNGER, twin sister. He loved Leena, really did, but there was nothing better than showing her all the birds and have her practically begging on her knees for him to shut up. The sweet sound of a sisters annoyance, too bad Lili had managed to catch herself a break. Shameful really.

As Leo grinned at his sister, ready to respond to her question, that no it was more of a brown-pink than red, he was suddenly grabbed by the shoulders. Mum. Though mum had had enough of him already but he still did not expect to see his older sister peering down at them. "First of all, not so little anymore, going to be taller than you in no time thank you very much." He explained to her matter-of-factly and then raised a brow. "Yeah, I second that! You said you weren't coming, so you lied?" He was now teasing her more than anything else. "You sure it's you and not just a magical clone they sent?" Leo asked narrowing his eyes and poking the girl on her cheek.

Lilith looked at Leena first, her hair having grown and the little colour she'd picked up on her skin during the summer faded, and the warmth in her chest spread. She'd missed these two. Letting out a laugh at their almost simultaneous accusation of her having said she wasn't coming and then Leo poking at the side of her face the Ravenclaw moved one hand to cover that side and wrinkled her nose up a little bit. "I did and I thought I wasn't coming, but then granny proposed an idea of a few days and well I had to see you two." She explained before looking to Leo with sharper eyes. "Yes Regu, it is me not some magical clone." She spoke, using the shortened version of the star name she'd given her brother. "You have grown so much, can't believe it's only been a few months." She fussed, taking a closer look at each one. "Make space for me Bellatrix," Lilith said to her sister as she rounded the couch, again using the star name she'd given only this time not shortening it. Leo had practically begged her to shorten his last summer, because he wanted it to sound cooler than Regulus did, so now she did every now and then.

Leena wanted Leo to stop talking to let Lilith get a word in edgeways. She listened as her older sister explained how she'd managed to join them even though it was only for a couple of days, it would still break up the holiday and make it considerably more bearable. This was exactly why Leena had wanted to keep a space open at the dining room table, so that Lilith would always feel like she could accept if she was invited over.

The blonde shuffled over, stepping off the couch to take her belongings out of the way, tucking them neatly in a pile under a low lampshade, somewhere that wouldn't be in the way and she could pick them up later, before returning to the couch beside Lili and tucking her legs under her. Leo was doing his usual best to contradict anything anybody ever told him, turning everything into an unnecessary argument, and Leena left Lilith to it. At least with her here they could share the suffering. "You didn't bring Eoghan this time?" Leena peered over the back of the couch, more so in preparation of another assassination attempt than out of disappointment.

Leo grinned as his sister turned out to be his sister and not a clone, kind of a shame though. Would have been cool if she'd learned to send clones over, he could then clone himself too one day. Skip classes and only send a clone over so he could go watch birds or something else as cool. Rolling his eyes at the question about the boy their sister called boyfriend Leo searched the space for the blond, pleased to not find a sign of him. He was still not sure the boy was deserving of their Lilith, matter of fact he wasn't sure any boy would ever be deserving of either of his sisters.

"Good, you came alone. Don't need to drag him around with you everywhere you go." He told her, secretly he was glad they'd get her all for their own for the next few days. Had she brought her boyfriend over half of her attention would have been on him and half shared between himself and Leena. Throwing his legs onto the coffee table and getting a quick shout from granny Alice to remove them Leo got down to the important questions. "Learn anything interesting?"

Settling comfortably between the twins Lilith shook her head at her sisters question. "No, not this time I can tell him you said hi though?" She offered before lightly smacking her brother on the arm. "I do not drag him around with me everywhere I go." She told him with narrowed eyes, sure she liked spending time with him always had but it wasn't like he was with her everywhere all the time. Just a lot of it, but that was okay and normal.

"Oh yeah, there were a few new subjects this year already. I think Ancient Runes was the most fun out of the new ones so far, though Muggle Studies was nice too." The Ravenclaw recounted on the subjects. "Oh also Transfiguration was lovely, as always. Kind of sad it's over for the next year or so." Lilith added, though that one shouldn't have been a surprise. She wondered when she'd tell her family about enrolling in animagus training with Professor Pirrip, perhaps after she was sure she could do it, so that if she failed she wouldn't cause unnecessary disappointments.
