Autumn was excited for the Yule ball, Rufus had finally ask her though he had left it quite last minute, thankfully Autumn had already been prepared for the ball as she would have been going with or without the Slytherin. After checking herself out in the mirror to make sure her dress fit perfectly, it did, she smirked and made her way out of the dorm, through the common and down towards the great hall. Autumn arrived before Rufus so decided to go inside and look for her brother, predictably she found him sat at one of the tables starring at a particular blonde girl, though she didn't look like she normally did, she looked beautiful. Austin had trouble when she looked awkward, he must have been shaking with nerves at being so close to her.

"She's alone, go over there already," She said taking a seat next to her brother. She could tell just by the look on his face that approaching her was the most terrifying thing he could imagine. "She won't bite, I don't think,"

Austin wasn't a big fan of the Yule ball and it had taken some serious arm twisting from his sister to convince him to attend. What had helped was that she would have a date so wouldn't be on him the whole night trying to get him to dance and socialise. At least he would have the option to sit alone and watch people dance, it didn't seem all that bad. Austin wasn't at the ball long before he locked eyes on Marga, his heart rate quickened and his palms became sweaty. He took at seat at the furthest empty table he could and tried to calm himself down, but he couldn't stop looking at the girl, which only made things worse. Margo looked spectacular and Austin wanted nothing more than to have the courage to go and tell her, but he didn't. Then it got worse, Autumn showed up. He smiled awkwardly at his sister as she took a seat and it didn't take her long to butt in. "Its not that easy okay, I'm not like you, Rufus has been drooling over you since the train ride our first year, all you have to do is snap your fingers and you had a date," Austin sighed as he cast he gaze over Margo again. "Look at her, I wouldn't stand a chance,"

Autumn listened to her brother, quietly impressed, it was the most she had heard him speak in a long time, even if it was mostly self deprecating to himself and complimentary to her. His conclusion that Margo was out of his league was laughable, was the boy blind? Whenever Autumn saw the two of them anywhere near each other Margo had the same nervous reaction as he did, surely Autumn wasn't the only one who could see that birds nest hair was just as into her brother as he was to her. "Austin if I had as little self confidence as you I'd be sat at this table staring at Rufus as he danced with that witch Sofia Rosenberg but am? No, and because I wasn't hiding in the corner I'm at the ball with the hottest guy in our year," Autumn raised her finger to her brother. "Do not repeat that last part," She warned him. The last thing she needed was Rufus knowing just how into him she was. "Grow a pair and go talk to her, and if she doesn't like you, we're twelve, its not the end of the world,"

Sofia was excited for her second Yule Ball. This time she would be attending it together with Abel and he was adorable. A real sweetheart and incredible handsome. She was asked by him and it was not hard to answer. Sofia saw the boy as a good friend and nice company. Because they were not in the same house the blonde would meet Abel in the great hall and that was fine. She made her way down to the Great Hall and walked in confident. She tried to see if Abel was already inside but it was very crowdy. The blonde decided to walk over to the food table and poured herself some pumpkin juice. A lot of girls were wearing dresses but Sofia chose for a orange jumpsuit with a pretty necklace. This way she could show her dance moves because she knew in a dress it was a bit harder. This party was all about dancing and that was the thing the Swedish girl liked the most. She hoped Abel would want to dance some with her because otherwise she was gonna look for somebody that wanted it.

Sofia tried to see if her brother was already inside, she had seen him with his suit and it was pretty cute. This would be her brother his first Yule Ball, she was curious if he had seen a girl he liked already. As she took a sip from her pumpkin juice she looked around and noticed Autumn and her brother Austin who she had met in the train. Austin was cute too and he was in the same house as Abel was, so the blonde saw a chance to speak with eachother. Sofia waited for her date to arrive, hopefully soon.

Abel had never thought he'd be one for dances, but the boy figured he should go and see what it was like before making his mind up about them. Of course bringing a date would be part of the whole experience, which is why he had asked the only girl he could think of asking right now. He liked spending time with Sofia, she was pretty, fun to be around and he considered her one of his better friends. So now the boy was making his way towards the Great Hall all suited up, ready for whatever the night would be bringing him. He mainly just hoped it would be loads of fun and he couldn't quite imagine why it wouldn't be. After all there would be music, food, drinks and good company. Once he had reached the entrance hall Abel couldn't spot Sofia and knowing her he figured she would have already made her way inside so he straightened his jacket and made his way inside. Even with all these people he figured it wouldn't be hard to spot her, as he knew she was one to stand out on occassions like this. Soon enough the boy noticed his date over at the table with drinks and made his way towards her. "Hey." He smiled as he reached her. "You look lovely."
