Open First Year Quidditch Practice

Lucas was even more relieved when a professor arrived. From what he knew, Professor Holland was pretty fair. He nodded in agreement with Stan's words. "We were here for a practice." He said quietly. "But when I came here Allison had fallen off her broom..." He then hesitated. "She did get pretty mad at him and hit him, I think, so maybe he is really hurt." He added uncertainly, looking at the Slytherin. "But I do really think he was the one being mean first." He said quickly, not looking at the Gryffindors as he was afraid they'd be angry with him for saying that. But what if the Slytherin really did get a concussion or something, and they didn't take him seriously?

Sapphire looked up to the professor. "I got here in time to see him release the bludgers, knock them at those two and try to run, that one jumped in his way so he stunned him. She got knocked off her broom by a bludger he hit but rushed him when she saw the other one go down, that's when I got over here to pull her off." She explained to the professor, pointing out each kid. "I can take this one to the hospital wing, the girl can take him to the wing and get her ribs checked at the same time, then I'll move him to Styx but those two are Gryffindors, I think, could you take that?" She offered her plan to the Professor. "Or I could run them to Kingsley?" She mused.

Edward hated the situation that he was seeing and knew that he had to act otherwise they would never get to do something like this again. He took a step forwards "Professor this is my fault, I should be the only one punished. I noticed the storage room to the Quidditch supplies was left open and figured with Quidditch picking back up, it would be a good chance for some of the first years to practice" Edward tried to explain before anyone could interrupt him. "It was obviously stupid given everything that has happened, but if I hadn't borrowed the supplies than nobody would have gotten hurt so logically I'm the one that needs to be punished and not any of them" Edward said simply. He didn't like the idea of helping the Slytherin boy but if it helped Allison and Stan than taking the blame would be worth it.

Grace listened to the different accounts of what happened, especially when the prefect explained the Slytherin boy had released the bludgers and stunned the other boy. She gave him a stern look at that, as he definitely hadn't mentioned that himself. She pondered what to do, and then the other Gryffindor boy spoke. She nodded at his words, considering it. "Thank you for being so honest." She told him. "You should have asked me for assistance during a practice like that instead of taking Quidditch supplies out of the shack without asking and without supervision. If you want to organize something like this properly, please talk to me soon so I can plan it properly." She told him. "I'll discuss your involvement with your head of house, as well." She added. Then she looked at the Prefect. "Alright, why don't you take those three to the hospital wing to be sure." She said, pointing at the boy who had been stunned, the Slytherin, and the girl who had been hit. "I'll talk to both heads of houses as soon as I'm done cleaning up this mess." She told her, gesturing to the flying bludgers in the air with a small sigh. "And tell her exactly what happened here." She turned her gaze to Luxen again, frowning. "I trust you're going to be in trouble with Professor Styx for hurting other students. You have to know better than that." She told him. She wasn't sure what Professor Kingsley would make of the three Gryffindors, but guessed she wouldn't be too pleased either. "You can escort them to the hospital wing." She told Sapphire. "Perhaps you two could help me clean up the pitch?" She asked the boy who had taken responsibility, as well as the Hufflepuff boy.

Luxen had to think damage control or at least as much as could be gain. "Before we go, I just want to apologies for my prank, it was in poor taste. I don't apologies however for defending myself from the boy that tried to attack me and don't feel that it should be held against me that I chose the most effective method of defense" Luxen said loudly, they would never believe if he was suddenly remorseful for the whole incident like Saint Elric but going for the simple apology was something that could be believed since Luxen hadn't been in trouble before.

Besides, apologizing for taking down Stan was simply ridiculous, since taking him out wasn't even something Luxen could brag about. Everyone in the school knew from classes that Stan was nothing without his little girlfriend. Luxen refused to apologies for something that hadn't actually provided any reward for Luxen, the idiot had been in the way and thus needed to be removed. Luxen would face whatever punishment was in store for him. While it did effect his perfect record, none of the best leaders were squeaky clean and perhaps this would be a story that could serve to his advantage one day. It was always good to look on the positive side of things.
