Professor Misha Haden had been a bit surprised to be asked to help out, he didn't often, but he didn't mind it. Though of course he was feeling a little more tired than usual with the boys keeping him awake. It was nice though, they were adorable. He looked at the two students whose duel he was overseeing. "Let's keep this clean," he said, before inviting them to get started.

The duel begins now. You have 24 hours from this to post your first reply, or face disqualification. Once both duelists have posted, you will have 24 hours from your opponents post to reply, or be disqualified. Ensure that you use the spell list for guidance on age-appropriate spells, and read over the dueling rules and points system. Please also remember site rules apply, including power/god modding. You can find the site rules here. Duels will run until there is a winner or until 6 IRL days have passed, in which case the winner will be chosen by RNG. If you are knocked out or otherwise disarmed/incapacitated, or if you run out of points, you will lose and the duel will end. Have fun!

Spectators are allowed to post in this topic once per competitors post, but are forbidden from directly interfering with the duels. Duelers cannot cast spells at the spectators or face disqualification.

Ravage might have overdone it when it came down to his opponent last time, but his older brother Horror had done the same thing. Except more so. Now, he was against another girl. He bowed to her, took his stance, and sent out a verbal Stupefy.

Sybil had been exhausted by her last duel but she was proud of herself for what she accomplished, and not just because she won. But if she wanted the title she still had a long way to go. She bowed to the boy from her house but she didn't know him well. He fired off the first spell but she manged to block it with a shield spell before sending back a trip jinx.

He hoped that this would be a challenge. Maybe Sybil St. James would give him some sort of entertainment. He hoped so. He blocked the spell since he did not want to fall on his face anytime soon. He then sent out a Knee reversing hex.

Since they were second years, they did not have many spells behind their belts, so Ravage honestly did not care if he won or not. He blocked her stunning spell and sent out a disarming one instead. How many spells were actually useful for second years to duel with?

Sybil was trying to look for any opening she could but so far she didn't seem to be picking up on much. But she was able to catch his spell in time and blocked it with a shield charm and cast a spell back at him. "Locomotor Mortis!"

Ravage had to dodge that one. He did not get his shield up in time as his mind was sort of elsewhere. He quickly countered with a Slug Vomiting Curse.

His opponent was truly after ways to just completely disarm or end the duel. Ravage could respect it. He decided that he might try to play a bit before becoming a little more serious. He blocked the spell with a shield and sent out a Jelly-legs jinx in return.
