Tyra was the eldest born of Matthew and Emily, and grew up loving life with her three siblings. She had a normal school life, dating often and never for long, not finding any boys at school that could match her energy and passion for life. She spent two years studying fashion in France, where she met and moved in with Jason Gates, an older medical student looking for a roommate. When his mother threatened to cut him off for 'eloping', he and Tyra held a grand wedding ceremony- a scheme to continue supporting them until both were financially stable enough to stand on their own.
But over time, their friendship turned into something more, and their fake marriage became real as they slowly fell in love with each other. After nearly five years, they made their marriage official and soon after gave birth to triplets. The triplets are happy and healthy, and nearing three years old, are a handful even for the indomitable Tyra.
