Ava sat at the Head table chatting away to the staff around her, waiting for all the students to arrive. She was sure that they were just as excited about the food as she was, so it wasn't long before the Hall filled out. The Professor was happy about the red decoration hanging around the Hall, the winner of the House Cup quite obvious. Ava rose and the chatter in the Hall quietened out as she cleared her throat to speak.
"Welcome everyone the final feast of this year. Before we tuck in, I just have a few words to say. A very big congratulations to the winner of our House Cup this year - as you can all see, for the second year running, the winner is Gryffindor!" She exclaimed, clapping along with the cheers from the winning house. "I know that Professor Kingsley is very proud of you all, and very happy to have the Cup in her office again." She laughed. "Also a very big congratulations to our Top House Point Earners this year - For Gryffindor, congratulations to Nikandros Matthias, who earned 649 points for their House! For Slytherin, congratulations to Sergei Zhefarovich who earned 644 for their House! For Hufflepuff, congratulations to Damon Kyle for earning 632 for his House! And the Top Overall Points Achiever as well as the top of his House, congratulations to Bryce Chamberlin for earning 656 points! Well done everyone!" Ava happily said, clapping along with the rest of the Hall.
"Congratulations to everyone for this year, you have made us all very proud. Have a fantastic holiday everyone! Be safe and empty out your brains in preparation to learn next year! And now we eat!" Ava laughed as the food appeared on the tables before sitting down, and helping herself to a large portion of food.

Hayley sat at the Ravenclaw table, her black robes draped over her slender frame. Being at Hogwarts had helped pad her skinny body out a little, and she was fast growing into a charming young witch. She listened in respectful silence to the headmistress as she spoke. It was a shame Ravenclaw had not won the house cup. Still, third place was not a wholly terrible feat. And the rest of the Ravenclaw table seemed nonetheless dampened in spirit by this defeat.
She listened as each point earner was announced, and all were wished well and to enjoy the holidays. Hayley cheered and applauded as Professor Davershire seated herself, and food began to materialise on every table of every variety. Her mouth was watering at the sight of it. "Mmm," she smiled, unable to contain herself a moment longer and serving herself a fair helping of this and that and a little more of that. She poured herself a pumpkin juice and turned to her fellow Ravenclaws. "Here's to a spectacular first year!"

Charlotte had dressed for the occasion. It was the simple uniform, and a slightly too small skirt, since the one she own was from when she had first come to the school, and it had then been the right length, if a bit too long. That could not be said now. She was fairly nervous, it was the end of term, and she hadn't been a great student. She wasn't very good at going to classes, knowing how little it really meant at the end of the day. She was just going to be married off. Much like most of her family. Modern times or not, tradition still lived strong within her family. She was however happy to have made it most of this term without being taken back home. Without having to go to countless things back home. It was nice. Simple. The girl of course knew that Hufflepuff hadn't won the cup. That wasn't something that bothered her, she was just happy to go sit with the others in her class, and enjoy herself. Which easily done, because she always enjoyed herself. The uniform, the black robes, really did nothing for her, or so she always said. In her eyes, they were like wearing a thick and warm bin bag. it was why, as soon as everyone had taken there seat, she carefully pulled off the robe and placed it at her feet. She had long legs, and a small waist, Both helped by the shoes she wore. Creating seemingly endless legs. She looked up at the main table where the winners would be announced. She smiled as Gryffindor were announced the winners. Giving a small, polite clap for the people within that house, then as the professor continued with who had won the most amount of house points. She clapped slightly louder for the hufflepuff name that was hidden within the lot. Proud to say the least about the boy's amazing collection of house points. Smiling to herself, happy to be heading home, and ready for her seventh, and final year of schooling, she began to eat the food that had appeared.

First year was over. And Wes was fairly indifferent about this. He cared about as much as was the minimum requirement. He wasn't bothered about exams, he had time to improve in general. He had time to do more and learn more. It would be nice for a while to just not have to think or bother with any classes. He was looking forward to spending some time with his mother in California, and some time with his father in New York, both of which would be very fun for him, since all of his old friends would be around. People he actually cared about a little more than the ones he had met in school. The folks he had met in school were nice but by no means awesome. Well, apart from that girl, Rose, she was a lot of fun, and the guy Kyle. Both of whom were gryffindors, but both he liked more than most. Which was saying something considering he really didn't like most people about this school. They were all in his eyes, super annoying. He knew he was. He knew he was annoying, but he didn't try harder to be more annoying than he already was. He just went around doing what was best for him, this made him more like a brat than anything else. Wes sat himself down at the Slytherin table and told his stomach to be quiet as he had to wait just that little bit longer for food. One thing he didn't really like was waiting for food. It was long and hard, and he disliked it a lot. But, he couldn't do anything about it. he had to just wait it out after all the food would not appear until the professor had finished speaking. He really had no choice, which the boy believed was the worst thing ever. After a moments small silence washing over the professor began. Slytherin, as he knew had not won the cup. Which he was alright with, it was just a cup. It meant nothing. And the top points were announced, something else Wes didn't care too much for. After that was over, the professor finished and the food appeared. He was very happy to then be able to just tuck into some food and look forward to the next term. He was now fairly bored of being a first year. He was ready to move on up.

Kyle walked in his Gryffindor uniform to the Great Hall with a bunch of other first years. As he did so he thought about all the people he had met this year. From Slytherin there was Kieran and Wes. He had different experiences with both of them. Kieran had been with his twin Kelsey from Hufflepuff and he had met them at the Yule Ball which he had attended with Rose. Wes on the other hand had made one of his greatest pranks possible. He would forever like that guy simply because he was awesome. As he entered he spotted Wes sitting with other Slytherins. He gave him a warm smile as he headed along the table to sit where some space was empty for first years. He also spotted his friend Hayley from Ravenclaw. She had saved him from failing Herbology. He had gotten Outstanding in all the subjects and had passed Herbology. This was just the best time of his life so far. He mouthed her a 'Hi' and flashed her a smile before he took a seat on his own table. Other Ravenclaw encounter was with Biutin earlier that year but he had seen little of her after that. He kept his thoughts on a hold as he heard the Headmistress speak.

Kyle cheered loudly and clapped as she announced the winner house for the year. They had not got the Qudditch cup but they had won this. He was happy. He was not however very pleased to hear Nikandros's name for being the highest point earner for Gryffindor. Kyle wondered how someone who was not grateful for being in Gryffindor would have earned so many points for the house. His thoughts also traced back to the time when he had lost twenty house points. Maybe if he hadn't his name could be out there too.Trying to take away negative thoughts Kyle focused back on happy memories. Some of the Gryffindor first years like Rose, Indiana and Tybalt were awesome and he was glad to have them in his house. As the feast appeared on the tables, Kyle happily made himself a plate of little of everything and started eating his meal looking forward to his holidays in London and coming back to the awesome place as a second year.
