Amodeus wasn't sure this was going very well. After about an hour of... somewhat questionable progress, he was sitting in the shallows of the ocean, Marley splashing around nearby. She was doing... something, probably, but he was busy watching how the silt was squishing between his toes, feeling the warm sun on his skin and the water dripping from his hair. "You must really like living by the ocean," He told her absently, enjoying the gentle lapping of the waves against him.

Marley had enjoyed the wee break from Hogwarts, though she did miss Hogwarts a little bit when she was away for the break, though she wouldn't admit it if she was being honest. Marley had invited Deus over during the break to hang out for a bit. She had suggested teaching him to swim, but after trying to teach him for the past hour, she had just given up and decided maybe they'd just hang in the water for a bit. The Hufflepuff had swum in the ocean for a while, splashing around a little amongst other things she did in the water. Marley chuckled and nodded. "I do, it's really peaceful to be honest. I like it"
