Domain Changes

Hi wonderful people of HNZ,

I'm just fiddling with some domain settings right now (namely changing the domain's nameservers).
As I do this, HNZ's main domain may start to point strange places for some people (or fail to load the board or whatever).
So I've made the default domain for HNZ our default ZetaBoards URL temporarily to ensure continued access to the board for as many users as possible.
This change should only take a couple of hours - but might take longer.

Update:
Most of the changes have taken place, but some users might experience connection problems with HNZ as the changes propagate.
If you know of such a user, encourage them to clear their DNS cache.

I caught a few more problems when I checked in on my phone (I'm out right now) and tried to resolve most of them (but I am on my phone, so that was a bit of a challenge. )

Hopefully by tomorrow we'll be back to normal with everything propagated appropriately.

So what is being done, as in, what is the reason for the domain changing?

I've just updated HNZ's nameservers so the domain is able to be pointed etc. through my hosting and not through the domain registrar (which is now trying to limit the number of records you can use unless you purchase a "premium" service - which was not what was in the deal when I purchased the domain).
It's also just easier for me to manage everything from one area instead of two or three.
This change was additionally the perfect opportunity for me to point the domain to HNZ through A-records and not CNAME records. A records are generally quicker (though less reliable should a server IP change) and allow for MX records to be used alongside them (something CNAME records don't seem to work with and have prevented me from using just @hogwartsnewzealand.com as an email).

The domain will return to just hogwartsnewzealand.com as soon as I'm sure everything is working properly.
