Dial nine for Ferb

Epiphany couldn't imagine anyone not knowing about Hogwarts in Scotland but then she imagined that there where those that didn't even know about the wizarding war that started in Europe. Epiphany let her thoughts go. "You mean the one in Quebec, the all boys one? That must have been depressing. I flatly refused to go to Salem School for girls for the same reason." She said giggling softly. There had been no way in heaven or hell that she was going to an all girl's school no matter how jealous Luthor had been of her interactions if boys. Back when he had a say in the matter.

"Fairly popular. I can visit you in Brightstone every once in a while. Brightstone is the village near the school. Then there's the Harbor that's not to fall from there and the magical mall. It will give me an excuse to annoy my family too when I do go visit." She said giggling again. She did love to be the biggest brat to Eden just because it was expected of her. Not that Eden minded lately, she started being as big of a 'celebutant' as her sisters in Japan. Epiphany grinned at the thought. She only had a year before she could join the party scene there if only to make herself her other self less visible. Epiphany knew all ready that was going to miss Ferb if he did go to New Zealand even if there was Brightstone and such places visit him at.

"Oh right. I'll have to look it up if I ever get the chance". But of course Ferb knew he'd have trouble doing that unless he found a book. Wizards, obviously, don't create websites for their schools so the only way he'd find out would be the annoying way of looking for wizard books or asking people.

He placed his wand on his bed at this point so he can still talk. Luckily enough the magic wasn't interfering with the call and he didn't understand why but he thought it best not to jinx anything. "So what are you up to now then?". At this point he just wanted to make conversation to keep talking to her.

"I think I still have the history book somewhere I will give it to you if you want it." She said as she thought about what she still had from her Hogwarts days. She had refilled the ink bottles a few times and had the first year books but other things she had either lost or thrown away. The robes long since donated to the second hand shop because she never planned on going back. her toys served her no purpose now and if she went back it would only be for Ferb and maybe to get new plaything while she doubted that the metiral had gotten harder since she left.

Maybe his mobile would have jammed with magic but Epiphany's would have been just fine. She had her wand to the right next to the dagger that had been playing with earlier but of course she was going to tell him about the dagger. Epiphany was rather fond of blades. "Just talking to you and wondering if we're just going to go to lunch or if we're going to hit the Gate too." She brightly. She didn't sound the least bit tired even though it was quite late now. She could tell because the alarm next to her was glowing with the time. Epiphany was too excited to sleep.

Ferb sat up and began looking around the room. He decided that he'd prefer to sit in the dark now because it was getting a bit late. He stopped the lighting charm and laid back in the bed, the phone still pressed against his ear as Epiphany spoke. "That would be great. Would come in handy, thanks! Want me to come down and get it now?", he clearly sounded thankful for her offer.

"The Gate?", he said confusingly. Was she on about the Golden Gate Bridge? Surely no. Who goes there for a date? Ferb was clearly missing something.

"No problem sugar I will just dig out of my old stuff. I'm sure I have it somewhere." She said. Her brain was already going through the stuff she had in her room to try and remember what box she had that particular book in. Everything was in it's place but she had forgotten in what what box she had tucked the history book in. She was sure she would find it though. All she had to do was to go through the mental inventory she always kept.

Epiphany gave a short laugh. "I guess even some of the wizards that live here don't know about it. There's a gate in China Town that crosses over into a magical street in San Francisco. I bumped into it today and was wondering if maybe we could explore together." She said as she twirled one of her curls around her finger absentmindedly.

Hogwarts New Zealand sounded like quite a place and now Ferb could read about it and see what Epiphany was talking about. His only other option of schooling would be Hogwarts in Scotland, like she had spoken about, but that wouldn't be adventurous enough for him.

He got up held his phone to his ear with his shoulder so he would be able to get dressed more freely. Luckily he remembered that she was in number 50 so he would only have to take the elevator two floors up to find her.

"That actually sounds great. If you know exactly where it is then I'm up for it. Tomorrow's good for you?". He had noticed that he hadn't actually scheduled a date for the date. He no longer wanted to be the comforting man for her, he just wanted to be with her. He couldn't explain the connection they had but it was something he didn't want to lose.

"Tomorrow afternoon? Seeing as it looks like we're not going to sleep any time soon." She said giggling. Epiphany had to admit it was nice even though she could feel herself start to drift off a little bit. She cuddled her pillow closer and rested her head against it. "Yeah I remember where it is but didn't have time to go through to day because how late I was there. This trip is starting to sound more and more fun." She said her voice getting more dreamy.

