It was a lazy Sunday afternoon, and Emalia was bettering her knowledge of where things were in the Castle. She knew the Castle was something that she would probably never fully know where everything is, but it was nice to have a general idea of where things were. She had already been to quite a few places in the Castle, but finding her way back was a bit difficult. Emalia had a terrible sense of direction, but she wanted to learn where things were so she could stop following other students to classes. Emalia hated relying on other people, so it would be nice for her to be able to find the classroom at her own pace. It didn't take her long to find the Courtyard, but she found it quite a unique place. Her eyes fell over various students playing games, chatting to one other, and just milling around. Emalia hadn't seen either of her brothers all week, and wondered what they did during their spare time. It surprised Emalia that she wasn't sitting somewhere reading a book, but finding her way around was something she had to get done.
The Ravenclaw's brown eyes scoped the area, looking for something that would interest her. She found a bench near some students playing "Gobstones". Emalia had seen it played once before so she slightly knew the rules, but had never played it herself. Sitting on the bench, Emalia crossed her legs, resting her arm on her knee, her chin in her palm, watching the game intently.

Preston hadn't had much free time since classes began and it wasn't because classes took up all of his time. The Slytherin thought that his classes were ok, but he'd already decided which ones he was going to put effort into and which ones he didn't care about at all. His spare time had been filled with wandering the school, trying to learn the ins and outs and hanging out around his common room, which was quite entertaining. He hadn't even really met anyone from any other houses because he found his house mates to be more than sufficient sources of entertainment.

In a rare moment of boredom, the young Slytherin found himself wandering around the school alone. He didn't want to wander up the stairs though so he made his way to the courtyard he had discovered the other day. It was a very nice day, a lazy day best suited for doing absolutely nothing. The courtyard wasn't packed but it was certainly full, though Preston didn't know anyone there. Spotting a soccer ball that no one seemed to be using, Preston wandered to it and began to kick it around. A poorly placed kick sent it speeding towards a group of kids playing some sort of game. He jogged slowly towards the group, wondering if the ball was going to bang into anyone.
