Alice had left the study group a little late this year, but it seemed like there was hardly any time to do anything these days. But the fifth years wouldn't have exams at the end of the semester, so this final week seemed like a nice time to get some studying in for the OWLs at the end of the year instead. Maybe it would be smart to make a comprehensive summary of all her notes for the different subjects she'd had this semester, as she wouldn't have these classes again before the OWLs at the end of the year. Alice had spread the message for the study group the same way she usually did, telling her classmates and also hanging up a few posters in case some new fifth years wanted to join. She hoped maybe the new transfer would feel like joining, as she felt like it would be a good way to make new friends. Alice had claimed their usual table, placing down snacks, parchment, quills and ink for everyone to use. She then grabbed her books and stacked them in the order she wanted to study in, looking around to see if any of her friends or classmates were approaching.

Elio had been attending Alice's study sessions for as long as he could remember. Even when he was younger and hadn't cared too much about his grades, he found it was a good way for the group of friends to get together and help each other. Now that the Gryffindor was doing his best to pass his OWLs though, he was more sure than ever that he was actually going to have to concentrate, so when he heard that one of his best friends was holding her session, he was delighted."Hey Alice," he said upon entering, helping himself to a handful of snacks before dropping into one of the seats opposite the Hufflepuff. There was usually good turn out for these so Elio expected he was just a little earlier than usual. "How's it going?" The Gryffindor asked with a smile. He supposed it was naturally but it was like the older they got, the less chance they really had to just hang out with their friends.

Vader had been glad that the study group was back on, he could understand why it hadn’t really been on this semester, given that they all had exams in the next semester, but so many of his hours were still filled with studying. So of course he would want to study with others. Vader’s sleep hadn’t been great over the last few days as the semester was beginning to wind down, but it was no where near as bad as the beginning of the semester. Worse than most others, but Vader was thankful for any amount of rest that he could get. He dreaded how bad it would be come the end of the next semester, when he had the huge accio deadline and the work he needed to do for the OWLs. But, he needed to focus onthe end of this semester. The yuleball and the break up he would eventually do. Vader stepped into the room where he knew alice was hosting the meeting. ”Hey Alice,” he greeted with a small expression, he gave a little smile as he took a seat in the room, and began pulling out books and notes. "Hey Elio," he greeted his roommate as he got himself settled and ready to study.

Alice lined up a few different colors of ink, as she liked to use different colors in her study notes. She smiled as she heard someone approach, looking up to see Elio. "Hi!" She said back, brightly. "It's going well, I've been studying a lot." She admitted. She was glad to see Vader here, though he looked as tired as he did all the time. She hoped the OWL year wasn't getting to him too much. "Hi Vader!" She said with a smile. "Grab a snack."

Ava knew studying was pointless. No matter how hard she tried she just couldn't focus. But she was going to try anyway. She trudged in to the meeting, hair up and a pout already on her face. She brightened when she saw the room. "Look!" She chirped brightly, "All my favorite people!" She dropped her bag in the chair next to Vader, slumping over his shoulders dramatically. "Doing the thing I hate. We need a movie night instead," she pouted.

Elio smiled when Alice said she’d been studying. It seemed like that was all they did sometimes. Vader joined too and he sent his roommate a wave, wondering if there were other places he needed to be rather than at a study session. He studied non stop when he wasn’t working on Accio! and maybe he needed a break more than anyone. Another familiar face joined the room and he grinned at Ava, “See now I like that idea,” he agreed, glad to see that Ava and Vader seemed to be back to their usual friendly selves. Ava had helped Elio out a lot recently so he was happy to see that she was happy too. “We work, we play. It’s all about balance..” he added. Things were only going to get busier for them the older they got, so it was probably a good idea to learn how to manage their work loads now rather than later.

Ilija knew he hadn't made much of an effort to be around his peers that semester. Well, that was a lie, he had made an effort, but he hadn't exactly been able to go through with what he wanted to do. After deliberating for most of the morning whether or not to attend the study session, a group he'd been with for years, the fifth year managed to finally push himself towards their usual meeting point. His heart was racing though as the Hufflepuff stood outside the door. He wanted to go in, and he wanted to act like everything was normal, but he couldn't stop the flush on his cheeks, and his sweaty palms as he knew panic would be back soon. He knew things were getting worse for him. He'd hoped after he'd gotten a diagnosis that things would be on the rise, but as Ilija opened the door just a little and spotted the small group of people Alice had gotten together once more, he felt his heart in his throat. No, this was the hardest part. And right now, nothing he could do was getting to grips with his anxieties. The fifth year backtracked and left, hoping he hadn't been spotted by any of his classmates as he jogged towards the lavatories, hoping the room was vacant and he could get a chance to breath.