Ferb chuckled at the thought that this date had gone from an innocent lunch at a little bakery to a trip into a wizard street.

He didn't bother to put his shoes on but he was dressed in jeans & a shirt as he walked out his apartment door. He strolled over the elevator whilst talking to Epiphany on the phone. "I'm just off now to collect that book from you so you better answer the door", he laughed, "As for the date, I'll make sure I bring some cash with me to spend. Both for the Lunch and the spending down the Gate".

There was 5 apartments on each floor and because this building was so large, there was a lot of apartments. So with 5 apartments on each floor (not counting the Ground floor) Ferb lived on the 7[sup]th[/sup] floor. That meant that she was on the 9[sup]th[/sup]. So he pressed the button, got in and off in the elevator he went.

Epiphany slid out of her bed and the first thing she did was slide her dagger in the side table drawer than took her wand and called her book to her. She would reorganize the box it came from later. She kicked the door to her closet closed. "Don't worry cutie I will be ready for you." She said with 'Hogwarts A History' in her hands. She walked out to her living room and sat out on her couch. Here like in all of the places that she inhabited there was an awful lot of pink, purple and white. Colours that one would not normally associate with someone like her. Epiphany prided herself in differing from the norm in her own special way.

"I will take some of my allowance too just in case something happens you know." She said. She was not the feminist type that refused to be catered too, sometimes it was quite the other way around where she had whined money and gifts off of Luthor as best she could. There was a difference here though, she actually liked Ferb while her joy with Luthor was annoying the tar out of him. That and her tastes where reather expensive and she didn't expect Ferb to accommodate them just yet.

Epiphany hadn't bothered to change out of her boy shorts and tank top but she did run a small spell through hair to settle down her curls. This was a impromptu pajama party of sorts.

Stood in the elevator, Ferb decided to end the call as he was going to be there in a few minutes anyway. "I'll see you in a minute", he said, allowing her to reply before hanging up.

The elevator, as usual, was slow in getting where he had to go. He brought his wand as well and decided to fiddle with it until he got to the right floor. He had noticed that it had a tiny scratch on it that didn't please him at all. He prefered to keep his wand as immaculate as possible to keep his mind at ease. His wand was apart of his very being and a scratch on it would mean a scratch in his personality.

The elevator finally reached the right floor and the doors slowly opened. He noticed two muggles speaking in the hallway so Ferb slid his wand down the back of his jeans just enough so it wouldn't fall out the other end with one jump. The muggles seem to be talking about the recent news but Ferb couldn't understand why they would talk in the hallway to do that. However, he strolled past them without a word.

He counted each door's number until he reached... ah ha... number 50. He was finally going to see her again since the elevator ride this morning. His heart began to race a little and with a little sweat, he knocked twice and waited for an answer.

Epiphany clicked her phone off and put it on her coffee table. She called another one of her books over to her while letting her radio play. Everything about her other side was out of sight and hidden. Epiphany felt quite proud of herself for this. She took in a couple of passages of her alchemy book, something about covaiant bonds, before she heard the knock on the door. She hopped out of the white couch and answered. She saw Ferb and gave him a wide smile and a hug.

"Well that was quick cutie. Guess that elevator is not so slow after all." Epiphany said giggling softly. She stepped aside to let him in. Her eyes met those of the people in the hall and she gave them the brightest sunshine grin. They didn't really know her but the knew that there was something odd about the young girl living alone in number 50. She was nice enough but there wasn't something quite right there.

She liked giving off that feeling knowing that they would never guess how right they where. "The book is on the coffee table." She said closing the door behind hind her and almost skipping to the couch. Her living room was almost normal and modern looking except there was no television because Epiphany had never been curious enough to watch one.

Ferb hugged back as Epiphany hugged him excitedly. He was taller than her but not tall enough that it became awkward. He noticed that she was in some pyjamas but he couldn't blame her. Not to mention it was doing his attraction towards her some favours.

He took a long look around the living room as he slowly shut the door behind him. He could see the clear colour scheme Epiphany was a fan of. He wasn't a fan of pink (like most men) but he found it cute that girls showed it off. He slowly strolled towards the coffee table where, just as she said, the book was placed.

