Professor Misha Haden had been a bit surprised to be asked to help out, he didn't often, but he didn't mind it. Though of course he was feeling a little more tired than usual with the boys keeping him awake. It was nice though, they were adorable. He looked at the two students whose duel he was overseeing. "Let's keep this clean," he said, before inviting them to get started.

Out of Character:

The duel begins now. You have 24 hours from this to post your first reply, or face disqualification. Once both duelists have posted, you will have 24 hours from your opponents post to reply, or be disqualified. Ensure that you use the spell list for guidance on age-appropriate spells, and read over the dueling rules and points system. Please also remember site rules apply, including power/god modding. You can find the site rules here. Duels will run until there is a winner or until 6 IRL days have passed, in which case the winner will be chosen by RNG. If you are knocked out or otherwise disarmed/incapacitated, or if you run out of points, you will lose and the duel will end. Have fun!

Spectators are allowed to post in this topic once per competitors post, but are forbidden from directly interfering with the duels. Duelers cannot cast spells at the spectators or face disqualification.

Signing up for Duelling had been a choice she hadn't been sure she would make, and especially going up against Ravage in her first round felt a little unfair. She wasn't the best when it came to duels, but still, she was going to try her best. Her fingers tightened around her wand and she quickly started the duel off with "Petrificus Totalus!"

Since Terror and Horror were dueling, why wouldn't he give it a shot? He was bored too. He walked up to the platform and turned to face... Who was this nobody again? No, she had the same last name as Sayuri. Still, he didn't know. Ravage simply side stepped to dodge the spell, and then cast the Trip Jinx.

Watching with everyone else, Jonah was very quietly watching Rose duel Ravage while he waved a red flag about. He really, really, really didn't want to distract her.​

Sayuri had no such reservations about yelling at Rose. "KICK HIS A** ROSE!"​

She barely even managed to see the spell, almost falling to the side inside of actually dodging it or using a shield spell. She should have seen it coming, but she'd been slightly distracted by Sayuri screaming for her. She tried to calm her nerves, breathing deeply like she'd been taught to try and make herself feel more steady. "Ex-Expelliarmus!"

She was going to have to do better than that. Ravage got a head start with her stuttering, so he put his Protego to help keep his wand in his hand. Ravage aimed his wand, "You need to keep yourself steady and on your feet if you want to stand a chance against anyone." Ravage then cast Locomotor Mortis at Rose. Hearing Sayuri cheer for Rose only fueled him to make him want to make Rose's loss even more devastating.

Rose couldn't tell if he was trying to be helpful or not, but he was right about her needing to be steadier than she currently was, so she tried to keep that in mind as she tried to focus. Unforunately, her focusing on his instructions threw her off balance when he aimed another spell at her, and legs locked together, making it impossible for her to correct her stance when she'd been in the middle of doing do. She fell heavily to the ground pain shooting up her wrist when she threw it out to catch herself. "F-finite! Stupefy" She said, from the ground.

And she was hit by the spell. Figured as much. He put up another shield charm to block the one that would stun him. "I'll make this quick while you are still down. Everte Statum!" Ravage figured that getting her while she was still on the floor would be an easier way to win the duel.

He'd been protecting with a shield when she'd started to get up, she didn't think he would have been quick enough to get her whilst her ability to shield was down. She didn't even see him move, she just suddenly felt herself flung into the air only stopping when she hit something hard, and everything went black.
