[Poppy Perkins]

(Open after Anna posts with Knox)

Poppy stood excitedly in the Great Hall and was nearly bouncing as she waited for Knox to meet her. She looked around and was in awe as usual with the decorations. She was always impressed how they were able to transform the place they usually had their meals into what felt like a completely different place. Looking towards the ceiling she saw some of the house ghosts had come out to watch the festivities and Poppy started to wonder if the ghost she had talked to with Iris and Juniper last year would make an appearance tonight. She blinked a few times, realizing she had gotten distracted and looked around for Knox again to see if he had arrived. Eventually she spotted him and waved him down.

It felt like Knox was finally part of a real school experience and making memories he would cherish forever, organizing a group costume with Poppy for the Halloween feast. It wasn’t the most difficult costume to put together, dressing up as a cartoon character with a black turtle neck and a red t shirt, and generally normal clothing, but all the pieces started to come together for Knox to really and truly look the part of Ron Stoppable as he got ready for the night ahead. He had even done his best to draw on fake freckles to add to his image, and proudly walked to the great hall with the small cardboard cut out of Rufus on his shoulder. He smiled widely when he saw Poppy in her matching Kim Possible costume, waving to her and then running to approach her. “Oh wow, we look so good!! We’re killing it!” Knox exclaimed, not really focusing on the decorations or the costumes of the other students around them, he was so focused on how great his and Poppy’s costumes had turned out. “Do we wanna run around like spies, or get snacks or something first?” He asked, wanting to at least make one trip to the snack table that night.​

Poppy smiled as Knox approached and couldn’t help but laughed at the cardboard Rufus she had made for him to wear on his shoulder. Normally she drew flowers and other more whimsical things so drawing a cartoon from memory had been a little tricky. But Knox seemed to love it and it really pulled the costume together. “We totally do!” she exclaimed in agreement. “I’d say we have a pretty good shot at winning best group costume.” she said. She wasn’t a very competitive person but she did manage to win the most traditional costume her first year and she hoped maybe she’d be lucky again. “Yes! To all of that!” Poppy agreed excitedly. “I think we should definitely start with snacks.” she said seriously, knowing Knox would be itching for some of the special Halloween treats. “Then we can play some games and run around like spies while we do it.” she finished with a giggle.

Knox smiled when Poppy mentioned winning part of the costume contest. It was something Knox had admittedly thought about, but he honestly was just happy to have such an awesome group costume with his friend, regardless if they won anything or not. Knox just wanted to have fun and make memories and would be happy either way. “Awesome, come on.” Knox said, happy Poppy agreed they should start with snacks as he turned to head to the table with all the sweets, rubbing his hands together for a moment as he looked at what was available. There were so many options, though Knox soon settled on picking up a pumpkin shaped lollipop, unwrapping it and placing it in his mouth. “Want one?” He asked his friend, picking up one for her and a few more for himself that he placed in the pocket of his jacket to save for later.​

Poppy followed Knox to the snack table and started to inspect all of the food that was laid out. She was considering a cookie until Knox offered her a pumpkin shaped lollipop, "Oh, yes please!" she said cheerfully as she grabbed the candy and unwrapped it quickly. "Do you want to play a game?" she mumbled with the candy in her mouth. "We can try bobbing for apples." she suggested and pointed out where the tubs of apples were set up.
