"Huh, yeah.." Daisy replied, surprised that he hadn't teased her about it like he had earlier when he called her elf. Glancing at her watch, Daisy realised that she was going to be late for the bus. "Oh, crap.. I'm going to miss the b- my appointment," she said quickly, not wanting Brodie to know that she was taking the 'commoners bus'. "It was err.. nice meeting you, Brodie," she said with a small smile, turning around quickly. Daisy kept her eyes peeled as she trotted down the now quite dark alleyway, watching out for anyone like this 'Luxen' Brodie had told her about. Turning the corner onto the main street, she felt relieved to be in the light once more.
