Professor Misha Haden had been a bit surprised to be asked to help out, he didn't often, but he didn't mind it. Though of course he was feeling a little more tired than usual with the boys keeping him awake. It was nice though, they were adorable. He looked at the two students whose duel he was overseeing. "Let's keep this clean," he said, before inviting them to get started.

The duel begins now. You have 24 hours from this to post your first reply, or face disqualification. Once both duelists have posted, you will have 24 hours from your opponents post to reply, or be disqualified. Ensure that you use the spell list for guidance on age-appropriate spells, and read over the dueling rules and points system. Please also remember site rules apply, including power/god modding. You can find the site rules here. Duels will run until there is a winner or until 6 IRL days have passed, in which case the winner will be chosen by RNG. If you are knocked out or otherwise disarmed/incapacitated, or if you run out of points, you will lose and the duel will end. Have fun!

Spectators are allowed to post in this topic once per competitors post, but are forbidden from directly interfering with the duels. Duelers cannot cast spells at the spectators or face disqualification.

Teddy wasn't quite sure what to make of Dante Styx. They weren't friends but not rivals either. Acquaintances he supposed although Teddy got the feeling Dante wasn't too happy with him since his duel with Aurora. He faced him on the platform and bowed, "You heard the professor, keep it clean. Stupefy" Teddy said, starting the duel with a simple spell.

Dante was more than ready for this, ever since he saw Teddy turn his fiancee Aurora bald. And then Teddy said to keep it clean. No, hell no, he was not going to keep it clean. He was going to show this Gryffindor a thing or two! He blocked the spell with a Protego, and shot back a forceful Diffindo.

Surely that would not have decapitated him, would it? "Don't be so dramatic, Pirrip!" Dante shouted, as he blocked the incoming spell with a Protego. Maybe instead of cutting hair, he should do something else with it. He cast the Fur growing spell at the Prefect.

Aura wasn't sure she had expected for Teddy and Dante to end up being opposite each other, but here she was. She was wearing a brunette wig at the moment (she'd rather grown to enjoy them actually) and she had her hands crushed into he banister watching, silent, to see how things would play out.​
 
Audrey was frustrated that she couldn't seem to break through in duels, but she'd just have to support Teddy this time around. After all, she hadn't lost to him for a change. She had lost to Dante, but it had been much closer, and by that logic there was no way Teddy should lose since she'd never pushed a duel with Teddy quite as close as that. Unquestionable proof, thought Audrey, smugly. Clad in a red sweater, she watched carefully, trying to think up a clever cheer to call out.

Teddy cast "Protego!" he didn't fancy looking like a werewolf for the remainder of the duel. Then his mouth dramatically fell open in sheer offense as Dante called him dramatic. Teddy pressed a hand to his chest. "Dramatic? Me? I've never been so insulted." He replied, then sent the Conjunctivitis curse towards Dante. He glanced quickly at Audrey, noticing she was there in red which gave him a little boost of confidence, not that he was lacking in any of that.

How was he not being dramatic right now? Dante was in absolute awe. This had to be a joke, right? Because of that, he had to dodge the next spell. He shouted, "If we had the superlatives, you would be my vote for drama king! A dirty one because you turned a girl bald!" He sent out the slug vomiting spell.

Teddy knew immediately what Dante was referring to and cast "Protego!" before replying with, "Did I though? Or was Aurora just too slow blocking my hex in a school sanctioned dueling tournament?" Teddy questioned, "Here, let's see if you can do better." Then Teddy cast the instant scalping hex at Dante too.

Teddy had a point. Still, Dante was not one to listen to reason and logic. And hell no, he was not going to go bald. He loved his unruly hair too much. He blocked it, and countered with an Ear Leeks jinx.

Teddy took Dante's silence as agreement, then blocked and sent, "Amphbian Eructo. Ten showed me that spell but I'm not totally sure what it does yet." In other words, he'd like Dante to demonstrate for him.

Ten heard someone calling out about a drama king, in other words, her name was called. She turned to see Teddy battling out against Dante after he'd defeated her, and watched as it unfolded. She was unusually quiet until Teddy pulled out the very spell she'd tried to surprise him with, and she chuckled realising that meant she'd known more than the tournament streak winner himself. Ten too was curious, and watched intently to see what would happen.​

Like Teddy, he didnt know what that spell did. He dodged it but he knew some things about the spell. Frogs. Erupt. But from where? Dante did not want to find out either. He sent out a Reducto in counter.

Teddy's attention faltered looking at the audience. It was just for just a second and that second was all it took to realise he was too late to block. Teddy's only option was to jump backwards to the back edge of the platform to be out of the way of reducto. His heel slipped over the edge of the platform and for a split second, he thought he was going fall off. He shifted his weight forward and steadied his footing again, looking at the damage and taking a moment to steady himself. "Dante, you've made a mess of this platform." He said cooly, casting the banishing spell at the debris and sending it out towards Dante.

Could a protego even block that? Dante's blue eyes widened as he thought quickly. If Teddy was going to banish debris, could he do it right back? Might as well try, right? He used another Reducto right at the debris that would have otherwise hit him. Or maybe that was too much power?

Now this was getting interesting. He cast repello keeping any debris away from him. Teddy took a step closer to Dante, or rather a step away from the platform edge, then cast, "Obscuro"

This duel was becoming a good stalemate. That is until Teddy cast that spell and blinded him. Dante rubbed his eyes, as if that would reverse it. He pointed his wand and cast the disarming spell. Right into the crowd.

Teddy could see Dante was obscured and shot a disarming spell out to the crowd. Seeing he was disoriented, Teddy used the opportunity and cast the disarming spell right at him,"Expelliarmus"
