Open Ghost Hunting

[Giselle Miller]

Giselle hadn't been in Hogwarts that long, but she was always interested in the ghosts that flew by. She hadn't really spoken to one, nor did she really study the ones here, as she had been doing her own thing somewhere in the castle. It was just before dinner time, and Giselle had decided to arrive at the Great Hall early, keeping an eye out and studying the ghosts that were floating by. She had her notebook filled with notes about the ghosts she had read up during her break. Giselle also decided to wear her paranormal hat, placed on backwards on her head, thinking it would help her study and keep an eye out for ghosts.

 

[Liusaidh Styx]

Liusaidh was always looking for something to do, she was often just bored because others were studying or doing other equally boring things. As Liusaidh was heading towards the great hall, she was looking for someone to speak to or something. She spotted in the hall, Giselle - the better one - wearing an odd looking hat that had some writing on it, with a notebook out in front of her and was glancing around. Curious, Liusaidh walked over and sat down next to her, ”What’re ye doin’ there wae that silly hat?” Liusaidh asked, with a friendly and somewhat curious tone. She wouldn’t make fun of it if she didn’t know what exactly she was making fun of. She noted as she sat that the hat sat paranormal investigator. "Looking for ghosts?"​

Giselle looked towards where the voice was coming from and had realised that it was one of her roommates. "Hello to you too Liusaidh," Giselle says with a smile and a little chuckle. Her eyes make it towards her head as if there was something on her forehead. She blushes a little bit from the comment. "It's a good hat, okay," Giselle says with a small laugh, as she fixes her hat a little. Her pops had given it to her as soon as she got back from her first year of Hogwarts. She had always mentioned about ghosts when she was writing to her family last year. He had joked that Giselle was part of ghostbusters or something. "Absolutely!" Giselle says with a small smile when Liusaidh had asked her if she was looking for ghosts.

Liusaidh narrowed her eyes at the hat and shrugged a little. ”It’s a hat,” she said in response. It was a weird hat to Liusaidh, definitely not good but Liusaidh wasn’t going to do anything just yet. She’d let the hat be. She was surprised that Giselle was actually looking for ghosts. ”Ye never seen one ’fore?” she asked. Ghosts were not too common but common enough that she had seen a good few in her life. ”There are ghosts aboot Hogwarts fae sure,” she then added, ”but ghosts are borin’ they dinnae do sh1t, just float there bein’ all sad and jealous that we’re alive and their no,” Liusaidh did not understand the appeal of ghosts but they were rather normal to her. ​
