Edward had been impressed with the calibre of students so far, and now the winners of the first round were playing their next duel. With his wand at the ready, he signaled for the next two opponents to step forward and take their positions. He addressed both with firm encouragement. “Welcome to your second duel of the tournament. You should know the drill by now. I expect to see good sportsmanship from both of you. When I give the signal, you will bow to one another and begin. Wands at the ready.” He looked between both of them before nodding. “You may begin.”

Out of Character:

The duel begins now. You have 24 hours from this to post your first reply, or face disqualification. Once both duelists have posted, you will have 24 hours from your opponents post to reply, or be disqualified. Ensure that you use the spell list for guidance on age-appropriate spells, and read over the dueling rules and points system. Please also remember site rules apply, including power/god modding. You can find the site rules here. Duels will run until there is a winner or until 6 IRL days have passed, in which case the winner will be chosen by RNG. If you are knocked out or otherwise disarmed/incapacitated, or if you run out of points, you will lose and the duel will end. Have fun!

Spectators are allowed to post in this topic once per competitors post, but are forbidden from directly interfering with the duels. Duelers cannot cast spells at the spectators or face disqualification.

Dante was honestly relieved that he won against Audrey. However, there was one problem. He wanted to go after Teddy Pirrip, but he had to face off against his roommate. That works for him because Enoch was a royal pain in the ass. He bowed to his opponent, and barely stood up straight before he fired out a Bat Bogey Hex.

Enoch felt rather certain that this duel was not going to go his way. Somehow things just worked out for Dante in a way that they did not for Enoch. He glanced at the other boy, bowed and then had to immediately block the spell that came towards him. He then shot back quickly with, "Diffindo,"

Whoa, that sort of spell was not easy to block or dodge. In fact, he put his non-wand arm up as if it would block the spell like a shield. He felt the pain of the slicing, and lowered his arm back down. Well, he would need to go to the nurse's office now, won't he? He growled and intoned, "Densaugeo!"

Enoch was rather pleased that his spell hit. He watched somewhat gleefully as it sliced his arm. He just about blocked Dante's spell, and wondered about using the same one again. "Incendio," he settled on instead.

A couple of grapes and a few fights really made Enoch want to flat out ruin him, didn't he? Dante was not having it, so he hung his arm to the side, pained from it. Maybe instead of finding spells that would just humiliate the guy, maybe he could just use stronger ones to blow him backward? He sent out a reducto after blocking the spell that would have turned him into human BBQ.

Enoch didn't really want to badly hurt Dante, but he did want to win. He was quick to block the spell and then cast, "Everte Statum," which was not that different from the spell which Dante had just sent.

At least Dante was able to block this one. He did not want to get blasted off of the stage. What could he do? Dante smirked and taunted, "I think you could use some cheer in your life, Goldewyn!" He then cast the Cheering charm at his roommate.
