It had been another long day at the Inn. The guests were all taken care of, Reagan was watching the desk in case of any odd travelers coming in. And her? Well, Tyra was prepared. The fireplace in their bedroom was in her sights, the other marshmallow gun sitting on a footstool in immediate sight when he returned. Her note that accompanied the gun was simple- defend yourself. She was well hidden- for now. The terms could be arranged later, but Jason had been having a stressful week at the hospital and Tyra knew just how to fix it. She waited patiently, her own weapon trained on the fireplace, awaiting her best friends arrival.

Jason had been busy in the hospital lately. His shifts were long and lately there was a increase of people with flu symptoms. He felt sorry for not spending time with all the people he wanted to spend time with, so he took a rare half day off. The hospital was pretty close to the Inn that Tyra owned so he decided to walk to the Inn and enjoy a very cold beer there. When he arrived at the Inn he spotted a marsmallow gun sitting on a footstool. Along with a note written in Tyra her nearly perfect handwriting. Jason smiled and picked up the gun. ''I am going to find you, Tyra'' Jason laughed and started searching for his girl.

Tyra was surprised when Jason came in the door istead of the fireplace. She readjusted quickly, careful not to ruffle the curtain as she moved her gun. She waited until he had walked further the other way before pulling the trigger.

She laughed loudly as her marshmallow hit him right in the center of his backside. Grinning widely she dove to the left and into the open, raising her gun to fire again as he turned. Unless he was faster than her he was going to be hit square between the eyes with her next projectile.

"Surrender!" She yelled, her blond hair wild and her blue eyes sparkling with mirth

Jason came from work which meant that he couldn't come by fireplace. Hospitals didn't exactly have a fireplace in every corner. So he just used a muggle way of transport and arrived at the Inn that way. His work wasn't that far away and he didn't want to lose any more time by going home and cleaning himself up. When Jason walked further into the room a marshmallow hit the center of his backside. Jason laughed and looked around to see if he could counter Tyra's next attack. When Tyra suddenly moved up on him, he knew it was over. He couldn't win this unfair fight to begin with. Jason laughed, ''Okay, you win this time'' Jason muttered in defeat. He was tired and was really hoping for that cold beer that was waiting for him downstairs. ''Mhmhm, what do I owe you for this win'' Jason said lovingly and gave a swift peck on her cheek.

Tyra laughed as her husband so quickly surrendered. "You smiled, darling, I'll take that for a prize." She grinned, not surprised when he kissed her cheek. What did surprise her, though, was when she had the sudden urge to turn her head and kiss him on the lips. She stepped back, keeping herself in check for once. They had agreed this was a marriage of convenience, not love. She didn't want to risk that on a whim and lose her best friend. She needed him.

Turning her thoughts away from the subject, she patted him on the chest. "I made dinner. Go wash up and get changed, you smell like sick people," She teased him before turning and starting out of the room. She enjoyed being able to take care of him, especially when he spent so much time caring for others. It was rough, but something the woman understood. She would tell Jason about her day over dinner and ask about his.

Jason smiled sheepishly, he did smell like sick people. Well he smelled like the clean air that hung in hospitals, but that wasn't a big surprise. When Tyra said she made dinner Jason knew it was going to be a quick shower, Tyra was a great cook. Jason walked to the bathroom and stepped in the shower while throwing of clothing items one by one. When Jason was fully unclothed he turned on the shower. The hot liquid felt lovely on his skin. After a long day work he loved taking a shower, but he knew he couldn't be in long he knew there was dinner waiting for him.

Although he married Tyra out of convenience he was starting to actually like her as a partner. She was sweet and caring. She always actually knew what to say which was kind of cute. Jason turned off the shower and put on an easy t-shirt with a acid washed jeans. He now was following the smell of the lovely dinner that was waiting for him.

Tyra had just finished setting the table when she heard Jason coming down the hall. She smiled, feeling herself flush a little. She turned and began dividing the food between two plates. "Hurry up slowpoke," She called, "I made your favorite." She grinned to herself. Jason always seemed to enjoy her food. It was one of those things that made her day better. Like her siblings' letters and finding the perfect outfit.

She turned and set the food on the table as Jason entered the room. She glanced up through her bangs, smiling brightly at him. "Feel better now Jace?" She asked him, her tone softening a bit. If there was one thing that always got her it was just how handsome the man was.

When Tyra said she made her favourite he arrived at the table even faster. He sure was hungry and he didn't like to be called a slowpoke so he tried to beat Tyra to sitting at the dining table. When he arrived he spotted the food on the table. It looked as good as always and the smell that was coming from the table almost made him drool. Tyra's smile was lovely and that was something that made his day. 'Yes and I don't smell like sick people anymore which is an absolute win' Jason smiled brightly and sat down, his stomach growling. 'How was your day'' Although they weren't married out of love they were still very good friends and Jason was always interested in how Tyra's day had been.

Tyra smiled as she sat down across from Jason and began eating. "It was good. Your brother called today. Damien wants to come and see you for your birthday." She smiled at him. "I'm pretty sure we could have a room set up for him. Lord knows that boy is always eager to try my designs. Would you like him to come?" She asked, taking a sip from her tea.
