Ava sat at the Head table chatting away to the staff around her, waiting for all the students to arrive. She was sure that they were just as excited about the food as she was, so it wasn't long before the Hall filled out. The Professor was happy about the red decoration hanging around the Hall, the winner of the House Cup quite obvious. Ava rose and the chatter in the Hall quietened out as she cleared her throat to speak.
"Welcome everyone the final feast of this year. Before we tuck in, I just have a few words to say. A very big congratulations to the winner of our House Cup this year - as you can all see, for the third year running, the winner is Gryffindor!" She exclaimed, clapping along with the cheers from the winning house. The Headmistress was surprised about their Top Point Earner however, as she knew the boy who had won it had caused quite a row, and wasn't the best behaved. She was sure the boy in question didn't deserve to receive any sort of reward, but the points never lied; therefore neither could she. "I know that Professor Kingsley is very proud of you all, and very happy to have the Cup in her office for yet another year." She laughed. "Also a very big congratulations to our Top House Point Earners this year - For Gryffindor and the Top Point Earner, Minoas Stratis earned 584 points for his House! For Slytherin, congratulations to Sergei Zhefarovich who earned 562 for his House! For Hufflepuff, congratulations to Damon Kyle for earning 557 for his House! And congratulations to Bryce Chamberlin for earning 570 points for Ravenclaw! Well done everyone, especially the last three boys who were the top of their House for the Second Year running!" Ava happily said, clapping along with the rest of the Hall.
"Congratulations to everyone for this year, you have made us all very proud. Have a fantastic holiday everyone! Be safe and empty out your brains in preparation to learn next year! And now we eat!" Ava laughed as the food appeared on the tables before sitting down, and helping herself to a large portion of food.

At this point, the professor was just as eager as her students to get her summer started. The woman had big plans for her vacation, two tickets to a quidditch game being just one of the highlights. As the Headmistress rose to address the group, Cynd looked up to her left at the woman as she spoke. With a wide grin, the professor looked to the Gryffindor table and clapped for her students as they celebrated. She couldn't believe that they had kept this up for three years. The Head of House had grown quite used to having the House Cup in her office and she hoped that the next crop of Gryffindors were going to help to keep it there.

As the Headmistress continued, the smile fell off the professor's face. She didn't look back to her table because she knew that she would not find Minoas there. The woman would have been just as happy if he was not present at all. How he had managed to secure enough points to become the Top Points Earner was beyond her, and the professor was sure that had she paid more attention and realized that she would have taken far more points from the boy to ensure that he didn't win that prize. The woman clapped politely for the other students, but she was more excited for the food to arrive. As she tucked into some salad, Cyndi turned to Ava to find out about her plans for the summer.

Aphrodite was really happy that Gryffindor had won the house cup once again. Though she knew she was being sort of mean, she had a really fun time playfully teasing Isaia over the matter. It was all in good fun though. Aphrodite wasn't the top points earner for her house either, but in her opinion if the person who won it only cared about being on top like that, then they probably weren't a very good Gryffindor. Aphrodite had tried her best, and behaved. That was pretty good in the Prefect's books. Why be the best when you could try your best instead and have people like you a lot more. It used to be nothing but a big competition for Aphrodite when it came to stuff like this, but she had settled down a lot over the past couple of years. "It's hard to believe that I'm going to be a Seventh Year next year. I have no idea how I'm going to survive without Isaia. Especially with the NEWT's coming!" Aphrodite was one of those people that freaked out over exams and let it carry over to her scores. Isaia was usually able to keep her focused and less worried about her results and more about actually studying so she felt more confident that she knew what she was testing on.

After the announcements, Aphrodite clapped. A new year was going to begin soon, and Aphrodite just hoped she was ready to take all the responsibilities that being one of the oldest in the schools brought with it. When the Feast appeared, Aphrodite dug in along with everyone else. Right now, she wanted to focus on the fact that she had a break coming up. Which meant she could go home, and relax. Alyssa was going to be having her baby really soon too so Aphrodite would try to help her out however she could. Plus there was this awesome feast! Aphrodite was sure that she was going to be eating her fill right now. It wasn't often that she had the opportunity to have this much food.

