Freya kept having to deliver roses to prefects and she was half-convinced it was all an elaborate ruse to get her arrested for... Something. Prefects could definitely arrest people and put them in school-jail. At least, Freya reasoned, she'd be free from the threat of detention once she graduated. Then she only had to worry about real wizard cops. She'd had to ask a few other students if they'd seen Delilah and was rolling through the corridors on her heelies until she found the girl. "Delilah Thorne! Do you have a moment to learn about Victorian flower language?" she sang, holding up her basket as she approached.
@Delilah Thorne

Delilah couldn't wait until this day was over. She had already received far more roses than she had expect, or wanted, and was just trying to make it though the day. She had been walking down the corridor to her next lesson when she was suddenly stopped by an older girl who had wheels on her shoes. She stopped short and looked at her curiously. "Do I what?" she asked, unsure of what she meant by that. "Do you have a rose for me?" she asked point blank. She wasn't in the mood to drag this whole thing out.

Freya got the impression that this girl wasn't the chatty type, however that just encouraged her more. "Sure do!" she said, handing over the rose. "Traditionally, yellow roses symbolised jealousy and not friendship, so you might want to be careful there." Freya warned. She doubted anybody would be using the Valentine's event to send secret coded feelings like that, but she almost wished someone would.

Sorry
-Sawyer

Delilah sighed when the older girl handed her a rose and apparently her lack of enthusiasm did dissuade her from explaining what ever it was she was trying to explain. She narrowed her eyes slightly as she mentioned yellow roses meant jealousy. She didn't believe that for a second but she also didn't have the energy to argue. "I'll keep that in mind." she replied dryly and opened the note. Instantly she frowned and felt a rush of emotion. Delilah hadn't spoken to Sawyer since last semester and while she knew she had been hard on him, she had meant most of what she said. But at the end of the day she knew she should be the one apologizing. She just wasn't ready for that yet and it didn't stop her from wrinkling up the note and shoving it to the bottom of her bag.
