[Professor Misha Haden]

Professor Haden leads the two contestants to the stage, appointing them into the north or south part of the stage. He tells the rules as well as the point system. He walks off the stage and orders the duel to begin, as he keeps a watchful eye.

All right, make sure that you use the spell list for guidance. No board rule breaking is acceptable. Have fun! I have a copy of the code that you should use with every post. Remember, when you are knocked out, unable to shoot anymore spells, you lost. And if you run out of points, you lose.

About time. Havoc had been itching to duel but he was left out due to an odd number of fourth years. Now, he was facing off against Dina Stanely, someone he allowed to hang around him, and someone that he was currently pulling the strings on. Havoc stood where he was supposed to, and bowed to his opponent. He raised up, and aimed his wand. He hoped that she did not expect him to go easy on her. "Confundo," Havoc intoned, casting the first spell.

Dina liked Havoc, she felt bad that he got stuck with the stigma of his brother when he'd been nothing if not nice to her. She didn't have a whole handful of friends, being so boisterous, but Havoc seemed to take it in his stride and she liked him for that. She bowed back at him and quickly blocked the spell he cast at her. Nothing too serious yet, she hoped they stayed within the bounds of non harmful spells, but these things escalated pretty easily. She cast the bedazzling hex and waited to see if it would affect him.

This would surely get interesting. Maybe Havoc should play around with a few spells first, before escalating things to where they were out of control. Havoc blocked her spell with a shield, quickly thought over the spells he knew, before sending out the almost harmless Trip jinx in her direction.

Dina smiled at Havoc as she deflected his spell. It was nice to be duelling a friend, maybe this is how they could settle any potential arguments, not that she foresaw any of course. "Protego, Rictasempra!" She was going to have as much fun as she could.