Kaia hoped she wouldn't get caught, but she was sitting at the wrong table. As much as she would love to be with her house at their table, celebrating the fact that it was the end of the year and all, she would much rather sit with Zayne. Even though everyone else thought they were stupid for getting engaged so young, Kaia was finally used to the idea of becoming Mrs. Kaia Baros someday. They both agreed to wait until after they Graduated to actually get married and stuff, but their engagement was like their way of saying that they were waiting for one another. "Are you excited to be a Seventh year? Like it or not, we're going to study like crazy for the NEWT's. I can't have a husband that doesn't have a decent job." Kaia knew fully well that Zayne didn't need to be lectured, nor did he like to be lectured. But at the same time, Kaia did it so often he was probably used to it by now. The Ravenclaw Prefect liked things to be perfect. Silently, she let her pale hand link it's fingers with his, as they held hands. Kaia and Zayne were engaged, but they didn't show an overwhelming amount of affection either. They often held hands, and hugged. Every one and awhile they shared a kiss too. But they weren't all over each other.

For the most part, they just hung out. They sat, and talked, and had adventures just like they had when they were kids. Zayne and Kaia were still best friends, only now they were also lovers who had intentions of getting married when they were a bit older. At the end of the speech, Kaia clapped and glanced at Zayne, wondering what he was thinking about. When the feast began, Kaia ate only a little bit. Thinking about all the things she had to do next year kind of killed her appetite.

Isaia Romanes was a little nervous about leaving the school. There was no choice but for him to leave the school. Sighing, he entered the Great Hall, and he found his seat at the Ravenclaw table. He knew that Gryffindor won, since Aphrodite had teased him enough over it. Isaia heard the announcements, and he clapped his hands. He grinned, and then he went over to Aphrodite's table, and took her by the hand. With a smooth motion, he held out a ring. He said with a grin, "This is a promise ring. I want us to promise each other that we will marry, as soon as I can afford an engagement ring. So, how about promising me that we will get engaged after you graduate?" To his amazement, she had said yes and she was as happy as he was! Isaia gave her a hug and a tender kiss before they could eat together once more. This was the last time when he would ever eat here, and he frowned a bit. He gave her a hug and he hoped that he would be able to let the year without Aphrodite around go by fast. Isaia started eating with his girlfriend, and he could not wait until they were together again, after a few months from now, they would not be anymore.

It had been far too quiet for far too long. In the metaphoric sense, anyways. Hogwarts was never truly quiet in the traditional sense, with the bustle of students, the echo of laughter down the hall, the rustling of parchment and owl feathers. Thank Merlin he has another year, one more year to enjoy his classes and everything about the castle. He could barely fathom on what will happen next year, new students and hopefully new friends to gain. Yerik Rhys promised to himself that in his seventh year he'll make is worth the wait, he'll make it his own and he will rule it. No one can stop him, other than himself. In his own ways, he can accomplish all his goals and continue accomplishing the rest when he graduates. As he entered the Great Hall, the sixth year could feel his whole body tense up. Maybe because some students were looking at him or maybe because he was always like this. Approaching the Ravenclaw Tables, he was just in time to hear their Headmistress speech. Maybe when he'd reached his fourties he'll think of applying to be a Head Master, just a simple dream of his. He took his seat and clapped both of his hands, seeing everyone's smiles gather up the room. Soon it'll be sorting and perhaps they'll have a handful of transfers too. He couldn't help feel anxious at the same time excited, with new prefect and new head people to be announced later on. What a joy it must be to be one, he knows the feeling would be massive, an explosion of happiness.

For the moment, though, Yerik sat there slowly looking at the rest of the prefects. They seems to have it all planned out for them, just yesterday he heard that a couple, prefects; are now engaged. Which made him think if he could ever have one of those arranged marriage type of things, her father would certainly agree though. Or just maybe he's been downing himself lately, being jealous of the people around him and himself being single. Who would like him? When he's been to caught up with his studies, the newspaper and quidditch both at the same time. Ridiculous. He can't even have a stable friend, other than his siblings. In this moment, he would always bring down himself, especially now that one more year and it'll be over. He couldn't take it, the feeling of being forgotten. Oblivion, he heated the thought of being forgotten. The prefect continued to look at the rest of his fellow prefects, all them are happy. Quickly, he pinched himself just to wake up from his nightmare, if a dream can occur in daylight, it would be a form of nightmare for the raven. He dared himself not to get lost from his thoughts once more, so he focused himself on the feast that was in front of them all.
