Professor Styx leads the two contestants to the stage, appointing them into the north or south part of the stage. He reveals the rules as well as the point system. He walks off the stage and orders the duel to begin, as he keeps a watchful eye.​

All right, make sure that you use the spell list for guidance. No board rule breaking is acceptable. Have fun! I have a copy of the code that you should use with every post. Remember, when you are knocked out, unable to shoot anymore spells, you lost. And if you run out of points, you lose.
The duel begins now. If someone doesn't post after 24 hours, they are disqualified.

It was time for Calum's next duel and he was more confident than ever. He stood up onto the stage and smirked at the Gryffindor who was his opponent. When the duel was ordered to begin Calum instantly sent a spell straight at her. "Densaugeo."

ailsa was excited and eager, she wanted to win, was sure that she could. Ailsa stood where she was supposed to and went through the usual gruelling process that she needed to before they could just get started. Ailsa cast the spell to block his and wasted no time in firing back, she was determined to win, she cast the Instant Scalping hex and watched it fire powerfully from her wand.

Calum was more than ready to block the girl's spell and did just that with a simple wave of his wand. She looked eager for a challenge and Calum smirked, glad to be versing someone who was ready for a good game. With another wave of his wand, he quickly sent another spell her way. "Reducto." he said.

The gryffindor blocked the spell with a huge grin breaking out on her face, she was definitely going to enjoy this. She waved her wand and cast, "Incarcerous" and the rope shot out of her wand firing straight at the slytherin.

Calum watched as his opponent blocked his spell and kept his wand at the ready to block hers. With a simple wave of his wand, her spell was gone and Calum quickly sent another one back. "Furnunculus." he said.

Ailsa was gleeful for sure as the boy seemed to have some fight, and she blocked his spell with a simple flick of her wand, she took a small moment to decide what to fire back, "Levicorpus" she said with the smile clear on her face as she cast.

The girl was a bit slower in casting a spell this time and so it was easier for Calum to block it. "Protego." he said, waving his wand. He then cast a much simpler spell in hopes that it would hit her. "Expelliarmus."

Ailsa blocked his spell and frowned a little, unsure as to why he had picked such a simple and silly spell, they were a seventh year, surely they knew better than expelliarmus. Ailsa wondered if he was just nervous, but held nothing back, "Expulso," she said.

Calum angrily put his hand into a fist when he saw a frown appear on the girl's face as she blocked his spell. Did she not think he was good enough to cast anything better? Did she not realise that she was versing one of the most talented young duellers there ever was? Calum wanted to throttle her to force her to turn her frown upside down, but at least she had not spoken a word to him yet and so he kept himself contained for a little bit longer as he blocked her spell and proceeded to cast one right back at her. "Confringo." he said.

For some reason this seemed to spur him on. Which suited her fine really. She locked the spell with ease and fired back, she wasting no time in it. A simple, "Diffindo,"

Ailsa was unsure of what hit her so quickly after she cast, but her eyesight grew blurry and she found herself staring ahead at a form that she presumed was still the boy she was duelling. But being well trained, she cast a quick finite and once her vision had once again returned to normal cast, "Stupefy,"

Calum tried not to let his cockiness overcome him as he watched his spell hit the girl. Instead, he smirked as he watched her struggle and had to react fast to her next spell. He managed to block it just before impact and cast a stinging hex with another wave of his wand.

Ailsa felt a little frustrated that she had been hit with a spell, but it fuelled her anger, and she blocked his spell, wasting no time in fuelling that anger into her spell, "Deprimo," she felt, like the anger was good, allowing her clarity in this fight.

The girl was obviously bothered by the fact that the spell had hit her and was very quick to block his next one and cast another. Calum only had time to raise his wand arm before the spell had taken impact. The teen quickly grabbed ahold of his arm, followed by a frustrated scream. Looking down, it was an open wound, but all Calum could do was shrug it off and continue, even if it wasn't to the best of his ability. "Obscuro." he said, pain shooting through his am as he waved his wand.