"Very nice place you got here. I'm impressed", he complimented. He slowly picked up the book off the table and open it to a middle page where he quickly scanned the page as he sat down on the same couch that Epiphany was sat on. He flipped through the pages quite quickly to have a look what the book was. He could see that it was obviously a wizard book as its pictures were enchanted and the text was quite plain.

He looked at at Epiphany with a smile and said "I can't thank you enough, really". He wanted to thank her but only a few thoughts sprung to mind of what he could do for her.

Epiphany smiled wide. "Thanks. I know it's like majorly girly but it's me." She said as she bounced on the couch then pulled slightly on his arm to get him to sit with her. She was getting a few ideas running through her head too all of them would make her elders scoff at her but Epiphany wouldn't have cared. Those that she had lived with before here had lists of boyfriends longer than her grade scroll. "Don't mention it. You where interested in my old school. The least I could do was share the information I had." She said as she slid herself closer to him.

The hug at the door, the touching as he sat down and the scooting closer to him only meant that she was as attracted to Ferb as he was to her. This was relieving to Ferb as it meant that he was doing something right. He got slightly closer to Epiphany and continued to thank her. "No really, I can't thank you enough. I wish there was a way I could make it up to you though". Ferb moved closer to Epiphany as she did so herself. There was definitely chemistry between the two and he knew it.

Was it worth it? Who knows? Ferb went with the moment & followed his heart.

Epiphany bit her lip as if she was shy knowing that a small splash of pink crossed her cheeks. She leaned up a bit while placing her hand on his shoulder be able to keep herself up on her knees. She felt the spark between them too though for her it was slightly different. "You're talking me out to lunch and exploring a new place with me I think that's thanks enough. Besides I think you're the one that needs a little help." She said before brushing her lips softly against his, her purple eyes searching his for his reaction.

Ferb closed his eyes. He had met Epiphany less than 24 hours ago and now he was sitting on a couch in her apartment confronted with this situation. He knew what to do, however. He hadn't been in this situation before but he could control his nerves enough to see clearly of what was happening and to make clear judgements.

He pushed himself slowly against Epiphany as she brushed her lips against his. He knew her intention and he wanted to as well. He leaned in and embraced Epiphany. He tilted his face to the side and went into a soft kiss on Epiphany's smooth lips.

Sparks went flying. Ferb had wanted this since he had met her in the elevator this morning and he couldn't believe it was happening. It was certainly an experience he would not regret tomorrow.

Epiphany let her eyes flutter closed and slipped her arms around his neck. She wasn't about the let him make get a clear thought in edge wise. She always got what she wanted and what she wanted tonight was Ferb. She kissed him back a little deeper while she slid onto his lap. Her heart sped up by the second.

Epiphany could tell that he was new at this so she took the lead a little bit though this was more passionate then what did with Luthor. She drove the thought out of her head and let the feelings that where springing up between them. What was happening her amused her a bit. She never would have guessed that she would end up on her couch making out with a guy she had met that day.

This situation was out of his control and Ferb liked it. He was very clearly attracted to Epiphany and here he is making out her with on a couch in her apartment.

With Epiphany on his lap and close, he slowly laid back until they were both laid flat on the couch. He got himself more comfortable and expressed his passion fully. The electricity between the two was epic. They were, quite literally, like a couple of schoolkids.

Ferb could feel that the situation was getting out of hand and knew he needed to stop it. He pulled himself from Epiphany and spoke softly. "You know as well as I that we can't... you know". He positioned the pair of them upright so he could sit on the couch properly. He picked up the book from the floor, that he had dropped, he stood up.

"Thanks for this though", he laughed. "I'll see you tomorrow". He smiled nicely and leaned in for a final kiss before exiting the apartment.

Epiphany blushes a deep red and nods. "Such a gentleman." She said running her hand over head and smiles sweetly at him. She shimmied off his lap and let him get up. She watches him leave with a grin on her even though her hormones where still acting up. She gets up and fallows him to the door to make sure it gets locked after he leaves. "No problem and yeah see you tomorrow cutie." She said leans up and kisses him one last time.

Epiphany giggled to herself as she closed the door behind him and locked it. She sighed to herself. This was something more than her usual meet and greet. She liked him. The glitch in the back of her mind started to push again but it was still a dull throb and she could hold it off for a few days at least. With that comforting thought Epiphany made her way to bed hoping that the next day would come soon.
