Mitch wanted to win but this was something that she knew she couldn't win for today. But she was not backing out without a fight. And so she continued to cast Protego to protect herself and shot spells back at the Slytherin. "Expelliarmus!"

Sage smirked at the girl, who while she had easily blocked her spell, could tell that she was most likely going to win this. She wasn't one to back down. She wasn't going to step away from this as the loser. She had too much riding on it. "Protego" She blocked with ease. Deciding that she would hold back on the taunting for now at least, "Petrificus Totalus" Sage was sure that it would be soon that she'd be able to beat her.

Mitch was lagging and panting by the time Sage had blocked her spell and so she had not noticed her casting the second spell and it came her way and before she knew it her body stiffened, she lost consciousness and her body fell with a thump.

Professor Styx watched as the Hufflepuff girl finally dropped. He walked into the stage, revived the girl before announcing, "Sage Ottavi is the winner."
