Friendly Roses

[Professor Adorah Zumwalt]

Adorah recognized Wendall from being in her sister's year and from some clumsiness incidents he had been in. She walked up to the boy at the Hufflepuff table. "Wendall, right?" she asked, as she made her way to the table with a rose in her hand.

 

[Wendall Layton]

Wendall had already had two roses, so when a girl older than him appeared at his side asking his name, Wendall wasn't sure if there was another Wendall in the school. "Layton?" he asked with a confused and hesitant nod. Surely not. ​

 

[Professor Adorah Zumwalt]

Adorah was worried she had scared Wendall, as he seemed to be a little bit taken aback by her talking to him. She was sure this was the boy and pushed a piece of hair behind her ear. "Yeah, umm, I have a rose for you, and there's a note with it." She held out the yellow flower so the boy could take it from her.
