[Yellow Rose for @Oscar Davies ]

Elliot had hoped after a few years delivering roses, he'd have a system down for finding people, but then every year he got roses for more and more students he'd never heard of before. He'd figured he'd just have to bite the bullet this year and start asking at house tables, hoping his Prefect badge made the whole thing slightly less embarrassing. "Hey, has anyone seen Oscar Davies?" Elliot called to the Ravenclaw table, holding up his rose basket hopefully.

When Oscar had sent in his own rose for the Rose Giving event, he had no idea how big the event actually was. He enjoyed watching the little interactions the deliverers in the Great Hall had, though he wasn't a big fan of all the shouting that came along with it. He was feeding his Venus flytrap when he heard his own name being called out. He glanced up to see who it was and raised his hand when it appeared to be one of the Prefects. For a moment, Oscar thought that he had done something wrong but then he saw the basket the boy was holding up. ''Here, I'm Oscar Davies,'' he replied.

Elliot lowered his basket when a student not too far down table raised his hand, relieved he hadn't needed to do that for too long. "Hey, Oscar. I've got a rose for you," He said with a small smile, fishing out the yellow rose and its note to pass over to the younger student.
Dear Oscar,

I am glad to have met you in the Hogwarts Express.

Rose

Oscar frowned at the rose when he took both the rose and the note from the older boy. Who would send him a rose? And why? He didn't think that he had done anything special to be receiving a rose from someone. Turning his attention to the note next, the boy smiled as he read the words written inside of it. It was nice of Rose to send him a rose - something he found quite funny for some reason. ''Thank you,'' Oscar said, looking back up at the other boy.

Despite how much Elliot hated trying to track down students he didn't know, it was still nice to hand out a rose that obviously made someone else smile. He smiled in response as Oscar read his note, clearly pleased with whatever was on it. "You're welcome, uh Happy Valentine's."
