[Professor Kalif Styx]

Professor Styx leads the two contestants to the stage, appointing them into the north or south part of the stage. He reveals the rules as well as the point system. He walks off the stage and orders the duel to begin, as he keeps a watchful eye.​

All right, make sure that you use the spell list for guidance. No board rule breaking is acceptable. Have fun! I have a copy of the code that you should use with every post. Remember, when you are knocked out, unable to shoot anymore spells, you lost. And if you run out of points, you lose.
The duel begins now. If someone doesn't post after 24 hours, they are disqualified.

Joanna was particularly looking forward to this duel, well after the disaster that the last one was she was just happy to duel anyone. The fact that this duel was against one of her half brothers, it just made it all the better. Entering the duelling chamber she took her position, bowed and took her stance. Not wanting to waste anytime and smirked and started. "Stupefy!" she said, putting as much force as she could behind it.

This was it. This was the championship duel. Lucien looked forward to this, but then he heard his opponent was his own half-blood sister. Another sibling just to prove that he was better than them. That shouldn't be a problem at all. He took his bow, and went over to the same platform. Lucien took his sweet time, and he murmured, "This is going to be so easy. That win is mine." He got out his wand, looked up and saw a flash of red. Poor, cocky Lucien didn't even have time to move or put up a protego. The spell hit dead on. He was blasted back, stunned, both magically and emotionally. Just like that, it was over.

Even Professor Styx was surprised by how quickly the duel went by. He walked up to the stage, reviving Lucien as he uttered, "That was pathetic." He then announced that Joanna was the winner, and all was finished, at long last.
