Closed Free Again

With his last class of the day over and done with, Knox had officially broken free from his responsibilities and was able to do what he wanted until dinner. What he wanted was at first a mystery to even himself, however as he ran out to the great lawn to do something fun with his time and get his pent up energy out from sitting down all day, the idea soon dawned on him that he wanted to climb a tree. To get a view of the castle grounds he hadn’t seen before and gather his bearings, to see all he had to explore and all he was yet to explore in one big panorama. With this in mind he strolled along the lawn to find the tallest tree he could that wasn’t part of the forbidden forest, soon finding the perfect one with branches overhanging the edge of the grass. He paused in front of it, dusting his hands together. It was tall, and would inevitably be a difficult climb, but he believed he was capable if he put his mind to it.​

Deciding not to waste any more of his time looking at the tree, Knox kicked off his shoes and got to climbing it, realizing only after he was between two branches that climbing the stairs of one of the towers would have been an easier means to a better view. He cringed at himself for not realizing earlier, but knew he had started climbing and may as well continue to make the most of his afternoon. Eventually he found a stable branch with a nice view of the grounds through the leaves and perched himself on it, taking in the scenery of the great lawn and the Hogwarts castle in the background with a smile on his face.​

Samantha had finally her classes for the day. She had been bored, with no idea with what to do. She had decided to walk around the school grounds, hoping for a little inspiration on what to do. As she was walking around, she had noticed from the distance that someone was climbing up one of the tallest trees on the school lawn. Curious and intrigued of who and why they were climbing up the tree, Samantha had made her way towards the tree. When she had gotten closer to the tree, she looked up to see who it was. "I guess this how we're going to meet up now" Samantha jokes with a smile and little laugh, once she realized on who it was that was climbing up on the tree.

Knox’s eyes darted to the ground below him as he heard a familiar voice, his face lighting up in a bright grin when he saw Samantha. It had been a while since they first met but Knox hadn’t forgotten how fun it was to climb that tree with her in Tākarokaro park, it was his first day as a free man after being grounded for what felt like an eternity and he wouldn’t have wanted to spend it any other way. It was such a fond memory of his and to see Samantha again now that he was back at Hogwarts made him want to recreate it over again to solidify their friendship. “Samantha!! I missed you!” He exclaimed happily, shifting from his place on the branch to reach an arm down to help her up to join him, while his other arm held a branch above him for stability. “If this is how we’re gonna meet up now, you better join me before it’s too late. The view of the castle is awesome.” He explained, still reaching his arm down so she could take his hand if she wanted to see the view for herself.​
